12 Chapter 12. Super snake

"Hakuna Matata!

"NO WORRIES!

FOR THE REST OF YOUR DAAAAYSSSS"

ITS A PROBLEM FREE, PHILOSOPHY!

HAKUNA MATATA!

The group of five sang along as they walked through the Forrest. They had been out doing the usual.

"Aaaah this is the good life, I hope nothing ever changes!" Simba said as they reached their new dwelling place.

It's as Timon once said, the whole forrest is their bed, they can go wherever, whenever.

As for Simba, his voice had changed considerably. His mane has become full.

"Don't worry, in this place of Hakuna matata, nothing ever changes! Timon said, proud over the fact that they lived a life of no responsibilities.

"Who'd ever think that predators like us would build a family with food like them!" Imani said nonchalantly.

"HEY! I'm not food, I'm a fine dish!" Pumba said while showing his big, juicy bacon.

"Pumba that's not the problem here!" Timon rolled his eyes.

"You're right Imani, Timon be careful so we don't accidentally eat you in our sleep" Asafa said while showing his big fangs with a grin.

Timon got shivers up his spine and climbed atop Simba's mane.

"S-s-simba you're brother is at it again!" He said shivering.

Asafa had grown the biggest, Imani had become a full fledged adult. Simba had grown bigger than her.

Timon and Pumba who led their group of 5 suddenly stopped, making Imani walk into them, and Simba into her.

"Hey why did you suddenly stop like that!"!Imani complained.

"Is that, what I think it is?" Pumba said.

"We should probably run... Right?" Timon answered.

"Ye... WAIT DON'T WE HAVE TWO LIONS AND ONE WEIRDO WITH US?!" Pumba realised.

"WHO'S THE WEIRDO!" Imani got angry.

Both timon and Pumba hurriedly ran back behind Asafa and the gang.

That's when they saw what had scared the two, it was a green snake as long as a human arm.

It layed unconscious in the middle of their path, it had a Scar above it's one eye and it looked quite young.

"Simba! I chose you, go eat it!" Timon shouted as he pointed at the snake.

"Ew no, you go eat it!" Simba passed the role to Imani.

"NO it might be poisonous, Asafa you go eat it!" She denied hurriedly. Snakes are sneaky and she didn't want to deal with them.

"Don't wanna, Pumba you go fart on it!" Asafa passed the responsibility to Pumba.

"Wait, is it even alive?" Timon said as he picked up a long tree branch and poked it.

"The snake is probably dead! Should I use him as a scarf?" Timon said as he relaxed and started walking to the snake.

As for the snake, he was a young teen had almost died in a fight against a carnivore bird that attacked him.

He escaped the bird attack but fell down from the tree that he was on which led to the fact that he fell unconscious.

As he heard the commotion made by the five he started waking up and the first thing he hears is "The snake is probably dead! Should I use him as a scarf?"

Suddenly the snake erected and showed his fangs in anger.

"Ssss Who dares to make me a scarf??!" He said angrily.

Timon that had started walking towards the snake stopped in fright, and when he saw the snake look at him he fainted.

"Timon! I'll save you!" Pumba shouted in fear as he ran forward, but when he saw the snake, he also fainted.

"These two... Are they doing it on purpose?" Imani asked.

"Whahahah my power levelsss has risen I sssee!" The snake said proudly. He figured that his last fight must have broken his limits and become more powerful than any snake before him, that's why the red pig and yellow rat died by a simple gaze.

"You three! If you met me just an hour ago, you'd be able to eat me up, but thingsss have changed! I'll pardon you if you accept me asss the king of this Forresssst!"

Imani just dropped her jaws, she has found someone even more shameless than her.

"I'll think about it if you can bring those two back to life!" Asada said seriously, with a glint of mischief in his eyes.

Simba's eyes just twitched.

"Bring back to life?" The snake repeated, he slithered to the meerkat and swine, looked at them curiously.

"If I can kill them with one look, then I should be able to bring them back with one touch?" He whispered.

His tail nudged Timon a few times and then Timon started to awaken.

"it worked!" The snake fell back in fear.

'I see, my powers are even greater than I originally believed...' the snake realised.

As Timon awakened, he looked around in confusion, when he realised what has happened he ran behind Imani for protection, which awoke Pumba as well.

"Whahah this lord'sss name is Hamu! What will you ssay! Will you make me your leader?" The snake asked proudly.

"Amazing, you can kill with one gaze and bring back to life with one touch. That means that you're a super snake!" Asafa said, amazed.

"Sssuper Sssnake? Indeed, I like the sssound of that!" He said proudly. Even lions and panthers seem to adore his greatness.

"But Simba, have you ever wondered?" Asafa suddenly turned to his brother in askance.

