Chapter 4

It was evening...

I decided to halt and rest at a spot near the river again. Although this expedition was not fruitful, I had no choice but to return towards the river. This was the first night of the other world.

As i approached the river, I began to think about the possibilities that could happen at night time. The sky was turning more and more reddish by the minute.

I finally reached a spot a spot near the river and quickly took a sip from the fresh water. The water made my soul calm and refreshed my body. I sat back on the soft grass. The soft blades of grass tickled my legs. It was refreshing.

The sky became darker. I thought that it was time for night to come. I waited for the sky to be it's darkest.

Suddenly, a blue-ish circle appeared behind the mountains. I was shocked. I stood up and started staring at the circle.

They say thoughts excel light in speed and they were right. Numerous thoughts raced through my mind.

"Frick", I said. With thoughts such as 'What is it, is it dangerous, what do I do if it's harmful...', it was difficult to remain sane.

I could do nothing except stare at the circle and hope for the best.

I stared and stared, waiting for something to happen... but nothing happened.

After waiting a little while more, I sighed in relief. The circle was not dangerous. Instead, it was giving light.

Over time, the circle emerged more and more from behind the mountains. The blue-ish light illuminating from the circle made the grass glow faintly. Seeing the blue-ish light given off the circle being reflected back by the blades of gras was truly magical.

It was after a while that i understood...

It was the 'Moon' of this world
