Chapter 6 - Basics of a Ninja, Chakra Affinity.

Naruto listened to B's speech with attention, and his eyes were constantly watching the older Jinchuuriki's actions. It was as if even the smallest movement would make him fail whatever future actions he took.

With a serious expression, B's hands blurred, and Nauto's eyes shrank while feeling an overwhelming sense of danger. Scrolls suddenly appeared in front of B, and smoke came out of them.

Just as Naruto was preparing to fight, he saw that a few books appeared from the scrolls. The lightning that started flickering around his body suddenly stagnated and dissipated.

''So, these books are what you need to do for this month. We don't know why, but your body seems to be very special, as it recovers very quickly even if you ignore the Kyuubi sealed within you, ya. We estimated that it will take you a month to recover completely. Besides, I don't think it will take more than a month for you to finish all these books.'' B said while crossing both arms in front of his chest.

Then, he continued seriously, ''These books are important to your future, yo. Ninjas aren't made purely of fights, every action has to be carefully calculated so that no mistakes are made. We are giving you the theory so that when you start training by next month, you'll just need to put it to practice.''

''Your start will be better and faster, ya. You may be weaker than your peers as of now, but I believe you'll be stronger in no more than a week!'' B said with a smile while waving his hands, ''Just a small tip, I recommend starting with the book Basics of the Body and Basics of the Mind before going for the rest!''

Then, B disappeared with a swoosh, leaving only a blur.

After the older Jinchuuriki left, Naruto's eyes wandered towards the books, and their titles were as it goes: A Shinobi's Need: Basics of Chakra, Basics of the Body, Basics of the Mind. A Shinobi's Technique: Basics of Ninjutsu, Basics of Taijutsu, Basics of Genjutsu. [Note 1: Chakra, Body, and Mind aren't the same as Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and Genjutsu. The latter is a way to use the former]

Two categories, six books, each with at least a hundred pages filled with the most essential content. Naruto's eyes seemed to shine after seeing the books, he always wished to read books, but wasn't able to do so. Now, he had access to the best books available for his progress, how couldn't he be excited? [Note 2: This Naruto is different, as many already noticed. He is not the original Naruto, who was ''dumb'' and didn't like to read books]

Meanwhile, in the Raikage's Office.

B appeared in front of Ay's table, and so the Raikage turned to look at him, ''Did you give Naruto the books?''

The former nodded lightly, ''Ya, I gave him all the books. Just, do you think it's necessary to give him such advanced books? He doesn't know anything about Ninjas at all. bakayarou, konoyarou.''

Giving his brother a blank stare, Ay said, ''First of all, more respect towards your older brother. Second of all, this boy is an absolute genius, and I plan to create him not only as my own son but also as a successor.''

''Haven't you noticed? Every moment, every second, he is observing everything, trying to remember his surroundings. Didn't you notice that he was able to come to our office by himself despite only seeing the way once? Besides, he was able to control that weird Lightning power of his, and even understand how to use it without getting tired.'' Ay said with utmost seriousness.

''It's just natural for me to give him the best of our Village's resources. You think that he'll a month to finish the books? I think he'll take, at most, three weeks.'' Ay said with a serious expression, ''Like you, Naruto won't go through our Ninja Academy, but will pass through special training.''

In the end, Ay ended up sighing with a faint sadness, ''The boy is too damaged in his heart, if he goes to the Ninja Academy, where these little brats are learning, it'll only make the problem worse. In the future, I'll put him to work together with Darui and C.''

''Darui and C? Yo, they're almost 10 years older than him, won't he drag them down due to his young age, brother?'' B questioned with raised eyebrows, as he knew that both Darui and C were the most talented youngsters of their village, currently.

For his question, Ay didn't answer at all. For once, a smile appeared on his serious face, leaving B with extreme curiousness, but no answers.

Back to Naruto's personal training ground.

The young boy started reading the Basics of the Body, and his speed of flipping through the book was very quick, taking a minute or so for every page. And all pages were filled to the brim with very important content. It took Naruto around three hours to finish the whole book.

Of course, by finishing, it actually meant to memorize the whole book. Naruto's memory was always very good, and everything that happened after his birth was perfectly remembered by him. Next, Naruto was going to think about the book's content thoroughly.

It took him the rest of the day to master all information on the book. It seemed to be extremely exaggerated, but it was as if Naruto's brain was as fast as lightning, quickly mastering the information. [Note 3: No, this doesn't mean the Lightning Fruit changed his intelligence. It's just an analogy!]

6 days.

For six days, Naruto read the books non-stop, at the order of Basics of Body to Basics of Chakra, and Basics of Taijutsu to Basics of Ninjutsu. Just as he finished comprehending all information of the last book he read, Basics of Ninjutsu, he saw a white paper left on it.

Naruto quickly understood that it was the paper meant to test his Chakra Affinity, as he read about it on both the Basics of Chakra and Basics of Ninjutsu. Holding it gently in his hands, Naruto tried to mobilize his chakra, which was surprisingly smooth to do so.

Just as the Chakra came in contact with the paper, Naruto's stare became blank, as if drawn away by something. And the paper reacted to the chakra, the sound of thunder reverberated throughout the entire room, and dark clouds that surrounded the entirety of Kumogakure suddenly gathered together...
