32-A Day Off

Next morning, I slept in. School gave us a day off to relax, and that's what I'll do.

Aska could hear the door knob rattling. Aska opens his eyes, he looks at his alarm, it was noon. Aska lazily gets up from his bed. He slowly walks towards his door, he unlocks and opens the door.

Aska sees Kaya standing in front of his door. "Good morning Kaya"

"Good morning, I didn't know you were here. I'll come back to clean your room later"

The half asleep Aska just shuts the door and goes back to his bed. He lays on the bed with eyes wide open,

"I can't sleep, I might as well use my phone" - Aska said to himself.

Aska spent over an hour on his phone. He got some text messages from some of his classmates, some were checking on him to see how he's doing, and others telling him to check the news. He also got some texts from Leox. Aska told Lenox about the villain attack and everything that went down.

Once Lenox read Aska's texts, he instantly called him instead of texting. On the phone Lenox tried to sound worried for his friend, but Aska could tell Lenox was jealous that he didn't fight villains like he did.

"You know, I could've lost my life right" - Aska

"Yeah man, I'm worried for you, who would've thought that villains, would be so bold" - Lenox

"I know right, I was surpri-" - Aska was cut off

"SO tall me more about that bird brain villain, how did you fight him, and are you serious about him having multiple quirks" - Lenox

"*sight* I'll show you what he looks like" - Aska put Lenox on speaker, then he used his phone to look up the news articles, took a screenshot of the villain's picture then sent it to Lenox.

"He looks super strong" - Lenox sounded amazed

"Yeah he was. Apparently he's some bioengineered anti-symbol of peace. He was supposed to kill All Might" - Aska

"WOW, You lucky bastard, you fought someone strong like that" - Lenox excitedly

"I almost lost my life" - Aska blankly

"And there were other villains as well" - Lenox excitedly

"I almost lost my life" - Aska blankly

"And you got to fight for real, not just training" - Lenox excitedly

"I almost lost my life" - Aska blankly

"Who am I talking to? are you dead? no you're not, stop bitching. So if that bird brain was bioengineered, who engineered him?" - Lenox

"How the fuck would I know" - Aska

"How did they give him multiple quirks?" - Lenox

"How the fuck would I know" - Aska

"You're a sucky ass hero, what do you know then?" - Lenox

"I know for a fact, that you're ass would have been handed to you if you were the one fighting him" - Aska

"HA! That was funny. I didn't know my friend was a comedian HA! HA! HA!" - Lenox laughed in an obnoxious way.

"HA! I didn't know my friend was a clown HA! HA! HA!" Aska matched Lenox's obnoxious laughter.

"Fuck you" - Lenox as he was still laughing in the same obnoxious way

"Fuck you too" - Aska said as he was still obnoxiously laughing

"All jokes aside though, I'm glad you're not hurt badly" - Lenox

"Thanks" - Aska

"So what are you doing now?" - Lenox

"Nothing much, I'll just chill home, play some video games" - Aska

"I, on the other hand, was just about to go to my girlfriend's house" - Lenox

"You have a girlfriend?" - Aska was a little surprised

"I knew you would say that. Knowing you, the girls in your class must be avoiding you huh?" - Lenox

"How dare you! I'll have you know, I'm a lady killer" - Aska

"Bitch please" - Lenox rolled his eyes

"It's not like I'll be single for ever" - Aska replied in a defeated tone

"Sure buddy, I'll root for you" - Lenox

"Anyway, enough about me, tell me what have you done so far in school" - Aska tried to change the subject

Aska and Lenox spoke about different things, school activities, the teachers in each school, their hero costumes, how did Lenox get his girlfriend, Aska will have a younger sibling, and a bunch of other things.

By the time they were done talking, it was 2 pm already. Aska walked out of his room and went downstairs to the kitchen.

"You're finally up, what made you sleep for so long" - mom

"I was chatting with Lenox, I was telling him about what happened yesterday" - Aska

"Oh poor thing, he must've been so scared, when you told him about the villains" - mom

"Yeah, he was really scared" - Aska. '*sigh* he was jealous he didn't fight villains'

"Do you want to eat something? Kaya made food, you should go to the kitchen and eat something" - mom

Aska walked to the kitchen, and started to look through the fridge. He found the food his mom was talking about. Aska served himself some food, and heated it up. While eating Aska was thinking about his day.

