Life Of A Young Author

Klein, a high schooler who has been locking himself in his room ever since he lost his best friend. His mother never bothered pushing him to go to school. Since he had nothing to do, he started writing novels online. He got a lot of 5 stars reviews but somehow his book is never 5 stars! He needs to look for the comment with no 5 stars! He continued writing until his fifth book was published online. Suddenly, a reader of his reaches out to him and wishes him luck with his new book. It was normal to him but when he checked the person’s account, he saw their past comments. Turns out they had commented a lot on his book and he reads every comment written by them. He was shocked to find the person pointing out his mistake and their opinion on his book. Not a full 5 stars review! Never once he felt hurt by review until this person appears. K: Do you mind if I offer you to be my assistant. K.DMed.ME: O.O? And that...is how Klein made his first friend. ~ Warning: Contain(s): slight bl Not so good English triggering topics ~ Criticism are welcome in the comment section!

"Do you know what's my problem with you this time?"

"...No-"

"Mr Klein. You enter a club but never attend any club activities. Do you want demerits?"

"...Sir, I forgot I join club-"

Mr Kris sighs while massaging his temple. How can this child forget he joined a club when every student in the school needs to join a club? Klein actually even forgot what kind of club he joined this year. What he remembers is that he would always change clubs every year ever since he was in middle school.

In his defence, no interesting club has ever existed in any school he enters. He did think of creating his own club but he himself had no idea what club he should create.

"You join the Discipline club."

"...What?"

"You really did. See?"

"I joined a club that I never knew existed?"

"...yeah."

~

He had to go to his club activities while his friends went home without him. Well, they had to attend club activities once a week then, the other days, you can go home at normal time.

They did their club activities without telling him.

Betrayal.

Han and Woo Young are both in the Reading Club while Louis in the debate club, Hana in sewing club and Edward in track and field club with Laurel.

Jamie…

Don't even ask, we know the student council is too busy for a club.

Klein still wonders what the h*ll is a Discipline club. He opens the door and the people inside stop doing their job. One of them even dropped the files in their hands.

"Klein?"

"...I am surprisingly in this club-"

"KLEIN! WELCOME TO THE CLUB! I AM WEN! THE CLUB PRESIDENT! WE'RE THE CLUB THAT WORKS UNDER STUDENT COUNCIL AND HELP THEM MAKE SURE OUR SCHOOL ARE CLEAR FROM CRIMES AND FILLED WITH PEACE!"

Klein looked to the side before looking at the president again.

"So…We're the student council's eyes?"

They all nod and one of them throws a vest at Klein. Well, he was supposed to catch it but as you all know, he's too lame for the cool stuff. He let the vest hit his face.

"S-sorry. That is our uniform. We don't need to wear school blazer but use that instead…"

Klein picks the vest up from the floor and examines it. There's the discipline club logo on it and also the school logo. At least the vest doesn't make him feel hotter than the blazer.

"You weren't here for the past eight month and when you enter school again, we don't want to make you more stressed so…we didn't include you in our club activities…"

Klein removed his blazer and when he was about to wear his blazer, he heard someone's camera click. All of them look at the junior who blush in embarrassment.

"S-sorry."

They wait for Klein to say something but the guy just wears his vest and puts the blazer in his hand. The president cleared his throat and gave Klein his duty.

"Every evening, you're allowed to go home early but in the morning and lunchtime, you have to walk around and make sure the school is in order. Make sure the students follow the rules and…you're set. Also, just go to us or the student council to report anything."

Klein was about to ask something but rather, a strict looking woman stood up and looked at him.

"It would be best if you don't break any rules or we will give you demerits instead."

'The Discipline club's vice president, Mia.'

Klein gives her a thumbs up and they all start to walk around the school. Klein grabs his bags and leaves. Well, they didn't say checking the school area in the evening is important and they did say you can go home early. Right when he was about to step out from the school, Jamie pulled his collar.

"... didn't know you were part of the discipline committee."

"...Me too."

"...You have to do your first task today. I will help you."

"...But I am tired."

"..."

The students who stay for club or the students who are on duty are staring at Jamie and Klein. Jamie is dragging Klein who's trying to run to the school gate. When they heard a noise, they heard two girls talking inside one of the school storage rooms.

Jamie opens the door and looks at them with his serious face.

"You two. Students are not allowed to be at school this late if they're not attending club activities."

"So what? We're not leaving!"

Klein stopped moving and went to the two girls.

"You two need to go to your club or go home."

"No- OUCH!"

Klein drags them by pulling their hair and when they're out of the room, Jamie locks the storage room. They both leave the two girls there and Jamie continues dragging poor Klein to walk around again.

"...He touched my hair…"

"Mine too…"

"I am not washing my hair."

"That's nasty you idiot.

I am going bald and will keep the hair."

When he's done with his duty, Jamie apologises to him by bringing him to eat noodles somewhere. He doesn't need to do that actually but knowing Klein, he will tell Jamie that he needs to apologise to him.

They order the same noodles and the waitress smiles at them.

"Twins really have the same taste, huh?"

"..."

They both stare at the waitress before nodding to her statement. Well, she didn't mention them and that is the right thing so they had to agree.

They wait for their meal in silence which causes everyone around them to think that they're shy. Well, if only they knew. The food arrived and they both ate it again, in silence.

When they're done, Jamie walks Klein to his house before waving him goodbye.

"...It's better for you to check around the school every day so that you can get more merit marks. Goodbye."

"...Um, a simple goodbye would do…now I have to do my duty while thinking about merits marks."

Han: Looking good, boss! I never knew you're in that club!

Klein: …do you think I know that I chose this club?

Han: Hah! Pretty 'lucky' don't you think?

Klein: F*ck off.
