Chapter 2: Brace Death With Open Arms

Welcome to chapter 2 I will be doing arcs each arc will have three or more chapters. Chapters prologue to chapter 3 are the origin arc.

It wasn't supposed to happen this way. It was supposed to be a normal day with Ruby meeting her siblings...

Until...

There was a attack, but not just some random attack, they had a goal in mind and that goal was to capture and subdue a girl, Ruby Rose, they attacked early in the morning before Raven, Willow and Ruby's siblings returned from there mission.

Summer had went out to the store to get ingredients for food and pain to pick up Ruby's medicine.

Their attack was partially successful but they weren't able to kill Ruby due to the house catching on fire.

Here is how the house caught on fire.

It was only about thirty minutes after Summer left when Ruby was awoken by the sound of glass breaking.

It didn't really bother her as Summer accidentally broke tons of plates ever since she got here, but something about the glass breaking was different.

Summer wasn't screaming in annoyance, instead Ruby heard a deep chuckle that sent Ruby into a panic.

It wasn't a familiar chuckle either, it was filled to the brim with malicious intent.

Oum! Oh man what do I do!?

I quietly get up while looking around for a exit. I place my right hand on the wounds on my rib. It hurt a lot.

The windows were locked shut and the door would most likely lead me right to the voice.

I could try the windows but they were complicated to open and were really squeaky. So even if I tried to open it I would get caught right away.

I might be able to sneak around the intruder. At this time I wish everyone was here to help me.

Slowly I head to the door, keeping in mind that I heard more voices the closer I got to my door.

Kneeling down I place my finger on the ground. Sending a few waves of aura into it. A few waves come back to me.

I sense a total of... 7 people. I am outnumbered and unarmed, they seem to have weapons both long range and close range.

I don't know there abilities either. From what Mama told me yesterday people in Japan have Quirks, Semblances and secretly supernatural. There are also

I wait until they are out of the area where they could see me if I exit. I open the door as quietly as I can. Exiting the room I grab a lit candle if anything I will make it sure as hell that my family knew I was kidnapped or killed. Also if I go down I am taking these intruders with me.

I pass by where the intruders walked and quietly made my way down the stairs. Making it to the living room. I take a quick look around the place, seeing that it is empty.

Looking at the the big window it is completely shattered, huh, I guess that was what shattered.

Something feels wrong....

Turning around slowly, I am hit with a heavy object.

The young girl was knocked out cold, the candle dropping from her hand landing on the carpet below.

A female voice calls out from above Ruby's body.

???:" Heh. That was too easy, like taking candy from a bab- SHIT!" The women yells the last part as the carpet caught on fire.

The women quickly picks up Ruby and barges out the door in a panic. She could let the younger girl die just yet. Not when they needed her for their plan.

Soon the people who were in Ruby's house were now rushing out of the building.

??? Male 1:" Holy shit! hahaha" The man said as he laughed at the misery of the silver eyed girl that is unconscious. The man looks over at Ruby before grinning, he stalked closer to her.

But he was fortunately stopped by the women who carried Ruby out of the house.

???:" You are not fucking touching her Jerod. You already defiled those other girls, that ruined our fucking plans. Leave this girl be so that we can actually complete our plan, you fucking pedophile." The women ranted, clearly pissed off at the man named Jerod, not letting him close to Ruby. She turns to Ruby before picking her up. " Now lets get moving before people show up!" The women yells to her other crewmembers.

Boy did they not know what they are getting into. They will be dead if they hurt Ruby.

Something feels wrong. I better get home. Just in case.

I quickly paid for my groceries and pack it up in my car, before hopping in and driving off.

The feeling in my gut was getting worse. I could feel myself panicking.

Something happened. Something really bad happened.

Summer:" Shit! Fuck! Move out of my God Damn way you drunk wannabe drunks!" I yelled as I passed them, something happened and I was not going to let them get in my way.

I finally pull up on my street only to see a bunch of smoke and a shit ton of cop cars and firetrucks.

I pull over near them and park my car. Getting out of my car I run up only to see my house on fire and see that one of the windows are broken.

Summer:" Ruby!" I yell as I run towards the house. I was stopped by a police officer.

Police Officer:" Ma'am, please set back." He had a gruff voice that sounded worried. " It's been a while since one of these things happened. This isn't just any fire. This is now a crime scene." My heart stopped.

Summer:" What the Fuck do you mean 'Crime Scene' one of my daughters are in there!" The officer shakes his head.

He pointed at the broken window that I saw earlier, " Ma'am, your daughter is not in there anymore, she was taken by a cult that kidnaps kids of any age. They all end up... Ra*** and later on killed. It is already too late for your kid ma'am... I'm sorry for your lo-" The man was cut off by a fist coming out of nowhere.

Summer turns to the person who punched the officer. Only to see Raven, Willow, and the rest of her kids. Summer was pulled into a hug by Willow, as Summer breaks down crying, there was multiple scenarios running through her head as Willow comforted her. Willow was worried about Ruby as well. She may not have met Ruby but she knows that Ruby has been through a lot, and she will be damned it she let anything happen to her.

Mean while Raven was pissed, and I mean PISSED. She wasn't the only one either as five pairs of red eyes shined behind her.

Who ever did was going to pay for taking the one person that was supposed to be safe with them.

One by one they were going to break them down. Starting with the person who played their hand on Ruby.
