Kayla closes her eyes for a second and breathes deeply through her nose. Kol sniffs amused as he peacefully walks beside her. "Come on, love, if you're gonna run from a vampire, you need to be faster." "Oh, suck it," Kayla scoffs. Kol laughs, amused. Abruptly, Kayla stops running. "Darlin," asks Kol. Kayla looked surprised at the grill. The Asian girl, named Anna, hastily walks by the grill. Under her arm rests Gilbert's diary. Nervous, she looks left and right. "Don't do what I think you are about to do," growls Kol. "Of course" he curses. "Kayla, sometimes I am not sure that you can hear me clearly." Peaceful Kayla runs behind Anna. "Relax darling, I swear she will sense you." "I'm just jogging Kol" Kayla whispers. "Right" puffs Kol. She looks behind the corner for Anna, but the girl has disappeared. Groaning, she places her hands on her legs. "LOVE" sounds Kol's voice before it turns dark.

"Oh fuck" curses Kayla and groans as she sits up. "Easy now love" says Kol. "Kayla" sighs Elena. Kayla looked at Elena who was sitting on the other bed. Next to her sits a young boy. "They nicked you. I told you following her was a bad idea!" "Yeah, I know that now" groans Kayla. Elena looked at her. "I wouldn't. Don't try to escape. Don't even move. Do you understand" says the boy. "Don't tell her what to do mate, that's my task." Kayla scoffs softly. She looks at Elena who nods. Elena hastily jumps up and opens the door, but Anna is behind it. "Seriously Ben" shouts Anna. "I told her not to move! I did that eye thing you taught me." "You got to look inside her eyes and sense the vervain idiot" growls Kol. "You forgot the lesson about vervain". She grabs Elena. "She takes a vampire venom, duh!" "Is that what they call it these days," asks Kol not amused. "Who are you, what do want," asks Elena. Anna scoffs and pushes Elena into the bathroom. She grabs Kayla and pushes her in as well. "Woah mate" growls Kol. "Kayla are you alright," he asks. Kayla nods. Bonnie lay unconscious in the bathroom. "Bonnie Oh my god" whispers Elena and dives into Bonnie. "Three girls in a bathroom. I wish I was in the flesh. So much fun I can do now." "Kol" scoffs Kayla softly.

Bonnie blurry wakes up. "Elena, Kayla?" "Oh my god, you are okay!" "My head" curses Bonnie. "That's what I say when I wake up in a bad motel." "Kol" scoffs Kayla once again. Kol smirks. "Oh, my god! Ben is a.." "Sst" says Elena. "I was so stupid" curses Bonnie. "That we know" jokes Kol. Kayla rolls her eyes. "He had us all fooled," says Elena. "What's going on? Why are we here?""It must have something to do with the tomb and Emily's spellbook." "Spellbook?" "Damon said it can be used to open the tomb." What a tomb" asks Kayla. "Bloody hell" curses Kol. "That"s gonna be a hell of a party." "Why didn't I know about any of this," asks Bonnie. "Yeah me too" scoffs Kayla. "Trust me, love, you don't want to know about it." "I wanted to keep you out of it. I hoped this wasn't going to come to this." "Come to what?" "They need a witch to open the tomb. And you... guess you were just at the wrong place, wrong time." "Like I said" growls Kol. "Bite me" curses Kayla. Kol grins. Ben slowly gets into the room. "You are wasting your time, I am not going to help you," Bonnie says. "That's why she's here." He grabs Elena. "Motivation for you to behave. You know, you shouldn't be so desperate. You made it too easy." He pushes Elena into the other room. " She needs to talk to you." "Hey" yells Kayla. "Elena" yells Bonnie. "Kol" whispers Kayla. Kol groans. "Fine," he says and walks through the door. Kol walks back in, almost bumping Kayla. "She's fine, it's about the girl's mother. She is in there." Kayla nods. Bonnie looks at her. "I know what's going on." Kayla looked in shock at Bonnie. "You do", Kol and she asked at the same time. "You are trying to reassure yourself. All the time, tell yourself you are fine while you are not." Kayla takes a relieved breath. "You got me," she says. "Yeah, it's that or you got a ghost friend." Kayla fakes a laugh. "That's ridiculous. Bonnie just does "hmm" while looking at her.

