Chapter 24

Going through and scanning Sirzech's little DNA sample he left me, didn't automatically give me mind-boggling power right off the back that would allow me to wipe nations off the face of the earth like he could. No, even as I updated my devil markers and took what I could of his Super devil nature and tuned up my own nature, I only got his potential and would need to dredge out and work my inner magic to reach his level.

But the time of introspection was over, the whole of Rias's peerage and my creations were arrayed in a tight circle getting ready for the time that Rias was supposed to teleport back to the Underworld.

"Alright everyone make sure to be on your best behavior, the devil's press will be looking for things they can pull at to get a story," Rias warned us and we all nodded in response and then with a flash we were taken through a powerful teleportation sigil and before we knew it, we were in the underworld with Sirzechs's Lucifer and his wife seemingly waiting for us in the room we arrived in.

"Big Brother it's good to see you," Rias said smiling wryly as the older man began his whole overly doting thing which named him as a siscon.

"Oh, it is not absolutely a problem at all for me to come to see my sister arrive in the underworld after spending months in the human world." Sirzechs automatically replied as though Rias actually asked whether he had more important things to do and even the man looked stumped for a moment as he caught his mistake.

"Lord Lucifer, when is the rating game," I asked giving the man a way out and he sent me a look of gratitude and coughed before he began to speak.

"Ah yes, the rating game between my dearest little sister Rias Gremory and that... Riser Phenex will begin in exactly." He then pulled out a pocket watch out of his armored massive pauldron cape before returning it to his cape once he knew the time. "Ah yes there are ten minutes till the rating game, so you can say that you have all arrived perfectly in time, there is no time for the press to ask for an audience nor is there time for any other third parties to mettle as my friend Ajuka is already setting up the pocket dimension in which the rating game will be taking place in." Sirzechs happily explained winking at Rias.

'Huh, so that's why we had to arrive at this explicit time. Too soon and we get hounded by outsiders, and too late, we look like we are snubbing the event by only arriving at the moment of the game.' I thought giving some mental props to Rias's brother but then again, he was literally Satan Lucifer.

"Now good luck Rias, and the rest of you," Sirzechs said looking to each of his sister's peerage members in the eye. "I entrust my sister's happiness to you all, please don't let her down."

Everyone gave their own muttered reply or simply nodded that we would do our dammed best to win the rating game in front of us, but Artoria took it a step forward as she slapped her chest plate and spoke proudly. "Do not worry master's brother, I will save Master from the fiendish baby firebird." Then Artoria looked over and pointed at me and Kiba. "If anything, Master has perfectly adequate mates available to her that are loyal and care for her anyway, so this whole arraigned marriage is worthless."

While I face palmed at my creation's terrible social skills, I could still hear Sirzech's burst into laughter as Rias began scolding the completely oblivious form of Artoria Alter.

"Sorry Rias..." Kiba began putting on a solemn face, but it was such a poor facade as the knightly gentlemen held in his own chuckles it made me burst out into laughter as he finally spoke his own little joke and he himself burst into laughter. "But I only see you as my sister figure... Hahaha I can't even!"

As Rias stomped in her tennis shoes being embarrassed to death she yelled as she literally did the best thing someone could do if they couldn't just bury themselves into the ground and their skin was thick enough to take the teasing. "Moooh!" She yelled stomping over to me and then shamelessly used my frame which was the largest in the room to basically hide from everyone else.

"You guys' cant bully your king like this! Thats treason!" She yelled and I could all but feel the heat coming from her embarrassed blush from behind me and we all shared a laugh with even Grayfia unwinding as her husband had her sit down as we all took some seats to just relax before we all walked out into the game.

But all the fun and games had to come to an end as a buzzer went off and Grayfia stood up from where she was seated next to her husband. "I will be going now; I will be acting as the announcer for this Rating Game while Lord Lucifer will be watching from the stands with the other VIP'S and the participant's families." Grayfia spoke regally before she teleported herself to the announcer's room probably.

"Let's get the show going." Koneko said in her monotone voice as she slipped on some kind of MMA gloves.

"Yes, we are all ready for this battle." Kiba agreed also armed with a one of his sword birth swords.

"Am I supposed to pose with my spear?" Artoria asked raising her hand as Akeno was about to say something while wearing her Miko outfit and then I saw the priestess of lightning deflate as a couple sparks escaped her hands while Rias laughed at her friend getting cut off.

"No Artoria your fine." Rias assured her knight.

After a bit more talking and generally planning we were then captured in another teleportation sigil this one not of Gremory origin and then as we came out of the portal, we were met with the sight of the clubhouse's interior from back on Earth, but I could see from the window with its drapes being wide open that the sky was a menagerie of seemingly ever-changing colors.
