Aska walked forward and pointed at the clearing in the dead center, "We pick that one!"

"What!" - All three were confused

"Hey! That's the worst place you could've picked" - shouted Takashi

Before Momo, or Tsuburaba could say anything, Ms. Midnight started to talk, "Aska Minamoto, you and your team are free to enter the maze!" It was too late to change their decision.

"*sigh*...*sigh* Here I thought we had the advantage since we got to pick first, but now I think we'll lose" - Tsuburaba

"And who's fault was that?! HUH?!" - Takashi shouted as he looked at Aska, who was leading the group through the maze but didn't respond. Momo thought that Aska had made a mistake, but she decided to follow his lead without question.

Walking through the maze, they didn't lose their way once and made it to their flag base in the shortest and most efficient route. Once they got to the flag base, Aska turned around and looked at his teammates. His eyes were glowing with fluorescent blue, and with a slight amount of killing intent, All three were frozen in fear while looking at Aska.

"Do you know why despite the fact that Minato, Tokyo is one of the safest places in Japan, there are plenty of heroes that still chose to locate there? Do you know why All might's agency is crowded with so many smaller agencies around it? There is one reason, all of the smaller heroes wish for a chance to team up with All Might. Taking down a villain with All Might will boost their popularity massively, even if it was just a team up on the fly. Takashi, Tsuburaba, tell me, what is your dream in the future? Will you be the heroes who cower in the corner? Or will you be the ones to benefit off of others' success?"

Takashi, Tsuburaba, and Momo looked at Aska with serious faces, with a hint of fear. Aska released some small amount of conqueror haki

"You see, regardless of how many new agencies open in Minato, Tokyo, All Might's position doesn't change. That's because number one is an absolute. They can do as they please, crowd him, corner him, or try any other trick. Number one is an..." - Aska trailed off

"Absolute" X3 - All three whispered in unison, finishing Aska's sentence.

Hearing their response, Aska had a small smile on his face and then turned around and planted the flag into the small hole in the ground, effectively making the place their home base.

A moment later the three teammates snapped out of their thoughts and started to do different tasks.

Takashi started walking around the base, looking for spots that might be good for attacking, or sneaking up on people. Tsuburaba was doing the same thing, but to find good places to defend from. Momo started to create equipment. Firstly she made heat vision goggles, and gave them to her teammates, except for Aska. Then she made barricades that blocked all the entrances to their base. She also made movement sensors that were planted around the base, and a devise to show her how many people are approaching. Then, on Aska's orders, she made a good amount of iron sand. Lastly she made tranquilizer guns and capture ropes for herself. She looked a little tired after that.

By the time they were finished, Ms. Midnight started talking again, "Alright students. Now that all of you have taken your places, the game will begin shortly. Just keep in mind, that if you break the maze walls, I'll slape you with a red card, and the whole team will be disqualified, other than that, everything else goes. And now let the second round BEGIN!"

Just as Ms. Midnight announced the beginning of the round Aska looked above towards a wall that was to his left 'If I'm not mistaken, he should've picked second. Did he pick close to me just to attack me? What an idiot'

A second later a boy was flying using explosions, catapulted right at Aska. Aska was unfazed, he didn't even move and calmly watched Bakugo flying towards him. And just before Bakugo made it to Aska, Bakugo was stopped in mid air, like he hit an invisible wall.

"What the hell is this! Fight me you bastard! I'll blow you and your sorry team to hell!" - Bakugo was being...well bakugo. Momo saw Bakugo attacking, she got flustered a bit and shot a tranquillizer dart at him. By sheer luck the dart struck his ass. Ten seconds later Bakugo was knocked out.

"Good work Momo" - Aska said as he walked closer to Momo. He took the gun from her and shot Bakugo one more time in the other ass cheek. Momo looked at Aska with a face full of shock. "Just to sure" - He said to Momo as he gave her the gun back.

Aska has the entire arena covered with his observation haki. He can 'see' everything happening there. Since Bakugo's flag was close by, Aska decided to go after his team first. Making a surf bord out of black sand, Aska steps on it and starts floating higher. Once he was above the walls of the maze, he sent a small amount black sand.

The other members on Bakugo's team saw the sand coming, but they couldn't stop it. The sand went around them, got to the flag, wrapped around the flag, and started to float away. Kirishima was the first to react and tried to grab the flag, but a lightning bolt hit him in the forearm.

A moment later and Bakugo's flag was in Aska's hands. Some of the smaller teams with small points were trying to attack him from the rear, but Takashi was more than enough to deal with them.

"Do you want me to steal their flags?" - Takashi after he knocked down the last of the intruders.

"No. I was first place, and Bakugo was second. We have the highest amount of points, there is no reason to bother with the small teams" - Aska

Looking up a head, Aska can see Sero swinging from one wall to the next, and Aoyama's blue laser was trying to shoot him down.

"Swinging using his tape, and using it to snatch the flags. That's a very good use of his quirk" - Aska decided to look else where. On the other side of the field, Aska can see Midoriya and Todoroki fighting. 'It seems the two of them decided to be neighbors but Midoriya is doing much worse than usual. Well the penalty for destroying the walls is disqualification, so he can't use his quirk' -Aska thought as he shook his head

Looking below himself, Aska can see two people trying to sneak into their base, a small wave of his hands, and small electric needles were lodged into their bodies casing them to pass out from the shock.

