Kevin again

Not aware that his unintentional actions had just pulled the fate's plans for a new protagonist on a fast track, Ali followed Liv and Shashi for another round of roaming around shopping before finally planning to go back home.

"I'm never taking you out shopping again." Ali said to Liv, who was busy patting Shashi, who was tired and sleeping on her laps.

"Tired so soon. I followed you around for years, you know." Liv said, without taking her eyes away from Shashi.

"Well, there's no need to guilt trip me over shopping you know." Ali said with some helplessness in his voice.

Liv smiled seeing his expression and didn't pursue the matter any further. "I asked my friends to look for her parents, I'll tell you if I find something." She said, changing the topic.

"Hmm, I doubt it'll be that easy." Ali replied.

"What do you mean?"

"Just a guess. I contacted Ghost to find news of her background this morning." Ali explained, causing Liv to furrow her brows hearing about the top hacker's name regarding such a small matter. Ignoring her surprise, Ali continued talking "With her skills, I should've gotten all the reports by now, but …"

"You mean she didn't find anything too?" Liv asked feeling a little surprised.

"I think so." Ali said with a sigh, already accepting that learning something which even the system was hiding won't be so easy after all.

"So what do you plan to do with her next?" Liv asked, her brain turning in gears of theories and scenarios of every possible outcome she could imagine.

And as a pure villainess, none of those scenarios were pretty.

"Nothing. She'll live with us until I find something." Ali replied in certainty.

"Why don't we just ask her a few questions, even though she might not remember or help much, atleast we might get some info if we keep trying." Liv replied.

"Nah, it'll only make her sad if we probe all the time. And besides, she's cute and fun, what's wrong with having her around." Ali said.

"But maybe someone sent her…"

"Liv. She's four. She doesn't even know how to speak her own name properly. What can anyone get after sending her to us? Maybe it's just a coincidence." Ali replied in a certain tone. In no mood to continue this conversation.

"Fool." Liv said and looked away, lost in her thoughts, until her eyes landed on something that caught her interest. "Stop the car." She said after pressing the switch on the microphone.

"Look at that. It's your little wild dog kicking a few clowns." She said pointing out the window, where a fight was taking place at the roadside.

Ali followed her gaze and found Kevin beating a few people. A small crowd was watching the drama, enjoying the show Kevin's fighting skills put on for free.

"I still don't know where he learned all that. He's quite good." Liv said, watching as Kevin grabbed one man the the neck and continued fighting another man with only one hand.

"I can do that too." Ali said, hearing the little impressed tone in Liv's words.

"You_ can do _that?" Liv said doubtfully, trying to control her laughter while pointing at Kevin, who jumped over one man's knees and gave a flying kick to the other man, causing his teeth to fly out in the air.

Hearing the doubt, Ali turned to look at her face and explained. "Of course I can. You just haven't seen me fight."

"Ohh, by fight, if you mean getting your ass handed to you in a battle ring, until your only friend had to jump out and save you from passing out, then right, I really haven't seen it." Liv replied with some amusement.

Cough cough

Ali coughed hearing about the embarrassing past experience when he visited one of shiva's clubs, explained in a hurry, "That _ that was just cause I wasn't feeling well that day."

"Ohh, what about a few days ago then, nearly went into surgery after fighting him, you know?" Liv said, feeling amused seeing his fake bravado.

"Hey, who's team are you even on." Ali said in annoyance.

"Why don't you just accept you can't fight? It's not a big deal you know. Not like there's anything I don't know about you." Liv explained, ignoring his question, causing Ali to go silent again.

"Humph, you can think whatever you want. I'm not gonna argue." Ali said, as he couldn't explain that he got his skills after system came online.

Liv just smiled seeing his reaction and turned her attention back to the fight, especially to Kevin, while thinking 'Sending goons to kill him would be hard, unless I can send atleast a dozen or so armed with guns or other stuff. Maybe I should ask a sniper around his house too just in case.'

Unaware that his villainess was cooking up plans to cook the protagonist, Ali just took out his phone and did what every good citizen should do.

Call the police.

He didn't have to an expert on villain drama to know who was troubling the protagonist at this moment. It was either the guy whose nephew Kevin beat a few days ago in his colony, or the minister's minion whom he insulted yesterday at the meeting.

Both people looked like a mob villain to Ali, and not a challenge for someone who could literally wish for anything. So instead of helping them, Ali just chose to create some drama instead.

'If this idiot is seen causing too much a rockus everywhere, would that police heroine still think he's a good guy.' Ali thought with a smile and shrugged his shoulders as he watched Liv looking at him with a not so understanding expression.

"What..? You see the traffic and commotion he's causing. It's only right of me to call the police." Ali explained without her asking and watched as Kevin held a table cloth and tied it around two people's necks and sent them flying in the air, God knows how.

'Can I really do that too?' For a second he couldn't help but doubt himself too. Before looking away, as his attention was drawn to a girl on the side of the crowd, dressed in the uniform of career high college.

'Have I seen her somewhere?' Ali thought as he felt her familiar but couldn't remember where.

"Let's go."

While Ali was brainstorming, trying to get a clear look on the girl at the road, watching Kevin's fight with an admiring look, Liv blocked his sight and ordered Emily to drive away.

"What were you looking at?" She asked, turning her focus back on Ali.

Seeing her expression that gave the villainess vibe, Ali averted his eyes instantly and smiled embarrassingly "hehe, who me_ nothing. Just weather. It's quite nice, don't you think?"

"As long as it's just weather." Liv said and scoffed before looking away.

As the car of Ali drove away, the police vehicle came to that street soon, and watching the broken stalls and stuff as Kevin heroically stood there patting his hands after beating the 5 stupid idiots who came to trouble him, they directly handcuffed him, along with others and threw them into back of the jeep and took them away.

Sadly though, there wasn't the police heroine Ali wanted to do this, but just some random lazy fat and arrogant police officers. Maybe that's why they didn't talk bullshit asking cause and reasons, and just dealt with it whatever they thought was right.
