1 Book 1 - Chapter 1: Train

On a sunny day, at the train station there are a lot of people here, some have entered the train, some are still ordering tickets, and some are looking here and there, it looks like it's their first time riding a train.

When the train arrived at the station, many people got out and those who were waiting for the train started to go inside.

I don't know why there weren't many people on the train today because usually the train is always full making people jostle, but not this time.

I sat in a seat on the train, and I also put my bag on the seat because no one was using it.

Then my cell phone rang because of an incoming call, I looked at the cell phone screen, it was a call from my mother.

"Hello ma'am? What's up?"

["Hello son, where have you arrived?"]

"I just got on the train mom"

["Oh well then, be careful when you get off the train, check your luggage first, I'm afraid I'll miss it."]

"Yes mom, I'll check 5 times so I don't forget. By the way, how is mom's condition after the surgery?"

["Thankfull now mom is healthy, thank you son for paying for mom's surgery. Even though the surgery is very expensive, you still have money for daily expenses, right?"]

"You're welcome mom, after all this is already my duty as a child, and there's still plenty of money for everyday life, mom, just calm down."

["Thank goodness for that"]

["Hello bro Areka, don't forget to buy souvenirs for me"]

There was a very cheerful girl's voice.

["Hush Airina, don't request your brother so much"]

"Hahaha, it's okay mom. After all, Areka has also bought souvenirs."

["Really bro? Hooray, thank you my big brother"]

Her voice of excitement is exactly like a child, even though she's already in high school haha. But I'm so happy that my sister is happy.

"Hahaha yes you're welcome, where is Andika by the way?"

["I was here earlier bro"]

When I just asked the boy's voice had answered my question.

"Oh yeah? Then why did you just speak up hahaha, how was your lecture? Was there anything difficult?"

["Nothing is difficult bro"]

"Hahaha my young brother is really smart, by the way, I have a gift for you"

["Gift? What gift, bro? You don't have to insist on giving me a gift"]

"Eyy who is forcing, this is really PURE not forcing. You must need a laptop for college, right? I bought it for you so that you don't have to wait for your turn to borrow the school computer."

["Where is it, don't listen to Airin, bro"]

["Okay"]

The phone call has ended, I'm so glad my family can always get along like this. Although we have gone through many trials such as poverty, debt, and illness.

By the way my name is Areka Putera, I am currently 28 years old and can already be called Ahjussi, only this is not in Korea LOL, I work as a corporate slave in a fairly large company.

As the eldest son, I worked to pay off the debts left by my father, treat my mother's illness, and pay for my younger siblings' schooling.

I've worked so hard that I've always forgotten about soulmate relationships because my first priority has always been my family.

And now that there's a long vacation, I want to go home by train, as well as refreshing from work.

Since there wasn't much to do on the train other than sleep, I opened my phone and read a web novel.

This is my hobby, to unwind after work, and my favorite genre of novels is fantasy, because the fantasy genre always has various new things that don't exist in this world, if I become a writer I can write various things in the fantasy genre.

My favorite web novels are ORV, TBATE, and LoTM. I really fell in love with those novels.

"Hey look" no sooner had I read my favorite novel than someone shouted.

There was a loud roar of thunder, everyone was very surprised to hear it and looked out the window and I did the same.

When I looked, the sky was completely covered in dark clouds carrying purple lightning bolts.

"How strange, the weather forecast says it won't rain today"

Another loud thunderclap sounded in the sky that surprised everyone, the black clouds made a terrible vortex. And at the point of the cloud vortex somehow the sky remained clear. The vortex point was right in the middle of the train tracks and this train was heading towards the vortex point.

The lightning rumbled again but the rumbling was very long this time as if it was charging energy and the earth suddenly shook, a strange object appeared from under the ground towering into the sky.

The train is heading towards the alien object and it looks like there will be a collision, the people inside the train are full of panic and some people start praying to their respective gods.

But before the train arrived at the collision, the black cloud that had only been rumbling now emitted the most powerful lightning, the lightning struck the foreign object from the underground and made the surrounding objects blown in all directions, even the train that Areka was riding was also blown away.

Many people were already unconscious from the accident, and Areka who could not bear the pain began to close her eyes.

But before she closed her eyes she could see from outside the window, the foreign object that came out of the ground was now towering above the sky like a tower, even now the top of the tower could not be seen.

'Sorry mom, looks like I'm leaving first'

Those were the last words in his mind.