Suddenly a metal man came at him. Looking below, Aska can see beast boy, or whatever his name is. Dodging Tetsutetsu who was thrown by beast boy, Aska fires a lightning bolt at beast boy. The group down below dodged the bolt. Using his great climbing speed, beast boy climbed the wall with Kindo on his back.

Aska fired another bolt, and both of them dodged the bolt. Tetsutetsu had made it back to the area where beast boy and Kindo are. Tetsutetsu climbed up the wall and was thrown again towards Aska. Using his magnetism this time, Aksa stops him in the air.

"So what's your plane here?" - Aska said looking at Kindo

"Oh crap! He got me, I can't move! You guys run away, I'll stall him!" - Tetsutetsu shouted back at his teammates while suspended in midair

"He's using magnetism idiot. Just cancel your quirk" - Beast boy

"Oh" Saying that Tetsutetsu was able to break free and fall to the ground, just before he hit the ground, he used his quirk again as to not get injured from the fall.

"You haven't answered my question. What's your game plan here?" - Aska

"Well no point hiding it. The only way for you to lose is by the rules. If you break one of the maze walls, you'll be disqualified, and that saves us the trouble" - Kindo said with a sheepish smile on her face

"Your way of defeating me is to have me defeat myself? I dig that. Good choice." Aska sent a electric needles at them, the needles were fast enough to catch them off guard, and electrocuted them.

While Aska was talking to them, he sent a small amount of black sand to capture their flag.

After Aska gathered their flags, he went back to his flag. There were plenty of people that were attacking his base. Takashi was doing great, but he was by himself, and no matter how many soundwaves he creates, he can't shoot everyone at once.

Tsuburaba was also doing fine. His quirk doesn't let him attack head on, but he was able to stop many attackers. He was almost overwhelmed by the amount of students attacking, but Momo was able to back him up. Momo was mainly firing tranquilizer darts and sometimes a flash that would blind the people looking towards her.

After taking in his surroundings, Aska decided to get serious now. Filling his lungs with fresh air, and suddenly the sound of lightning claps echoed through the arena. And Aska's body was covered with pale blue lightning.

Aska then rushed towards the place with the most amount of students. It seems that some teams agreed to team up against him. His speech at the begging, and the way he disregarded all the other students, didn't make him the most likable person.

Blue lightning flashed, and Aska appeared in front of the students. They were a group of six students. With a kick he sent the student leading the group back into the others. Jumping up he landed in the middle of the students, he then sent another kick towards another student approaching. Twisting around he punched the student behind him.

Aska suddenly jumped up and ran on the walls using his speed, he reached the other side of the base in a second. Aska landed in front of the other group of five students approaching, and started a hand to hand combat with one of them. He was a boy with pink hair, his quirk allowed him to twist any of his joints in 360 degrees. He was good at attacking Aska from unexpected angles. But Aska can see and read all of his attacks.

With a series of punches, and kicks. Aska was able to neutralize the group of students. With another flash Aska appeared in another location. His speed, reflexes, spatial awareness, instincts, and over all strength was a cut above the rest, and it was very clear to everyone.

Aska started to put more power into his movements. He was fast, precise, and used the most effective way to neutralize any of the students.

Every time students heard the sound of lightning, they would be knocked out less than a second later.

Five minutes later, Aska was standing on top of a wall, beneath the wall were the students he delt with last, all knocked out. Lightning was flickering around him, and a heavy pressure was coming off of him. The only ones standing near his base, were his teammates.

The crowd loved it. They loved the flashiness, and the intense abilities Aska had. So most of the cameras were pointed towards him. The only other person who had some attention was Todoroki, for obvious reasons.

All the teams around Aska, which were seven in total, were all knocked out, and Aska had all of their flags. Looking at the screen high above, Aska can see that there is two minutes left, and he was in the lead by a huge margin.

Focusing on another place, Aska can see Todoroki fighting someone on one side of the maze. To Aska the fight seemed to be moderately intense, by student's standards that is. He decided to watch it. The students fighting weren't that impressive, but they were holding against Todoroki. The student seemed to have spring-like legs, that allowed him to bounce around. As Aska was watching, he can somewhat tell what the student next move was. The spring legs kid was bouncing all over the place. Aska kept watching, and his prediction were getting better and better.

Two minutes later and the second round was finally over. "That's it ladies and gentlemen. The a maze-ing round had ended. With a great show from all the students. But preforming well isn't all it takes in pass this test! Let's take a look at who our top 14 are. First place with the a huge number of points, team Minamoto! Second place is team Todoroki, third place is team Shinso, and lastly, just making into the third round is team Midoriya!" - Present Mic announced

Ms. Midnight took over and started explaining, "The fourteen students advancing into the next round are, Aska Minamoto, Momo Yaoyorozu, Kosei Tsuburaba, and Itoh Takashi. Shoto Todoroki, Tenya Iida, Denki Kaminari. Hitoshi Shinso, Mashirao Ojiro, Hiryu Rin. And lastly Izuku Midoriya, Mei Hatsume, Ochaco Uraraka, and Fumikage Tokoyami. With that being said, we will take an hour break, see you back soon~!"