"I'm leaving. Keep them buttoned down. Compulsion won't work. Just use violence" says Anna, while opening the door. "Right. I got that.Sit. Behave. You're the key to this. Literally. The one who opens the door. Tell me, how long have you been a witch", Ben says while pushing Bonnie and Kayla down on the bed. "Is there anything to drink here?" asks Elena. "Why are you offering?" Kayla swallows. Ben chuckles. Water is on the nightstand. " "Can I have a sip?" asks Bonnie. "Love backup," says Kol. Kayla swallows and slides backwards. Bonnie throws the water on Ben. It grows into hungry flames. "Holy shit," says Kayla, and she jumps up. "Fast," Bonnie says, and runs to the door. Before she can open the door, Stefan kicks in the door. Kayla screams and backs down. "When the sun goes down, leave town. If I ever see you again,I will kill you", Stefan says, and walks out with the girls. Kol chuckles. "Now that's my kind of move." Kayla chuckles. "Nice move" she jokes. Stefan looked at her. "I hope you guys are okay." "Of course," Elena said. "Nice speaking for yourself" growled Kol.

Kayla takes a deep breath. "From now on you listen to me understand" yells Kol. "Yes" Kayla answers slightly, butthurt. "Teenagers, bloody hell" he curses. "Originals bloody hell" she curses, mimicking his accent. Kol looks in shock at her. "I'll get you for that." "Can't wait" she says, and puts her tongue out. Kol chuckles and follows her to her bedroom. "Kayla get dressed, we are going to a party" yells Elena. "No thank you" answers Kayla. "Come on Love" blows Kol. Kayla smiles. "I'll be right down" she shouts. "That's for giving you a hard time" she whispers, and gets in the shower. "You and I are going to have a great time", Kol jokes.

Kayla swallows when she sees Damon walking toward them. "You just never give up, do you" asks Kol. He tries to hit Damon but falls on his face. Kayla couldn't hold her laugh anymore. " What are you laughing at," asked Damon. Kayla shakes her head. "Nothing, I'm sorry," she says with a big grin still on her face. Kol growls. "I'll get you for that. "You and me, that way," says Damon and grabs Kayla with her arm. "Hey, what's going on?!" He leads her to the old cemetery. Stefan waited there with the shovels. "Cleared the debris away. Set the torches as you asked. We can get down now." "What is that," asked Kayla. "Oh bloody hell, you got to be joking with me. This isn't a party, it's a funeral!" "Everything okay," asks Stefan. Kayla nods. "I just want this to be over with," says Elena and walks down. "Damon, do not hurt her please." "Sit down," says Damon and puts Kayla on the floor in front of the stone tomb door. "Love, this is magic. Whatever you do... sit tight alright." Kayla nods. "Promise?" "I promise" she whispers. "Earth, air, water, fire. Bonnie, her grandma says. "That's it, just water from the tab," asks Kayla. "As in opposite to what" jokes Kol. Bonnie gives her a soothing smile. "I just figured maybe it would have to be blessed Or mystical or something." Kayla looks up when Bonnie and her grams start to speak the ancient language. "What's that, Latin?" "It sounds like Latin" says Damon. "What's happening," says Elena. "It worked" laughs Bonnie and opens her eyes. Kayla looks at the open tomb. "You ready," asks Damon to Elena. "What?" "You think I'm going in alone so you can lock me in." "Don't take her in, I'll bring the walls down" says Bonnie. "You'll bring the walls down If I don't, you think I trust you?" "As much as I trust you," says Grams. "Enough! Both of you. Look, he needs leverage. He needs to know that you're not going to shut the door when he gets inside. I get it. I'll go" says Elena and walked inside. Kayla sighs. "Don't trust any of them, love, fair warning" says Kol coldly.

Stefan comes back from getting the flamethrower. "Where is Elena?" "He took her." Stefan wants to go in. "Don't" says Bonnie. "You won't make it out. Some seals keep vampires from entering. This one keeps them from...Coming out." Kayla looks at Grams in shock. "What? This was your plan all along?!" Sneaky witches" curses Kol. "I told you. I will protect my own. Elena can get out. That's all that matters." A loud scream from Elena echoed. Stefan runs inside. "Stefan" yells Kayla. "Love" says Kol, and steps behind her. "You cannot just leave him in there!" "He made his choice!" "No, You will bring the seal down Bonnie. I know you, you are too good to leave Stefan to rot in here. Do it!" "We are not strong enough. Even if we are able to bring the seal down, there's no guarantee that we can get it back up again." "Use me. I don't care. Drain energy from me but make them able to leave." Bonnie swallows. "I'll do it" she says.

