21 Simple dreams in the chaotic reality.

When Casmir collected himself from his drug induced haze, he found himself standing in the middle of the University plaza. He didn't understand how he got here but he felt strangely happy for some reason. The last thing he remembered was Bluefire telling him that he starts classes on Monday the 4th.

'What the hell happened...' he thought

Casmir still felt a bit out of it but apparently the people that passed him by hadn't noticed.

There were many people who would stand around the plaza waiting for friends or simply chatting so he didn't seem strange at a glance.

Casmir realised he was thirsty as he tried to think, he remembered that there were a few food stands by the plaza, they sold food and drink to the students. He quickly walked over to them and bought a few things with the money he had brought with him, afterwards he sat down on the raised edge of the fountain to rest.

As he recalled his meeting with Master Bluefire, he realised that she had drugged him in order to get rid of him.

Casmir wore a strange expression as he tried to bring reason to her actions.

'Maybe she's just like Gloria... terrible at dealing with her emotions...' he thought.

Casmir's thoughts gradually returned to his dead parents, Master Bluefire must know a lot about his parents if she knew about their deaths. He wanted to immediately return to Master Bluefire to ask her more but he didn't believe she would tell him anything else yet.

Casmir resigned his questions about his parents for when met Master Bluefire again.

"Casmir!"

Elena suddenly called out to him as Casmir was still thinking.

Elena was quite happy at the moment however as she noticed Casmir sitting by the fountain with a frown on his face, she felt nervous.

She quickly called out to him and walked over before sitting next to him.

"What's wrong? You got onto your course right?" she said worriedly.

Casmir smiled as he saw Elena, he couldn't do anything about the past, which depressed him but at least he had Elena.

"Don't worry, I got onto my course. It's just... well I meet someone, they knew my parents." He said with melancholy.

Elena was aware of Casmir's past, they had previously talked about it, upon hearing that Casmir had met someone who knew his mother she was both excited and nervous.

This didn't only represent Casmir's parents but hers as well, she knew that it was only a faint chance of finding her parents but nonetheless it was very important to her.

When Casmir saw Elena's expectant face, he felt his heart tighten, he knew that although she barely mentioned it Elena wanted to find her parents as well.

"I'm sorry Elena... she didn't tell me much, she only told me that.. that my parents were dead..." Casmir said as he held Elena's hand.

Casmir felt Elena's grip tighten for a moment but Elena was clearly more mature, she didn't let this harsh news effect her much, she was well aware that she might never find her parents.

Casmir wanted to speak but before Casmir could say a word of comfort Elena had already moved on.

"... Casmir, I know that you don't remember your parents but I'm sure they loved you.." Elena said in an attempt to comfort him.

Casmir couldn't help but laugh at himself, realising that Elena was far more prepared than he was. Casmir decided that he didn't want to think about it anymore, he didn't know what to think about it, it just felt wrong.

"Let's go home Elena... I take it you got onto a good course?" Casmir said with a slight smile as he tried to change the subject.

Elena took a moment wondering whether she should say anything more but soon smiled back at Casmir.

"Ok, lets go home.." she said with a smile.

As they got up and started walking home Elena told Casmir all about her new course.

"I got really lucky, apparently they just opened a new course and.."

Apparently Elena had been accepted to a new course, it was a biology course run by the Greenlight Association focusing on cellular fundamentals and interactions. It was very suited to her dream of become a Qi healer and she also managed to apply for an addition class for Qi fundamentals.

Unlike Casmir's, this class solely focused on increasing one's Qi grade and not teaching them combat fundamental, history and Qi Class specifics.

Casmir was happy that Elena found a good course...

=====

On the way home, Casmir and Elena passed a small market, it was a produce market mainly selling crops and different kinds of foods.

They decided to have a look around and fortunately managed to find some pine cones and holly seeds, Elena was quite happy because of this.

They took there time in browsing and Casmir bought a few food items to use for cooking, Elena bought some pastry items for them to eat when they got home.

By the time they arrive home it was 2 o'clock in the afternoon.

