Today, almost all of the highest figures within The Snow Wind Family gathered.

The City Lord, Ye Zong suddenly issuing an emergency meeting.

This was unprecedented because unless the city was in danger, he had never using the privilege lightly.

And they had no idea about demon beast horde or something similar.

But, since he issued an emergency, then something big is going to happen.

The members that was being called immediately put down their activities and rushed to the City Lord mansion.

The moment they arrived, the City Lord just told them to wait for a while.

Before long, they saw Ye Xiao brought his son as well as an unfamiliar girl.

They could only looked each other with bewilderment in their eyes.

After all, this was an important meeting that was supposedly only attended by mighty figures to kept the highest secrecy.

So, what does a child doing here? Much less there is another stranger that wasn't even a part of the family.

They could only threw glaring eyes at Ye Zong.

Ye Zong understood their meaning, they were impatient because curiosity.

"Since everyone has gathered, let's officially begin this meeting." Ye Zong said with dignified expression.

But everyone was puzzled by his next sentence.

'Me? Why me? Hello, there is my father right beside me. Are you just conveniently ignored him?' Ye Xinghan thought.

Everyone shared the same thought as well, except Ume who was trembling from nervousness and and on the verge of crying.

'Ye Zong wanted to test me! But for what reason?' He thought.

Then, Ye Xinghan looked around the room, he noticed nothing out of place.

"I'll try keep it short since everyone here is busy.

When everyone had already calmed down, they began muttering with each other. Finally, the vice president Ye Sheng stood up and cupped his hands towards Ye Zong, "City Lord, the Holy Orchid Institute will do our utmost to nurture this girl. I believe this is the best solution for now."

"Ye Sheng, what are you talking about? My son found her first, so its only natural that I will accept her as disciple. No, FOSTER DAUGHTER." Ye Xiao shouted as he threw a cup towards Ye Sheng.

Ye Zong looked at them and took a deep breath to relax his mind.

When he calmed down, he focused on Ume and said

"Little girl, from now on you will become one of us, the Snow Wind Family."

"And I hereby declare that you are to be bethroted to"
