*ERIC'S POV*

It's once again February 14th! Probably the second worst day right after Christmas which happens to be my absolute worst!

I'm walking down the not so busy streets of Connecticut.

Almost everything is painted red!

Red flowers all over.

Lovers walking while holding hands,laughing their hearts out and taking endless photos in the name of 'keeping the memories alive.

I'm disgusted by all of that.

Afraid of being infected with the lovey-divey mood,I walk into my favorite coffee shop and take a seat at my usual spot.

Bella,one of the waitress that works there,walks over to me and says,"Happy Valentine's day Eric!"

She seemed excited about this day.

"And to you too,Bella!"I answered with forced enthusiasm.

I'm a good person and being a kill joy isn't part of what I do.

More often than not,I prefer to put my feelings aside and make the other person happy even if I'm not making myself happy.

"The usual?"Bella asks.

I nod and with that,she dashes to get my usual order of caffé latté.

She comes back with my order, lays it on the table and says,"Here you go. Anything else?"

"No. Thank you,"I say,watch her go away then take a sip of my caffé latté.

Mmmmh!

Nothing tastes better than this that's for sure!

Not even those Valentine's day chocolates!

I take the second,third and many more sips until my coffee cup becomes empty.

I signal Bella to bring me my cheque and once I had paid,I walk out of the coffee shop.

I lazily walk down the street,ignoring every florist wishing me a happy Valentine's and telling me to buy the roses they were selling.

I was still busy walking when I felt something hut my back.

I turned only to see a curly black haired 5'6 lady with probably the most beautiful blue eyes I had ever seen standing there.

She wore a pink flair dress that had the words 'Little Miss Cupid' written on it.

"Happy Valentine's Day!"she says with a lot of energy.

"And to you too,"I answer casually with a forced smile.

"No,"she says.

"No what?"I ask.

"You have to say the whole statement. So,let's do this again,shall we? Happy Valentine's Day!"she said.

I sigh then give in,"Happy Valentine's Day to you too, Little Miss Cupid."

She smiles and says,"That's more like it!"

How does it feel being in Eric's shoes?!

How about we switch it up a little bit and get into Little Miss Cupid's shoes?!