"Wondered what?" Simba looked at his sceptically.

"How a super snake tastes?" Asafa said with a bit of drool coming out of his mouth.

It was at this point Timon and pumba fainted again.

"Y-y-you! Don't you dare, I will look at you super hard!" The snake shivered and said.

Asafa started walking towards the snake.

Hamu instantly tried to use his new powers and stare the big lion to death... But it didn't work.

"What.. what did you do to me? Where my powers!!!!" Hamu shouted in fear.

"When you almost killed me with your stare, I also awakened super powers! My power is that I can cut off others super powers" Asafa said, as his disclosing his last and final card.

"... I sssee, I lost before I even began!" Hamu realised.

"Asafa.... Why are you teasing this dumb snake..." Simba said while rolling his eyes, ready to head on.

"Don't say that brother... You should be the first to congratulate me, after all, if I didn't awaken my powers... We would all have been killed by the super snake." Asafa retorded with a teasing tone.

"Indeed your brother is right, the lion called Simba... Sigh, you really are lucky... Go ahead, kill me!" The snake said, finally giving in.

"Are all snakes brainless?" Imani asked while pointing a claw at the snake.

"Maybe snakes and panthers are related?" Asafa asked back.

So I've been wondering why my fanfic haven't been on the lists. All my previous fanfics reached top 3 almost instantly after I put them up.

I tried finding my fanfic but I couldn't Wich is weird because my fanfic have gotten more weekly powerstones than the second place for the weekly. But then I realised that you have to have more than 15,000 words released to get on the lists -_- fine, but then you also realse that most new fanfics only have like 2-10 released chapters and they have one "word fill" chapter....they're playing dirty, fine I'll also play a bit dirty. I only have 2 thousand more words to fill before this fanfic can be put on the lists.

So I'll just put in a comment I wrote that explains the psychological apect of what's going on in Simba's and Asafa's subconsciousness.

So I won't just put in just random words for a chapter, instead I'll put in something with substance, also this is an extra chapter for today so I hope that you won't be mad about this extra bit here.

Honestly, I'm a bit mad because I know that the quality of my worotnng is pretty good compared to most fanfics here. It's not something extraordinary but it is still good enough to get weekly top 1 spot. My superman fanfic had the weekly top spot for like 3 weeks, and was in the top 10 for almost its entirety except for when I took long breaks.

My Naruto was in the top 1 for a week then top 3 another week. And then top ten until I took a break. And anyone that writes fanfics know how hard it is to keep your fic in top 10 for two weeks in a row. That's why I'm confident that when this goes on the list and more people can see my fanfic, it will reach top 3 pretty fast. Anyways here's the comment that I wrote that explains somethings:

Oops... Never mind it seems like I can't paste it in, and I can't copy it from the comments section either, fine I'll try to write it again, or something similar to it.

The lion King is way deeper than most people think. Simba didn't escape the pride lands and his role as the next king just because of guilt. It was because he was a man-child that refused to grow up so he escaped to the land of immaturity where he could continue being a child with no responsibilities whatsoever. Timon and Pumba literary taught him to never face his past and there no point in it anyways.

So he never does face his past because that would also mean that he has to face his fears, the death of his father and to lift the heavy wieggt of being king, taking your place in society and doing your part of being someone of value. This can be extremely scary, and most of us have to deal with this when we are in the stage between childhood and maturity.

It isn't until Nala comes along and entices him with love, but he has to work for it, he has to mature, she won't be with a man-child, he has to become someone she can confide in.

Facing his fears and taking on the responsibilities that he have to carry, becomes easier as he have motivation for it now, Nala. Cloud-Mufasa is his subconsciousness telling him to let go of his guilt and take his place in the circle of life, to work hard, to have children, to grow old and to pass on.

As for Asafa, he wasn't born with his memories of his past life, he got them little by little, so for him Mufasa is his fathr, it's very real for him and when Mufasa dies he takes it hard.

Depressed people who commit suice leave behind family, near and dear that carry that suicide for the rest of their lives, feeling burdened by guilt always asking themselves if they could've done something, if only they had noticed. And they carry this guilt until they die, although it wasn't their fault the the depressed person died. It was because of a disease and the families and friends did absolutely nothing wrong.

For Asada it is similar to that because someone he looked up to and and loved died, someone close so he inevitably feels burdened by the fact that he should've done something since he technically is a reincarnated person.

I put a lot of thought I to this and he will overcome his guilt just as Simba did. Simba did it because of love, by facing his fears. How will Asafa overcome it? Read on to find out. And this should be a total of 15,000 words that I've released so far. Now hopefully this will make the lists!

I could've just released another chapter but I wanted to keep a few in stock. Thanks for your support!