'What should I do? I could go train, or should I play some video games. I don't even remember when was the last time I had a free day like this' While Aska was thinking about his day, his phone made a notification sound.

Aska looked at his phone and saw a text message from Momo, she was checking in on him. 'I thought she was in the group chat, I'm sure she saw the chat I had with some of the others in the class group chat earlier'

Aska started to text her back, he also asked her about her condition, it turns out she wasn't injured at all, but she was sacred of the whole thing.

After about 5 minutes of texting back and forth, Aska froze with realization. 'Wait! Why didn't I realize this sooner! She told me that she is free all day today, and she was asking me about my health when it was obvious I answered that in the group chat. Is she just a nice person and wanted to check on me personally, or does she want to hang out with me, and that was her way of starting a conversation. Fuck you Lenox, it's in my head now.'

After that Aska took a deep breath and sent a text to Momo. "Would you like to hang out today, we can do something fun together". The message was red by Momo, but she didn't respond. 'What does that mean? Is that a no?' Aska was confused, but he could do nothing about it, so he just put his phone down.

A minute later his phone makes another notification sound. It was a message from Momo, she said yes. Momo and Aska talked for a bit more, they agreed to meet in 3 hours and Momo had asked Aska to wear a formal suite.

Aska walked to the living room where his mom was. "Mom I'm gonna go hang out with my friend" - Aska

"Sure." - mom

*silence*

"That's it, you're not going to ask who I'm hanging out with, or where are we going, or when will I be back?" - Aska

"No." - mom

"Ok...I'm gonna go get ready" - Aska

Three hours later Aska was waiting for Momo near a park they had agreed to meet at. Aska had on a dark suite that made his white hair and blue eyes pop more than usual, and he had his hair brushed back in contrast to his usual normal look, he looks much more handsome. Some of the people passing by where impressed by Aska's looks. Aska could obviously hear their whispers about him.

'I never thought about it before but I'm handsome in this life.' Aska thought to himself

Not long after there was a luxuries limousine that stopped in front of him.

The door opened and Momo looked at Aska from inside the car, "Get in Aska"

'I knew she was rich, but damn, a limousine just for her, I never got inside one before' - Aska kept a calm face as he got inside the car

After Aska got in, he looked at the driver. The driver was a female, who seemed to be in her thirties. Not long after Aska got in, the driver started to drive somewhere.

"Where are we going?" - Aska asked Momo

"Well, I wanted us to go to a fashion show that will be held tonight. If you don't mind" - Momo

'I had something different in mind for a date, but I don't mind. This could be a great opportunity to learn more about fashion' Aska thought to himself before he responded, "Of course I don't mind, let's go"

The drive there was quite at first, but Aska and Momo started to talk more. Their conversation went from small talk, to a full on conversation with laughter. Immersed in their conversation, Aska and Momo didn't notice tat they arrived.

"We are here young miss" - The female driver said

"Oh that was fast" - Momo

Just then, the driver got out of the driver seat and walked to open the door for Momo and Aska.

Momo was wearing a beautiful long dark blue drees. Momo held Aska's arm, and started walking into the venue. Aska was a little flustered at first, but he was able to keep calm.

'Act cool, you can do this' - Aska motivated himself.

Once they got inside the venue, Aska expanded his observation haki to cover the entire place. There were a lot of people in here. 'Hum? Who is that? They seem familiar to me' Aska had picked up on a presence that he had met before, but he can't quite remember who. Just as Aska was about to close in his observation on that person and get a more detailed image of that person, Momo brought him out of his thoughts.

"Aska, I'd like for you to meet my friend Shina" - Momo gestured to a girl wearing a white dress, with golden embroidery, she was the same height as Momo, had bright purple hair, and her eyes were also purple in color, she had a purple wings on her back, and she had bright red lipstick.

"Hello Ms. Shina, I'm Aska Minamoto" - Aska politely introduced himself.

"Hello Mr. Minamoto, pleasure to meet you. But please don't call me Ms. just Shina would be great"- Shina

"Then please call me Aska as well" - Aska

"Pleasure to meet you Aska" - Shina

"Aska, this is my friend her name is..." Momo kept introducing Aska to some of her friends, some were nice, some were arrogant, But Aska didn't really care about them.

While Aska was getting to meet some of Momo's friends, "I see you're here as well puzzle boy"
