Fu Beichen was lost in thought the moment he heard Yun Shen asking him to keep Gu Nanyu by his side.

This girl appeared to be avoiding him from the start. Her guard was always up even when she approached him.

It was evening by the time Gu Nanyu woke up. Realizing that she was lying on the coach at Yun Shen's office, she immediately sat up straight.

"Sh*t, I'm going to be late for school!"

"I've helped you to take leave of absence." Fu Beichen's cold voice rang out all of the sudden.

She really doubted that.
