31 The Cursing Princess
"Do you see that small cave up on the cliff?" Snow Princess pointed up a mountain from the forest floor.
"Yup. So the big bird treasure eggs is up there…" Xia Shishu's eyes sparkled as he looked up at the cliff.
"Indeed. There are a lot of gems as well as eggs that are similar to the size of footballs!" She explained so that Xia Shihsu would get familiar with the situation. It's too bad that she might not be able to hoard all the eggs to herself even if she teamed up with her friends.
If possible, she wouldn't even want to share the eggs with Xia Shishu. But after considering the strength that Xia Shishu had shown, it should be possible to get the loot with his help. She couldn't be too greedy.
"You said there was a big bird. Are you sure it is violet?" Xia Shishu asked one more time.
"Uhhh. Yeah? Why do you keep asking about that anyway, huh?" Snow Princess inquired. It seems to her that this fool only really cares about the violet bird while the treasure eggs came second.
"Well, I have a quest to capture a violet bird." Xia Shishu explained.
"Oh, damn. F*cking lucky ain'tcha. I can barely get any good quests in the village. Most of them are kill this, kill that. Collect this, collect that." Snow Princess ranted off her mouth.
To which, Xia Shishu ignored. He could tell that she couldn't stay silent for ten minutes without cussing once.
Seeing that Xia Shishu was unresponsive, Snow Princess continued with the explanation of the situation. "Last time, I tried to sneak in to steal the eggs, but I couldn't because the big violet bird flew towards the cave and screeched at me. I ran and tried to hide, but the birds in the surrounding areas suddenly came and attacked me."
"Okay. Continue." Xia Shishu kept his eyes on the cliff as Snow Princess described the situation.
"The violet bird's height is half mine, and if my assumption is correct, the bird should be in the cave right now guarding its eggs." Snow Princess spoke, trying not to emit any important information from her explanation.
"Just one?" Xia Shishu was worried that there would be two big birds up there. Their threat level is unknown, so maybe he can only take one on at a time.
"Just one." Snow Princess acknowledged. She had been camping here for quite a while, and she had only seen one.
"If that's the case, then let us go beat up the big bird and plunder its nest!" Xia Shishu pointed at the cliff that's about 15 meters off the ground.
"You crazy!? That bird can be a BOSS monster! Shouldn't we just lure it out and secretly steal the contents?" Snow Princess tried to reject Xia Shishu's proposal.
"No. I need to capture that violet bird." Xia Shishu rejected Snow Princess's rejection.
"Fine. But you have to do the fighting as I can't do sh*t!" Snow Princess became a bit salty due to the fact that she didn't have much say in the party. But if the boy really wanted to find trouble with a potential BOSS monster, then so be it! She's not going to have any of it, though!
"Wow, okay. You're kind of useless, huh." Xia Shishu gave her another disdainful look.
"F&@# Y!%!!!" If her face was drawn, Snow Princess's face would be red in anger and steam would be coming off her head. For SOME reason, the boy here really gets on her nerves!
Again, Xia Shishu ignored her cussing and went towards the cliff and began climbing it. As there were vines to help him ascend the cliff, the climb wasn't that hard.
The only thing he was really afraid of is if another big bird came flying in and beat him up before he managed to get to the cave. He might have to deploy his super logout skill if that is the case and abandon the princess who's right behind him.
"Can you climb faster...?" Xia Shishu looked at the cursing princess and urged her to catch up. She was climbing quite slowly.
"This is the fastest I can freaking climb! How the hell are you climbing so fast anyways!? What are your strength and agility stats!?" Snow Princess felt her chest caving in. This boy is so annoying!
"Uh, like 50 something each? I'm around the under average group. So you must be in the below-average group?" Xia Shishu thought about it and told her his stats, and described himself accordingly to how his system had rated him the first time.
"Pei! You're such a liar! All beginners start off with 10 stats each! Do you think I'm dumb!?" Snow Princess nearly vomited virtual blood after hearing the Immortal Little Turtle. Nobody's stats can be that broken at this stage of the game. Perhaps it's all due to his unique modern equipment, i.e. the tux and crossbow!
