I was laying on my bed and staring at the fan, a fan that took the beautiful moments of my life, not just mine but the life of my family too.

Now I can walk without the help of walking aids,

My physiotherapist came daily for my sessions.

I was recovering at a swift pace.

My family was so happy about my recovery, and so do I.

My father wanted me to complete my medical degree.

I didn't want to go to that university again, but I agreed just for my father's wish.

Now I am studying at my university again in my 4th year.

My old friends and teachers were all gone.

There were new friends and new teachers now.

The remaining 2 years passed in a blink of an eye and I started my house job.

After my house job, my parents wanted me to marry.

"Meesha! My daughter, I think it is the best time to marry you", my mom said.

I replied "I don't want to marry"

My parents said that they would be more than happy if I would marry.

I said" I would tell you when I want to get married"

2 years passed; my parents again started talking about my marriage.

I did not want to hurt them anymore.

I agreed to marry.

I said, ''I owe you guys, I will marry anyone of your choice, I will not even see him or talk to him''

My wedding preparation started,

Everyone was so excited at home, but the only person who was emotionless was me.

I was neither happy nor sad.

I looked happy from the outside but I was shattered from the inside.

I was just marrying for the sake of my family's happiness

I just wanted them happy, and they all were happy.
