Roger had been training for a long time using the Instant Dungeon skill. And there was a good reason for that. He thought about cheating the Essence a bit. He knew that if he levelled up the ID skill, he would eventually unlock the Time ID. Why did he want that? He wanted that because he could make the time inside the dungeon run faster than the time outside. Let that sink in for a moment. This way, he could generate more SP without time passing as fast outside. It was genius.

And it really worked. The maximum time dilation in the Time ID is 5:1 right now. But that was already a lot. Imagine him getting 5 times the SP than he would normally. This meant that he got 5SP/second or 300/min or 18'000/h or 432'000/day. That was an amazing way to cheat the system. And the best part, he didn't have to spend one Skill Point to get to that point.

.

It has been about 3 years since the MC had begun training. He was now 8 years old, at least physically. Over the years, he has achieved a lot and his current strength shows that. But let's go over his progress one by one.

Year: 0, Month: 1

In the first month, Roger found out that he was making slow progress. He had managed to use the Instant Dungeon to the fullest but it was still only slow progress for him. He had difficulties using the experience of Gol D. Roger with his small body. He still hadn't unlocked Haki and the only thing that seemed to be getting slightly better was his regeneration.

He was unhappy with that progress. So what did he do? Well, he did the only thing he could afford at that moment. He created himself a bloodline skill. The best one he could at that moment that would help him train was the Hanma bloodline. Over the four weeks of training, Roger had collected a total of 2'420'900 SP. The Hanma bloodline came in different versions. Roger chose the purest one he could create.

The reason for this was that the Hanma were a family of fighters. They could seemingly train without damaging their bodies, they grew stronger the longer they trained and they had other skills as well. They were born to fight, similar to the Saiyans, but they weren't as expensive. Yuujirou Hanma had what is called the Demon Brain. He is extremely analytical, being able to decipher and fully utilize virtually any technique after seeing it once and knows over twenty languages. Yujiro also has an extremely in-depth knowledge of human anatomy, even more than skilled surgeons, high-tech x-ray machines or talented medicine men. He's able to use this knowledge to exploit his foes' weaknesses and make fights last longer.

So in order for Roger to grow up faster and be able to train the way he wanted, he chose the Hanma bloodline. The price for this bloodline was quite high. For the Baki one, he would have had to pay 2 million SP and for Yuujirou's 3 million. But that wasn't something Roger wished for. he wanted to have the purest and best version of the Hanma bloodline that brought him all the benefits he wanted. This cost him 7 million SP though.

So he chose to wait for his skill points to reach that amount and instead went for something different then.

[Sleep Healing: Rank D - 1'500'000 SP]

This was the skill from 'The Gamer'. After sleeping in a bed his HP and MP are restored and abnormal status effects are removed. In his sense it was all his health and his energy would be restored after sleeping. And to go along with that, he bought another skill.

[KO teleport skill: Rank D - 750'000 SP]

This skill allowed Roger to be teleported to a designated spot he had to choose as soon as he fell unconscious during or after a fight. Roger chose the empty dungeon as that place. This way, he could fight to his heart's content and when he fell unconscious, he would be teleported to the empty ID. Then when he woke up, he would be healed and full of energy again.

.

Year: 0, Month: 3

Roger's SP had risen to 7'428'500. He was now ready to buy the purest Hanma bloodline he wanted. So with a heavy heart, he spent 7 million SP and created the Hanma bloodline for himself. He could feel the effects and changes instantly. He could feel the energy flowing through him and his senses improved.

Roger felt as if he was in a constant state where he could begin fighting at a moment's notice. He was prepared at all times and willing to find a good fight. It was liberating in a sense. His senses, strength, reflexes, intelligence and strength of will all improved. And they continued to improve passively. So he wouldn't even have to do anything, he would grow stronger with time, but only very slowly. It wasn't like with the Viltrumites.

.

Year: 0, Month: 8

Roger could see the improvements in himself. He was growing more and more powerful as he trained. His limits seemed to increase each day, but it wasn't really anything special just yet. The Hanmas were still humans. The bloodline didn't grant the MC power, but potential. That was something he needed.

The MC finally bought himself the 'Observe' skill.

[Observe: Rank D - 3'250'000 SP]

The reason why this sill was so expensive was that it would allow the MC to see secrets about people when he levelled it up. Interestingly enough, the MC used the skill on himself first. And what he saw, surprised him.