Xia Shishu stopped talking after hearing the girl, neither acknowledging her nor disproving her. Normal beginner stats are around 10? Thinking about it, he didn't really want to check up on the normal stats back then due to being angered about not having skills. If anything, it's his own fault for not being diligent in being informed.
Actually… he did find it quite odd that his damage is so high, especially when he was fighting the chickens during his first quest. It's just that his childishness had prevented him from seeing the truth.
Nevertheless, if his Second Reality stats really began with his real-life stats, then doesn't this make him around level 20 or 30 in Second Reality?
Regardless, it seems to him that his eyes are just being opened for the first time… He needed to experiment more about how he could better play Second Reality.
"Finally reaching the top." Snow Princess climbed up and sat on the ground. She then closed her eyes exhaled, looking a bit exhausted. "Oh yeah, be careful because-."
"Holy sh*t! You're a fu*cking cheater! I'm going to report you to the Second Reality A.I.!" Snow Princess's shut eyes became wide-eyed at the boy in the cave, holding the big violet bird in a chokehold!
Xia Shishu stared at the big violet bird in his arms and held it tighter. This was his chance to confirm his brokenness, and it's his chance to capture the violet bird!
When he climbed to the top just seconds before, he spotted the big violet bird guarding its nest with viciousness. However, since he wanted to verify if his stats are truly broken, he activated the Treasure Choker and managed to stun the big violet bird.
Because his choker will compare his stats with the big violet bird's stats, he would be able to tell right away if his attributes are legit or not.
With a bit of surprise, the bird became stiff. This indicated that his strength is at least twice that of the bird!
Since his experiment worked, he swiftly ran to the bird and held it in a chokehold in an attempt to make it unconscious.

Snow Princess stared at Xia Shishu in a moment of silence before erupting.
"REPORT! REPORT! I FOUND A F*UCKING CHEATER!!" Snow Princess shouted to the sky with all her might. Because they're in the same party, she naturally saw the prompt which showed the battle log.
However, that was really shocking in itself! How the hell can someone kill a Unique Monster maxed at level 10 for the map within seconds!? Furthermore, with bare hands!
"NO!!!" Xia Shishu shouted along with Snow Princess. The level up prompt didn't even faze him at all because he had already tasted what it's like to kill a unique monster.
"You're going to get BANNED!" She said, thinking that he was regretting cheating in Second Reality. She detests cheaters the most!
"Wake up!! Wake up!!" Xia Shishu grabbed the Violet Featheress and shook it back and forth, only to see it unmoving. As for what Snow Princess is saying? He had turned a deaf ear to her because of all her cursing! The only thing he could think about now is how to complete Niu Qiqi's quest.
He had accidentally killed the bird! He had only intended to make it fall unconscious with his strength. It really does seem like his stats are broken! It's not just his ability to bring things in and out of Second Reality!
[Ding! Player report had been received. No abnormality found.] A voice sounding very similar to Xia Shishu's System Dream, sounded out in the cave.
After hearing Second Reality, Snow Princess became dumbfounded, and she pulled her hair.
No abnormality found? No abnormality FUCKING found? It can be saying that the b*tch who killed a level 10 unique monster in a beginner map isn't an abnormality!? Where can she become that f*cking broken!?
[A/N] Big apologies to all those who're waiting for updates. I'll be truthful here. Although I feel that this novel has many great points, I did not plan it out very well, thereby making it difficult for me to continue writing new chapters.
As I kept on writing these new chapters, I felt as if I'm just walking blindfolded. I didn't even know when I will find the end or if there will even be an end.
And sometimes, when I write these chapters, I would write some things that shouldn't have been in the story. For example. . . The System was suddenly called Dream for no apparent reason.
To compensate for these faults, I tried to find new ideas by making starting new novels that I don't even intend to finish.
I really wanted to continue this novel, but as I type, it always came to a stop.
I just wanted to update everyone that I'm not sure if I should continue this novel.
