It was a database.

Each of the entries in the database contained information about one person, including a photo of them and some background information on them.

The first person listed was her own father, Gu Yan'an.

This took Gu Nanyu by surprise.

One by one, she went through each of the entries. She noticed that there were two people she could not recognise.

The third name in the database belonged to a man who appeared to be of a mixed heritage. He was remarkably good looking with his eye-catching facial features. She did not expect to read that he was 40-year-old. He definitely looked a lot younger in the photograph.

For some inexplicable reason, the man looked familiar to her, but she was sure that she had never seen him before.

Gu Nanyu continued to read the database.

If she was taken aback when she saw Gu Yan'an's name, she definitely was not prepared to see the fourth entry in the database.

Staring back at her was a picture of her mother!
