Snow Wind Family Main Hall

This is a very spacious hall, decorated grandly. Chairs and tables were neatly arranged. And there were already a lot of people even though the event hasn't started yet.

Ye Xinghan sat on the west side of the room. He was tasting some snacks and appetizers that were already served.

'This Fanged Rabbit chowder needs more herbs to neutralize the smell of the meat. The combination of cocktail fruits is unbalanced. Also....' Ye Xinghan wrote down the minus of the dishes in his notebook. His appearance was just like a food critique, making it quite a funny scenery for everyone around him. Of course, he paid them no heed.

Suddenly, something crashed at him at a very high speed, catching him by surprise. Ye Xinghan fell with that thing together and rolled on the floor.

'What the f*ck was that?' As Ye Xinghan was ready to launch a lot of curses, he saw the perpetrator.

She was a slightly chubby little girl with light purple long hair. She has big round eyes and a small nose. And right now, she looked at him with a smile beaming on her cute face while sitting on his chest.

"Big Brother!" She has a crisp and lovely voice. (If you know Milim from tensura, I imagine she has the same voice.)

"Qingyu?" Ye Xinghan twitched the corner of his eye. This little girl must be none other than this body's younger sister, Ye Qingyu.

"It's me, do you miss me??" She hugged his head and rubbed her face on him.

"What are you doing?" said Ye Xinghan as he stood up and tried to remove her, but she stuck at him like an octopus.

"Qingyu, your brother is just recovered. Restrain a bit of your action." Ye Xinghan looked over and saw his father, Ye Xiao entering the hall. He walked over and reprimanded Ye Qingyu with a stern voice.

"But, it's been days since the last time i saw big brother." Ye Qingyu said while pouting her mouth. She still hugging like a koala and didn't intend to loosen it even just a bit.

"Dear husband, just let them be. You know how much Qingyu loves her brother. These past few days she kept crying, asking me to return home. I had quite a headache." A gentle voice came from next to Ye Xiao. Ye Xinghan just noticed a mature woman standing there.

She has long blue hair that stretched all the way to her waist, it looked smooth and silky. Her beautiful face, slightly slanted crescent brows, misty eyes, and gentle light pink-colored lips could bewitch the soul and contain an indescribable charm.

Her figure is alluring to the extreme. A snow-colored ribbon is tied around her willow-thin waist and the white robes covering her chest look so round and full it is as if something would burst out of its trappings at any moment. The buttocks beneath her slim waist are also rounder and firmer. Her entire body was dripping with a kind of allure and charm that ate away at both bones and souls.

'Is she my mother, Lu Yingmei? Geez, she looks damn beautiful. And those melons are so big..' Ye Xinghuan was stunned when he saw his mother.

"And you don't have to force yourself to come into this event. Rest more so you can heal faster" Lu Yingmei continued while patting his head.

"Un un, mother is right." Ye Qingyu frantically nodded her head. Then, she hugged Ye Xinghuan again from behind.

Ye Xinghuan got short-circuit in his brain. He was totally confused about what happened. Earlier, his sister cannonballed him, making him fall. And now he got hugged here and there.

Ye Xiao just stood there silently. It seems that this kind of thing was not the first time it happen.

"Haha hahaha, Ye Xiao. Your family is still as lively as always." A booming laughter sounded, it was from Ye Zong who just enter the hall.

"Big brother, sorry for making a scene." Ye Xiao scratched his head and awkwardly laughed.

"It's alright. I agree with sister in law. Siblings must have a great bond with one another, I want my kids to have a relationship like yours. Ye Xiao, don't be too stern with children" Ye Zong said while giving a pat on Ye Xiao's shoulder.

Suddenly, Ye Qingyu's ears perked up. She let go Ye Xinghuan and stepped in front of Ye Zong while hissing. It looks like a cat that wants to intimidate its enemy.

Ye Xinghan confusedly followed her line of sight. And it falls on the girl hiding behind Ye Zong's leg.

The little girl has a bob haircut with deep purple hair. Her eyes were lavender-colored. She looks like a little porcelain doll.

And right now, she looked at him happily while slightly wary of Ye Qingyu.

'She must be Ye Ziyun, right?' Ye Xinghuan thought. Ye Ziyun, the original novel main female lead. Superb talent, but a tragic backstory. In the future, she will lose all of her family and everything that she wants to protect.

'Since I'm here, and since I'm her family too. I will do my utmost to protect this family.'

'But the problem is, why my sister looks at Ye Ziyun as if she were nemesis? Don't tell me, I got...'
