However, what had shocked him the most was the news that Sun Qiushan had died after she escaped from him. The thought of losing her and their child had weakened him. So Qiushan had chosen death as a way-out than to stay with him? 

Xi Yunchuan let out a low laugh, surprising his lawyer. The old man couldn't understand what Xi Yunchuan found amusing at this time. His life had been turned upside-down, and his future wasn't clear. It didn't help that the enemy that struck him was nowhere to be found. 

"How did Qiushan die?" Xi Yunchuan asked, breaking the silence between them.
