A boar of a time...

[author's note I have created a new, more beautiful system. Added to an excel based stats system, this will mean some stats will change. Basically, it is a lot of stuff so I can only focus on the story. It took me much longer than I thought to do. The releases will be random for a while, sorting life stuff out. Guys, there will be errors point them out. ]

"All that effort for nothing, Pepa! You are the one who said I should go back and fight that stupid boar. No, I don't want to hear it." My bones have new cracks all over them. After fighting the same boar for eight agonising hours. I have achieved nothing. It's not even dead, just a little hurt and I'm almost out of magic power. I never imagined the disadvantage would be this large. I need to figure out a way to damage it from range. This is a weakness I didn't think I would need to solve so quick. Like undead, I need to be in a team.

I walk mumbling to myself the curse that prevents me from using the necro force. Is also the reason I can't just dominate the low-level spirits with my spirit domination. Thinking out loud, "There are many kinds of death realm entities if I can't use necro force. I can use my own soul power as a substitute. I just need to fill it. The problem is that is extremely waste unless..."

I run towards the portal with the low-level undead. Using my true sight, analyse them quickly.

🔹Languishing Soul 🔹 Ghost type🔹

Info: A spirit suffering from stillness. The spirit will never change.

Description: This soul, as in life, is lazy.

Potential: 2

I'm looking for a specific spirit.

🔹Strong Soul 🔹 Geist type spirit🔹

Info: The spirit of a young person who still believes he can become a soldier.

Description: Died defending his home from orcs.

Potential: 7

They have to be young, beautiful women killed by a jealous man, preferably someone they completely trust. My true sight lets me see their potential.

🔹Tortured Soul 🔹 Wraith type spirit🔹

Info: A female spirit killed by her father.

Description: The violent nature of her death has left a scar on her soul, affecting her growth.

Potential: 5

The spirit wanders about a bit, but now that I found it. This tortured soul is the best of the lot. The only thing is to bring the boar here to them. Thanks to the Heart of Atla, I have over two hundred magic power.

🔅Heart Of Atla🔅

Rarity: Fate Relic - sealed [Common Relic]

Info: The Heart of Atla World Render. It is said to grant the holder unimaginable strength.

Description: A fate relic is the highest level of Relic. Cannot be stolen. Cannot be dropped. Will transfer on death.

Properties: Adds 8 stats points, doubles regeneration. All other effects sealed.

I start by pulling her towards me. The tortured soul hates men. But that is perfect as it follows me away from the portal. Having a powerful general will increase my power. The wonderful with a tortured soul is what I can do as a Lifeless one. The change will give her Unlife. This means I can also focus on my physical skills while she handles the magic one.

The fight isn't really a fight, as I am trying to capture her. The Tortured Soul is mad with fury and rage, blinding her to the simple kiting tactic I'm using once her health is at its minimum. I start my work using 💠Domination💠. My magic coils around her, around robbing her of free will, I'm abiding her to me. This will make her a part of me and also let her grow as I level up. I'm not looking for an Independent High spirit.

The Domination passive ability shouldn't be used the way I'm doing it, however, if I bond four generals. Each being a different undead that I can twist to Unlife will let me build legions around them. I use my other ability to link her to my soul through 💠Desecration.💠 I remove most of her undead. Transferring it to Unlife is a two-to-one loss, but the changes are magnificent. She regains her old body, fresh face and beauty.

I'm stunned as the process continues beyond what I expected, now that the 🔅Heart Of Atla🔅 has changed the nature of my magic. It doesn't allow me to make her husk. I watch the complex spell working. It adds personality and other stuff I don't quite understand. The process is something I need to understand more, but it won't stop since one thing about a soul linked minion is that they can never betray their master.

This is a fantastic little change, as it will affect my skills later on. This is will add dynamism to my magic that I can hopefully take advantage of. With her, by side, I should be able to defeat that fucking boar, but first, we need to harvest some more spirits to build her up back to level one. That will take sixteen souls. This is to compensate for the lost unlife, this will also allow me to harvest some skills for her. And hopefully some clothing.

I don't understand it myself. She looks almost alive and only her eyes give her away. Has long auburn hair, a thin waist and a lovely bottom. 'Am I attracted to her?' That wouldn't make sense. She is dead. Unlife is not undead, I know this, but having never been alive, unlife is just a different type of existence. Our existence just shares a lot of traits with the undead. Also, for now, she is too stupid.

As a part of myself, I can feel she is incomplete. I want to increase her wraith abilities so I will be specifically hunting other tortured souls. This process takes much longer than I thought, as the wraiths are rarer than most types of spirits. The first Passive I am able to salvage for her is Spectral Step. This skill allows her to float and adds a certain amount of phase. This will allow her to move through challenging terrain relatively unbothered.

She growls with each skill she is getting closer to being complete. She is a new type of Unlife spirit. I have never heard of a war wraith, but I'm excited to see what it does. Unfortunately, I know that I have to get her a weakness. From the fragments of skills, I am collecting; it is clear that unless I come back later when she is much stronger, being at least level twenty-five without a weakness, I can't give her the very skill that wraiths are famous for.

So I have a decision to make which is pretty simple. I get her the trait of Unholy Weakness. As I am also weak at holy damage. I plan to avoid humans for the part. I'm sure that I can survive in Moribund. Instead of this waste, I can go to the height of undead society and try my best to grow in power in the academy. Plus There should be all kinds of undead I can decimate there.

Now I am going to abuse my skill of decimation, we can further break the various skill fragments down to create an original skill. This is extremely wasteful, but I would rather do this for her, as it will give enchantment. This is similar to a passive however, an enchantment comes from me. It is like a blessing I can give. I am sacrificing a skill slot but I can always get another slot when I level up.

The enchantment Echoing force doubles the amount of summons and gives them a fifteen percent bonus to attack. I choose to make this skill because one of these bastards had the skill fragment for it. This is an extremely rare type of skill as it helps across the board. Best of all I can assign it to each of my generals. This will be a massive boost for when I have to participate in invasion into the living world. It is a shame I can't make it affect her attacking skills, having a double strike this early would be brilliant.

"CRWQ!!!" She burst with excitement and raw power. She is only one skill away from being complete. She looks a lot more aware looking at her body. Grabbing her breasts, it is like she is exploring herself anew. She looks me getting closer she rubs her hand under my chin, pointing at the boar.

"You want us to fight that!" I really don't want to do that again as a level ten it is incredibly tough for me. Right now. She doesn't slap but tries to get her point across. I guess she is mad at me, because I could have used life force to not give her a weakness at all. But I had no way to beat the Boar. She crackles, throwing a spirit attack at it. The wave of purple energy slices in the side. It roars, coming straight at me...
