Chapter 5 - Selfish And Cold-Hearted

Immediately, Gu Nanyu stopped in her tracks.

She had no intention to search for her biological father with the necklace. She could not afford to lose it because it was the only thing her mother left for her!

I must have lost it at the bar, or in Fatso and Fu Beichen's room.

Gu Nanyu was stuck in a dilemma. After a brief hesitation, she continued to run toward the Gu family's house.

Now, her top priority was to go home and stop Gu Dongxue from killing Gu Xiang'an.

When Gu Nanyu arrived at the Gu family's house, she immediately headed to Gu Dongxue's bedroom.

No one was home today as the young and old of the Gu family were off to attend a birthday banquet.

Before arriving on the second floor, Gu Nanyu could already hear the commotion coming from upstairs.

"Third Uncle, please let me go. I'll get pregnant if you do this to me!" Gu Dongxue could be heard sobbing.

"It's even better if you're pregnant. You can bear me a child!" Gu Xiang'an's evil voice resounded through the room.

"Please, I'm begging you…. You have already gotten me the last time. Don't hurt me anymore. Go and find my elder sister. She's still pure and clean, and she resembles my mom even more. Please let me go.…"

As the voice of Gu Dongxue pierced the air, Gu Nanyu's was dumbstruck.

"Sister? Since when have you gotten yourself a sister?" Gu Xiang'an asked, breathing heavily.

"Gu Nanyu…Gu Nanyu is my elder sister. She's a girl.…" Gu Dongxue was desperate to get Gu Xiang'an to let go of her. Consequently, she spilled the beans and revealed Gu Nanyu's gender.

"I see! Back then, my elder brother was eyeing on the family's property. That's why he didn't break the good news about becoming a father! Who knew that Gu Nanyu's identity as the eldest son was a sham too!"

How selfish can a person be? Gu Nanyu dared not imagine.

She had always thought that, in her past life, her sister killed her because of Fu Beichen.

However, she had never expected that her sister would tell Gu Xiang'an to go after her.

Gu Dongxue was still crying as Gu Xiang'an went on with his actions regardless.

Yet, that bit of warmth left in Gu Nanyu's heart had disappeared.

Standing by the window, she saw the lewd scene going on inside.

If someone were to be damned, it would be the both of them!

Gu Nanyu took out her cell phone and recorded the scene.

"Don't worry. Once I've satisfied myself with you, there's no way Gu Nanyu can run away from me!"

As Gu Xiang'an spoke, the action grew increasingly aggressive in spite of Gu Dongxue's whimpers.

She continued to observe without any emotion, feeling that she could no longer sense any tenderness in her heart.

Noticing that Gu Xiang'an was reaching the crucial moment, Gu Nanyu kicked the door open and flung a violent kick at Gu Xiang'an's protruding buttock.

After being kicked, Gu Xiang'an fell flat on Gu Dongxue.

As he was at a moment of arousal when Gu Nanyu kicked him, a part of him was bent. The intense pain made Gu Xiang'an yelp painfully.

Then, Gu Xiang'an fell onto the ground and wailed as he covered his crotch.

The face of Gu Dongxue was covered in tears as she struggled to get up from the bed. She pulled the blanket and wrapped it around her trembling body.

"Elder sister…elder brother…." Realizing she had used the wrong words, Gu Dongxue immediately corrected herself. Her entire face was covered in tears as she sobbed pitifully, "Third Uncle, he…he took advantage of me…"

If this happened in the past, Gu Nanyu would have lost it. She would even have the urge to murder Gu Xiang'an after seeing her little sister being exploited.

Yet, at that moment, Gu Nanyu had already discovered how selfish, cruel, and cold-hearted Gu Dongxue was.

She would not fall for it again.

Not everyone is born calmed and quick-witted.

Instead, many times we learn through our experiences and ordeals.

This realization...is harrowing.
