Chapter 3 - Enough

"Ahh! Mooouu.."

With in the canyon that's only purpose was to keep a cell safe, their was only one way in or out. Massive metal doors, fixed to the side of a large canyon wall. Right now screams and fighting could be heard behind these doors, the sounds of rock and flames bursting from the other side.

Soon the door from each of its sides where the door met the stone and the center of the door started to leak water. The water coming from the door, turned into ice as it made the metal whine and bend. Melting away as the doors fell and hit the ground, throwing dust into the air.

"Finally, how far down did they have to dig? If I remember correctly, I'm pretty sure i couldn't bend until i got here, wasn't it a little much?" The man who walked out of the cave, stretched his body while talking to the spider monkey in front of him.

"What? I'm not that bad? Right?" Even if the man got no answer, the fact the creature crossed six of her legs, made him raise an eyebrow.

"Alright, whatever. Its been to long, i don't care about the walk to the surface. Nothing could take this moment away.." shaking his head at the spider-monkey, the man reached his hand up to his face and moved his long black hair.

The sun that only came out once through the overcast sky, was shining down on to his face and made his bright pale blue eyes shine. He couldn't even remember the feeling of the sun after so long, moving his hand down to feel his beard and hair. The wind picked up a little, blowing his black hair around as he took in a deep breath.

"I look like my brother now.. i really did age a lot." Feeling his long messy black hair and beard. He couldn't help but comment on the time that had passed.

"I didn't think it would feel like this.. but i can't stay here forever, how far is she?" The man shook his head at his sad thoughts and asked the creature, only getting strange sounds from the spider-monkey.

"10 miles! Really?! She sent you that far?!" Hearing the noise from the creature, the man looked at the spider monkey, seeing the sad look and picked the creature up.

"I feel your pain.. just tell me which direction.. you can rest." The mans voice became serious as he looked at the walls around him, getting a point from the spider, the man nodded and ran forward into the canyon heading west.

The water he took from the cave was used to make ice, it froze in front of him as behind him it was pulled back up. He did this for the next 2 hours, only stopping when he came to a thick forest tree line. The man looked at the massive trees as his eyes glow just a little, smiling he walked forward into the woods. Sun shine came through the leaves above, the shadows dancing as the man walked through and enjoyed the fresh air.

Not long after the man came to a clearing in the forest, the sounds of rushing water could be heard, hearing this he walked forward to see a pretty blue river and a mountain fall off were the run off from a waterfall fell.

"Might as well.. haven't gotten a real shower in a long time.." the man thought as he walked over to the waterfall. The spider monkey seeing this jumped off his shoulder as it sat by the water.

Making it to the water and placing his hand into it, bending the water in an arch while he stepped in, fully clothed. The shine of the water added with the arch caused the water to reflect a rainbow. His dark black hair giving it a beautiful mix of light and dark. His hair getting more of a shine as the dirt and sweat came out, while his clothes became soaked.

"How long do you plan to watch.. huh, Zhīzhū?" From the water the man called out, his head looking up at the waterfall with his eyes closed.

"How long did you know I was here.." Zhīzhū's sweet yet venomous voice said back, her being seen through was something she expected.

"From the time you placed the clothes on the shore.. your spider monkey makes to much noise.." the man laughed as he turned around to look at the woman, she sat on a large stone at the shore. Leaning against a tree behind her while her face was covered in shadows.

"Of course you did.. you haven't changed at all, Xue." The woman on the rock leaned forward as she got down from the rock.

Her long white hair which had strands tied up in a butterfly behind her head, her pale skin, black eyes, and large spider tattoo at the center of her chest. She let her long black coat fall, under that was a baggy robe like bottoms that was sleeveless with a strap, that went around her neck and covered her modest sized breast.

"Come, I'm sure you still haven't gotten any better." Zhīzhū Spoke as she walked into the water, walking over to Xue as he moved out from under the waterfall.

"I haven't tried but it is appreciated.." Xue smiled as he walked to a more shallow part of the river, sitting down on a rock as Zhīzhū walked behind him. Pulling his hair back as she started to braid.

"Where exactly did they bring me Zhīzhū?" Asked Xue.

"15 days from ba sing se.. they wanted you away from everything." Zhīzhū Spoke calmly even as she saw Xue flinch a little.

"You know she is still not convinced.. from what they.." her voice carrying a teasing tone, while she felt his muscles flex.

"Don't Zhīzhū, I don't want to hear it." Xue said as he felt her stop with his hair. She pulled out a knife and started to shaved his beard.

"It's not like you, to act like this.. 10 years have passed, do you know how she felt?" Zhīzhū Kept pressing the matter, shaving Xue while laughing a little.

"I said enough.." Xue spoke one more time, making Zhīzhū stop as a ice came up around the two of them.

"You can water bend?! How?!" Zhīzhū In her surprise, yelled a little and stopped her questioning.

"It doesn't matter.. for now, tell me of the others and my brother." Xue who was freshly shaved, standing as he turned to Zhīzhū, his rags for clothes falling as his tattoos were clear to see.

"*sigh.. from my understanding, they are.."
