4 Encounter

Allyson was in a complicated state right now.

Her estranged grandmother had finally met up with her mom after god knows how many years, just at one of the worst times she could have hoped for. Just as she was introducing her boyfriend Cameron to her parents, her grandmother just randomly came into the resturant they were eating at, a little buzzed, twitchy, and sniffling. Not only did it concern her about her Grandmothers wellbeing, it also was super awkward as her grandmother just kept drinking wine and getting even more drunk, all while arguing with her mom, which made her embarrassed in front of her boyfriend.

Thankfully, her grandmother eventually left the restaurant after knocking over a bunch of plates. Her dad and boyfriend decided to leave to go get the car, leaving Allyson and her mom Karen to watch as her grandmother walked away from the strip mall.

"You need to know this. I was raised to trust no one. Our house was a bunker and I lived on lockdown my entire childhood. We'd hide in the basement every time the paranoia set in. I still have nightmares about that room. She didn't let me go to school. Instead she trained to shoot and fight until social services came and took me away. I chose to forget the neurosis she planted in my head."

Her moms words echoed throughout her mind. As much as she loved her grandmother, her constant paranoia was a severe detremential trait. And what for? A man whos been locked up for years? Even she started to have doubts about her grandmothers worries.

Shaking her head as if it would help get rid of these thoughts, Alloyson looked up to her grandmother, staring deeply at her. Granted her grandmother was a distance away from her so she thought she was looking at something behind her.

It was weird but she didn't pay much mind about it. She gave a quick glance at her mom to see that she was still rambling away about something. Looking back at her grandmother, she squinted her eyes. Her grandmother was saying something that she could barely read from her lips.

"Why is she saying 'my god'?"

Laruie POV:

Laurie had been through a lot.

Ever since that horrific day in 1963, she had constantly training, preparing, doing everything she could in her power to get ready for whenever 'He' would come back to find her. He had caused damage to her that would never heal, and she was going to give the pain back to him tenfold.

But this came at a cost, and that was her ability to hold meaningful relationships. 2 marriages and her daughter was sacrificed to protect them from 'Him'. The very thought of what she had done hurts her very soul, but she had to do it. She had to protect them, even if it hurt her to do so.

Looking back her estranged daughter and grandaughter, she could only bitterly smile at them. She knew all to well what she just did, but she needed to see how they were. Her eyes lingered on them for a moment before something strange caught her eye.

A boy was standing a bit away from her daughter and grandaughter. He was clearly from a asian decent, paired with dcruffy black hair, darkish brown eyes, a tall frame, all in wrapped up in a elegant suit. This was already strange as asians were not common in Haddonfield., but that was the least of her concerns.

No, something much more concerning came to her mind.

"My god..."

After years of facing off against 'Him', Laurie had developed a form of a sixth sense that informed her of dangerous people. It was like a subtle buzz deep in her mind. Whenever she fought 'Him', her sense would be so loud that it was akin to sticking her head in a bee nest.

But this boy no older then her grandaughter, no this thing. Her mind was screaming at her, telling her that she need to move, escape, do anything to leave this area. What was more terrifying is that she was several meters away and yet she still was in this much fear.

She quickly turned around, sweat dripping down from her head. What in gods name did that boy had have to do to make her, the person whos fought off 'Him' for decades to feel this scared. She turned back, only to find that the boy was gone. As if he was never there.

She made it back to her truck before whiping the sweat off her forehead. She didn't know if what she just experienced was real, or just a drunken hallucination. She could only shake her head in pain as she started up her truck.

POV change:

"Jesus that was close."

I had seen one of the main characters of Halloween 2018, Allyson Nelson, walking through the entrance of the strip mall, spurring me to go follow her discreatly. It was pretty weird, but I was strangely able to completely avoid her and her entire family from locating me. It was probably due to the nature of the John Wick preset which made me appreicate it more.

I followed them all the way to the parking lot of the strip mall, seeing Allysons mom Karen and Allyson herself staring off into the parking lot.

'The hell are they looking at?'

Quickly going through the entrance door, I stood a bit away from them as I looked into the darkness of the parking lot. It took a moment due to the darkness but there I saw what they were looking at.

'Ah it's her.'

Laurie Strode.

The main protagonist of the original Halloween movie and sequels after it. She has been the constant survior of the attacks of her brother, Micheal Meyers. They have been playing a game pf cat and mouse for years now, and in this movie this would be the first time she's seen him in years.

I crossed my arms as I also look at Laurie, a famous movie character was only a few meters away from me. I wish I could get like a autograph or something.

Guess she didn't hold the same idea as me.

I don't know what happened, but Laurie saw me, probably due to me not actually trying to hide myself. She froze up on the spot, as she directly saw me. I don't know what went through her head but she turned around and started to walk again after seeing me for like 5 seconds.

I decided that was enough of me she'd see for a awhile, or at least until I'm forced to find and hunt down Micheal, but that's for future me to deal with. I hid behind a conveniently placed mall sign or something, completely covering me from a persons sight.

I heard a car pull up, and a male voice (which I could only assume was Ray, Allysons dad and Karens Husband) tell the 2 of them to get in the car. Peeping my head around the corner of the sign, I saw Ray handing Allyson a yellow envelope.

"Your grandma told me to give you this."

Allyson looked inside the envelope, only to be greeted with the green of cash, then looking to Cameron who stood near her.

Ah, so sweet.

Laurie wasn't the greatest person, but she dearly loved Allyson and her daughter. That money she gave them showed so. But I don't think Karen shares the same idea.

"It's like she's spent her entire adult life preparing for the past. She lives every day in fear he's coming back."

"I could never understand her, he's never coming back so why worry so much?"

Oh my dear, how wrong you are.

You were so, so wrong.

They all got into the car, before driving away, letting me finally leaving my hiding spot.

"Ah man, seems like the day is coming closer and closer."

I could only let a deep sigh as my stomach grumbled in hunger.

'Well time to go hit up that Italian joint.'

"Hey system, you know how to make a grenade?"
