4 Development

Arriving at Winterfell,what greeted me was my uncle Benjen Stark leaving because he couldn't handle death anymore. He felt that he wasn't needed anymore because he was 3rd son as he wouln't inherit anything plus Brandon and Rickard's death affected him.

Uncle Ned became sad that his last brother wanted to join the night's watch. But my arrival slowed my uncle Ben.

"My father died, I didn't receive any paternal affection. Now that I am in a safe place which I could call home, both of my father figure is leaving me. My fate is quite ironic,"-I started convincing my uncle Ben. Luckily it bore fruit when I told him that I have some plans for the betterment of North which needed my whole family together. Reluctantly he agreed.

The situation at Winterfell was not that good.The sewage system sucked which gave immense bad odor.Even our economy wasn't that good.As there was immense cold and snow everytime,we couldn't even make food of our own.Almost every foods and grains were bought from either the reach or riverlands at a fucking high price.As our money was used mostly in foods, there was not enough money to develop our lands. This is why my first aim was to change that.

With the knowledge I gained from my previous world and the books of Dorne, I told both of my uncles that some type of crops and grains could survive in the cold temperatures which could make our food problems lessen a lot. Thankfully my uncles loved me and also loved my plans. Even if there were any type of negative comments done by Lady Catelyn, my uncle Ben would just retort her and support me. This resulted in a slight benefit in our food problems.

Uncle Ned took me to almost everywhere with him to meet the lords of the north for further alliances. I told all of them about the food problems and the fact that apples,carrots,cabbages and new type of grains could make us survive in the cold weather in North which led me gain a massive support of those lords.

On my 7th name day I together with ser Brynden Tully and Rodrick cassel,master of arms, found a ruin of our House Stark where there were golds,Iron,2 or 3 million of gold dragons.We sold those golds and Iron and earned quite a bit of coin. I guess this is the gift which that ball of light spoke of. With this money I told my uncle to enhance the sewage system and to create taverns and to extend the castle of winterfell along with the lands.

Then the problem arose, we needed labour to maintain the lands, for agriculture and last but not the least to repair and enhance the castles.But as people had an understanding of the situation at the north that we don't have money or we can't feed our own people, they didn't want to come.That is why I told my uncle to write on my behalf to send a letter to King Robert. I told him to send homeless men and women to be sent to North which resulted in a heavy gain of labours.

Soon our winterfell castle was one of the biggest and beautiful castles in westeros. Due to my idea of grains and crops, the food problems reduced a lot. Almost all the houses had foods. Even my enemy the House Boltons thanked me.

I gained the respect of all the Houses in the North.On my 9th name day my uncle called a meeting. In the meeting, I gave a proposal to all the lords.

"My Lords of the North, as you know that we are making a good progress in our development of the North houses, I suggest that we all work together. I want house Ryswell to breed horses. The northern horses are very sturdy.They have a lot of stamina. I want lord of House Ryswell to breed horses and sell them to all over westeros to gain money. In the meantime, lord of house Manderly you will prepare warships around 80 to 100 and add it into your fleet. To build those ships you will need a lot of gold dragons which will be financed half by Winterfell. Lord of house Bolton, I want you to breed cows,sheeps so that we can get meat and leather. Almost all of the houses including house Stark will breed cows because it gives us meat and milk which is necessary for our survival.

Uncle Ned, you will repair and enhance Moat Cailin. I already sent a design of that castle to maestar luwin. That will be all my lords."

Thankfully, all the houses obeyed my words.Now the whole north is prospering. I invented Vodka, whiskey from my previous world knowledge. Soon all over westeros the vodka and whiskey became famous and it earned us a huge amount of coins per moons.

The North became prosperous day by day. I allowed spies to get news that winterfell was now one of the beautiful and biggest castle in Westeros. I also send my own spies all over westeros to send information that the air around North was good and pleasant. There were no food problems. Soon people started to leave their own land and started living in North. There were no shortage of works so it was a benefit for us.

Since my 6th name day, I started practicing swordsmanship from Rodrick Cassel. I used to wield 2 swords in both of my hands. At first I couldn't wield it. My right hand was fast where as my left hand couln't cooperate with it. But as I practised more and more, it came in handy. My dual wielding was different from my uncle. I used one sword for attacking and one for defending. I switched my attacking style so that no one can understand how I will attack.

When I was just 9 name days, I defeated Rodrick cassel. I peaked out and saw my uncle Ned and his Son Robb Stark seeing my spar. My uncle told me my dual wielding reminded him of my late uncle Arthur Dayne, The greatest swordsman he ever fought and won.

The castle of winterfell had six guard towers, thick walls. The people were quite happy that they were protected. In my 11th name day the construction of Moat Cailin was finished. My design of Moat Cailin had 11 Towers. The castle was huge than even the previous design. Only the castle of Winterfell could now rival it.

There was an Earthquake that created a wide canal from Bite to Blazebay along the Fever River.The earthquake 'unluckily' destroyed the sept of Winterfell and White Harbour that resulted in people saying that the old gods were angry. People started converting from Faith to Old Gods which I happily anticipated. I followed the old gods because they didn't take money for rituals or didn't need sacrifices. They also supported polygamy...... As a result, I had the old gods in my heart.

Due to the canal, I told my uncle about my idea about creating Stark Fleet which would have the largest ships in westeros among them. I planned to bring 'Black Pearl' and 'Mary Rose' in existence now.

Thankfully William Dustin,Lord of house Dustin was living now. This timeline had William Dustin and Howland Reed both living. I appointed Lord Dustin as my army commander if I was absent.

I went to Bravos with Lord Manderly and my uncle Ben to visit Iron Bank for loan and trade. The canal benefitted Essos the most. They could reach sunset sea safely. It also reduced their time alot than going around Dorne.

The Iron Bank understood that and gave me a loan of 4 million gold dragon without interest. I introduced leather,wool,fur trade to them which gained us a source of another income.

An iron and coal mine was found by House Reed and House Flint. Now I was sure that it was a gift by the ball of light.

I told my uncle Ned to create 2 gates in both sides of the canal which would be under his control when he becomes the Lord of Moad Cailin as he wanted to become the lord of that castle. I also told him to set 4 watchtowers with constant fire above them so that ships don't get lost in night. I advised him to set up a toll policy like the House Frey uses.

Due to those ideas and facts, in the whole westeros I became famous as a genius.