He was SHIGEKUNI YAMAMOTO!!!! He was Yamamoto the whole time and didn't even realise it. He was so embarrassed and almost passed out. He just wanted to dig a hole and bury himself. But the embarrassment made way for joy in the end. He knew what it meant to be Yamamoto now. He would become OP even without the Meta Essence. But he could now deal with the plot armour of both Sosuke Aizen and Yhwach.

He couldn't wait to get an Asauchi and meet his Zanpakuto spirit. Ryujin Jakka was always an amazing Zanpakuto and one of his favourites, because of how broken it is and how the villains needed plot armour to have a chance. But that won't happen with him. He would grow far beyond these two guys and stand strong. Their battle would be legendary.

.

This revelation also told Yamamoto where he was in the story. He knew that he was about 3000 years before the story started. This was of course only a guess of his. He knew that Yamamoto from the story created the Shinigami Academy about 2100 years before canon and he looked like a middle-aged man then. If we go by looks, then Unohana was about as old as Yamamoto was in canon meaning Yamamoto had to be about double that age.

So if Yamamoto looked about 50 years old 2100 years ago and about 80 -85 during the story, then we can say that 30-35 human years is about 2000 years in Shinigami years. So Yamamoto had to have been born between 4000 - 3500 years before the story started. But that is of course only the guess of the MC. In the end, it didn't matter anyway.

What was known, was that Yamamoto encountered the Adjucas Ikomikidomoe before Asauchi were created. So he still had a few decades to centuries before he would get his Zanpakuto. Not that that mattered now anyway. He was growing more powerful already.

Year: 1, Month: 4

It has been 8 months since Yamamoto bought the Observe skill and he has been training dilligently. He has been working on his Haki as well as his swordsmanship. He can say that he has been growing stronger gradually. He unlocked his Haki finally and was on the verge of leveling it up to C-rank.

[Haki: Rank B-]

[Regeneration: Rank C-]

His regeneration had already levelled up to C-rank. There was a good reason for that, since he was almost constantly training and healing while sleeping. The regeneration was now equivalent to Regeneration - High-Low: The ability to regenerate severed fingers, toes, or ears, minor organ damage, and even potentially reattach lost limbs. So he was getting stronger gradually but still only slowly due to his age. He was 6 and a half years old, so he couldn't grow as fast as he could if he were fully grown.

There was a skill Yamamoto had in mind for a while now. Originally he watned to buy an adaptation skill but decided against it. The reason for that was because he thought about a certain Capted Baldy, Saitama. He thought about his shattered or removed Limiter and what that meant for him. It meant that if he could potentially grow indefinitely without even training. As long as he had any form of emotion, he would grow exponentially.

The people in the world of One Punch Man had something called a limiter. Now this limiter was different from other universes. Because if someone was able to shatter this limiter, they could potentially grow indefinitely.

Yamamoto was interested in that. He wanted to create the skill, Shattered Limiter to reach similar results as Saitama did. But ...

[Shattered Limiter: Rank N/A - 100'000'000'000'000 SP]

Yeah, it was expensive. The problem was that this skill was almost at the level of an Essence skill which was S-rank. The Essence of the Blank was just 10 times more expensive. That's how broken the skill was. So he had to have another idea on how to achieve this skill or something similar.

Year: 2, Month 5

Well, it finally happened. Yamamoto managed to achieve the level for his Instant Dungeon skill where he got a time-dilated dungeon.

|Instant Dungeon: Rank B

11. Time ID - monsters: none |

The current time liation was 2:1 and he had achieved what he had hoped for. His Meta Essence counted the seconds Yamamoto experienced and not the time the world of Bleach experienced. This opened some doors for him. He could now spend time inside the Time Dungeon to really stack up on Skill Points, while also training, or he could try and find another way to achieve a shattered limiter. And he thought that he had another idea.

In the world of Capitalism, if you wanted to buy a product you paid a certain price. But if you bought the ingredients it would be cheaper. So the work was something which you also paid for. This worked similarly for his Meta Essence. Meaning when he bought the skill Haki, he paid less than he would have if he bought/created the awakened Haki skill. That's because he had to put in the work to unlock Haki.

So going off that logic, if Yama bought the requirement that Saitama had when he began training, then he should be able to replicate his training and get to where he was. Pretty simple right? Well ... somewhat. It was indeed that way but how was he going to do that? The system was impartial, which is also why he could use the time dilation for more points, but it still understood the value of different skills.

So he had to be smart about this.

.

His Haki had leveled up as well.

[Haki: B+]

He was getting stronger due to his Hanma bloodline. But he was sure that his age was slowing him down. He was only 7 and a half years old so his gains weren't impressive just yet. But all in due time.