Kayla smiles when Elena comes out. "Where is Stefan?" "He is right behind me." Kayla bites her lip. "Bonnie!" "We are fixing it." "Fixing what?" "The spell is still up we can't get him out yet. "What, you went in there knowing you couldn't get out?!" "I heard you scream." "We can't leave him in there. We promised him, both of us." "I didn't make a promise but I will not leave him in there" yells Kayla. "Love, the best for Damon Salvatore is to die in here." "I will not accept that," Kayla says stubbornly. "Even if we're able to break through the seal, We won't be able to hold it for long." Kayla looks at the dark hallway. "It's working. But not for long!" Kayla swallows. She runs into the dark tunnel.

"Kayla" yells Kol. "Kayla!" "No Kol don't, you won't be able to come out" she yells and turns around. Tears into her eyes. "I will I'm a ghost." "Yeah but a ghost vampire" Her voice sounds louder as wished, in the dark tunnel. "I stay with you." "Kol, I cannot leave you in here. I cannot do this without you anymore. Please. Go back now you still can. I don't want to leave you here." "Relax Darling, you and me... We are linked, remember. I will stay with you. And I won't leave you behind." "Promise?" "Promise." "Thank you" whispers Kayla and nods. "Thank you for caring about me darling" whispers Kol. "Always and forever" Kayla promises. This time Kol is the one with tears in his eyes. Kayla hastily runs into the tunnel. Kol shakes his head. What is happening with him?!

"Damon" yells Kayla. "Damon" she repeats. He stands heartbroken in the cave, surrounded by ten dead vampire mummies. "She is not here" he says. Kayla her heart breaks for him. "Damon we need to get out of here. "It doesn't make sense, they locked her in." "Damon you won't be able to get out of here soon. Please, just come with me." "How could she not be here" he asks. His voice was shaking. Kayla wraps her arms around him. "Come Damon, please" she says and wraps her arms around him."I know it isn't fair. And I understand you are hurt. But please, please come with me. They can't hold it for long and you will be locked here. Please don't make me leave you behind here. Damon, I am so sorry, I understand, but please. Come with me." Damon looked into her eyes. He softly nods. "Nice touch love" says Kol.

Kayla looks at Elena, Grams and Bonnie as she walks out of the tomb with her arm wrapped around Damon. Kayla nods to Bonnie and Grams, who close the tomb. "Damon, it will be okay. I promise" she says, and kisses his jaw. "It just doesn't make sense" he answers. "I know, I am so sorry Damon. I really am. But I promise you... You deserve better. I am so sorry Damon." She once again wraps her arms around him. He places his hand on her head and closes his eyes while his other hand locks behind her back. "Thank you Kayla" he whispers. Damon continues his way out. Kayla swallows and nods towards Stefan.

"Who's Kol" asked Elena straight forward. Kayla swallows. "What?" Kol curses, bloody hell. The echo. "You said the vampire ghost Kol. We heard it" says Bonnie. "I', you must have misheard it." "No bullshit Kayla, are you being haunted." "Don't tell me it is the Kol I think he is. Weird accent, little guy, blondish hair" asks Stefan. "Little," says Kol outraged."I will show you little Mary Sue vampire! I am tall! Taller than any other boys of my size." "He doesn't like you calling him little," Kayla says. Stefan nods. "Can, can we do this another time." "Tomorrow" bites Elena and walks into the car. Kayla swallows. Stefan gave her a soothing smile. "I'm sorry Kayla" he says softly. "For everything. But I... I really worry about you. Kol is not a good guy. No matter what he says." "I will rip your troth out for that" roars Kol. "You upset him," she says and turns to Kol. "Please Kol... Relax. We will figure it out, but I really need to do this another time. I'm tired", Kol looks at her. "I'm sorry love." Kayla nods and walks towards the car.

It doesn't take long before she drops herself on the bed. Kol came to lay beside her. "What do we do, love?" "They can't force me to remove the bracelet." "What if they do?" "I won't, Kol Mikaelson. I don't think I can spend a day without your company anymore." Kol smiles happily. "Kayla Gilbert... I really want to kiss you right now." Kayla smiles and turns to him. She lifts her hand. Kol holds his hand in front of hers. "Hold on Kol, I will find you. That's a promise." Kol smiles. "I will keep you on that."
