Chapter 34 | admiration
after jo healed his teammates, he told everybody to take a little rest for a while.
while they are on their break, drake decided to elbow him and smugged to annoy jo.
"are you done flexing your healing **** banana head"
"i.. why are you calling me that? are you jealous?"
"no not really. but i swear i didn't mean to call you that or anything okay? like im urging to eat your hair and i don't understand why your hair looks like a banana when its messy"
"banana..?"
"bro, don't take what im saying so seriously. im joking and i don't know why i love to annoy people around. just get used into my sense of humor already hahaha" he scoffed.
"yeah right... i prefer having a messy hair. yeah its true, it resembles a banana obviously."
"and you see that ginger girl over there practicing her sword skills right in the middle of nowhere? oh yes, she is my sister-in-law."
"you dummy you can call me a banana head but you can't call her a ginger girl! thats too offensive." jo was in disdain.
"okay, okay, my apologies.. but who is she to you? do you know her?"
"she is my best friend and i wanna marry her soon." jo replied. "too bad she's still in 11th grade but ill wait for her. she's very talented and genius.. but don't you dare to say bad stuff to our dearest princess lina." he is proudly saying this.
"i know. i know her name. okay? yet i wanna call her-"
"bro don't do that to my future wife or else ill make fun of-"
"sure go ahead" he winked sarcastically. "future wife huh? ok im telling that to lina that you are inlove with her." the moment where jo admits that he really admires li that he wants to marry her soon, drake can finally use this as a blackmail.
"oh yeah? shut the **** up flame drake"
"ok banana light"
they would tease each other but they'll remain friends.

li decided to practice her sword skills again since she have a feeling to train herself so when everybody came after her and she knows how to defend herself and make everyone fear her. her house is quite near to the supersquad headquarters, even superheroes can see her elegant fighting skills outside but she didn't notice that her brother-in-law and her best friend are watching her.
"i wish i could spar with jo one day.. but i don't know if he can fight. maybe i could spar with kat instead since she is a superhero and knows how to fight with intelligence, of course." li decided to go back inside and check her friends what they are up to.
li likes to fight when everytime she encountered random fighting scenarios in her imagination. if she knew jo's secret identity, she would be very happy and confused at the same time. she hates superheroes but likes them secretly.
well one day, if she became professional in fighting techniques then she could help superheroes defeat her ex-friend who can't move on from her. even if she always say that superheroes are a nobody to her, she could show how much she likes them secretly.
