Flap your wings
Higher and higher into the great blue sky we went, the wind flailing my hair and the clouds looking fluffy and candy-floss-like. I clenched Vivian's hand tightly as we got further away from the ground. I then made the mistake of looking down, for the first time. We were so high off the ground I felt dizzy and faint. Vivian felt my grip loosen and tried to hold on tighter but within seconds I had fainted with fear. I was falling down to the ground and Vivian was trying to follow me. Inside my head I has slightly awake so I was trying to open my eyes and take control of my body again. After a little struggle, I awoke and realised the situation I was in. I was so close to the ground so immediately started fluttering my wings. I was a metre away from the ground when I had stopped falling and started defying gravity and flew. Vivian rushed to me and gave me a huge hug. It was a little shocking because she appeared out of nowhere but then again it's a lot like her to teleport everywhere. It did feel nice though to be in her arms, I hope that some day this will just be a thing and she'll hug me as someone more than just a friend. I guess that's just wishful thinking though. After a while of Vivian hugging me so hard I could bearly breath I finally said, " umm... Vivian, I can't... breathe." Wow for a skinny girl she is seriously strong.
"Oh yeah, sorry." She said as she let go of me and I gasped for oxygen. She then held my hand after a few seconds and let me know that we were going to be flying now. She then jumped and flapped her wings. In an instant we were souring through the clouds, as the wind flew through Vivian's hair I swear the world went into slow motion right then and there. She was so beautiful. She then told me that she was about to let go of my hand and that I was going to need to fly on my own. "What! Right now, I legit just fell earlier, now you are willing to let me go again." I yelled clinging on to her hand as tight as I possibly could. "Come on lily. Just because you fell once doesn't mean you'll never get back up again. Are you really going to let gravity and fear take over like that again. Like my grandmother always said, flap your wings hard like an eagle and saw above the mocking bird." She said it with such incredible inspiration in her eyes
"Was that meant to be an inspiring speech?" I said as she frowned in anger and annoyance. "I'm joking that was a good speech, but I'm still not letting go."
"Oh lily, poor innocent lily."
"Wha? I'm very confused no-" I screamed as Vivian shook me off. "VIVIAN!" Oh that sly bunny I should have seen it coming. I then fluttered my fairy wings and I instantly stopped there and then in the middle of the sky. I then yelled to Vivian," what do I do now?"
"Just think of where you want the wings to take you and push with your mind and tilt your body." She yelled from above me.
I did as she said and I was then flying up to her. Omg I was actually flying it was amazing. I finally got by her side and she dared me to go through a cloud, without thinking it through I flew to the nearest cloud and flew strait through it. I came out the other side soaking wet. Vivian was giggling and pointing at me. I had forgotten that clouds are just water so therefore if you go through them you will end up very wet when you come out. We flew for a few more minutes and then went down to the ground. As soon as we landed in a forest clearing I then asked Vivian," Vivian now that I can shape shift tomorrow can I go back to my dimension and see my sisters?"
"No you can't."
"WHAT! Why not?"