Casmir and Elena went to speak with Gloria when they got back, Gloria was pleased that the two got into their courses but at the mention of Master Bluefire Gloria frowned.

"You're mother's dead..?" Gloria asked sadly.

"Yes..." Casmir replied.

Gloria didn't know what to say, she had already expected this but...

"I'm sorry Casmir, I didn't know whether Master Bluefire would know anything but i knew she wouldn't tell me anything. I had already asked her about it before." Gloria said apologetically.

Casmir understood, Bluefire seemed very difficult to deal with.

"It's ok. I'm going to visit her every week or so she can teach me, if I find out anything else I'll tell you." He said before looking at Elena.

"I'll find out what I can about your parents to, don't worry we'll find them." He said reassuringly.

Elena smiled happily because of his words.

"Thank you."

Upon seeing Elena and Casmir happily looking at each other, Gloria couldn't help but feel oddly jealous.

"Alright you two come on, come on, get out of here I have work to do." She said unhappily as she drove the pair from her work room.

Casmir and Elena said their Goodbye's before they returned to Casmir's room.

As they sat down on his bed, Elena questioned him as to why he had brought her here.

"What do you need Casmir? I want to tend to my flowers before we do anything later..." She said under the suspicion he might try to eat her up.

Casmir put on an awkward smile as he heard her.

"Nothing like that, there's something important I need to tell you and it's hard to describe... I know you trust me, I trust you just as much but please listen to what I say.... I know it sounds insane..." Casmir said seriously as he got up to find the paper he had hidden earlier.

"Remember how I told you I visited Rose the other day. Well I left something out, honestly I don't know how to describe it..." Casmir said as he went on to explain everything that happened to him that night.

At first, Elena thought Casmir had done something bad with this Rose person but as she listened to what he said, she didn't know what to say.

Casmir explained bit by bit, his dream, the Life Giver Orb, his immunity to the Lifeless Plague, everything.

Casmir handed the paper he had written earlier to Elena to help her understand everything, it barely helped. Elena didn't know whether to believe him or not, what he was telling her was something from a fairytale or maybe a nightmare, he was telling her that this Rose person was carrying his child.

How was she suppose to feel? She didn't know.

"... Why are you telling me this?" Elena asked in confusion.

"You showed me everything when we were at that pond the other day, I don't want to keep anything from you..." Casmir said truthfully feeling nervous at how Elena would react.

Elena stood up, she wanted to stay so she could understand everything but she felt so angry at Casmir for something he had no control over, she decided to leave.

As Casmir saw her silently walking towards the door, he thought the worst, he thought she might hate him or think he's insane.

He quickly grabbed her arm but Elena tried to shake him off.

"Let go of me Casmir!" she shouted with tears in her eyes.

She felt so angry at Casmir but she also felt horrible that she felt angry at him for having a child, this was supposed to be a great event, children were so rare these days.

A single child could bring a family from the depths of depression, to the peaks of happiness and yet at this moment, all she felt was hate for it.

Casmir had never seen her like this, he didn't know what to do but if he let her go, he dared not think what might happen....

Casmir was scared, so was Elena, neither of them wanted to fall apart but neither of them knew what to do.

Casmir forcefully hugged Elena unwilling to let her go.

"Shout at me! Tell me what's going on, vent your feelings on me! I don't want you to leave me, I wont let you!" He shouted in her ear.

Elena was shocked but it didn't change how she was feeling, she unwillingly did what he said, not because of his instruction but because she wanted to vent her feelings.

"How could you do that... WITH HER!... I WAS HERE FOR YOU... and you... and you..." Elena uncontrollably switched between shouting and mumbling as she vented at him.

She didn't care about this magical orb or Casmir's immunity.

She cared that he was having a child with someone else, a strangely naive and unreasonable viewpoint, but to her, it was a breaking of trust, of faith in her.

Elena continued to shout for a few minutes as Casmir held her, she even started hitting him with her arms, it hurt Casmir but he didn't care.

"... I wanted it to be you.. " Casmir started to whisper to her.

As she heard him she felt even more horrible.

'Why did I reject him...' she thought

"I still want it to be with you..." Casmir whispered.

"NO!... no... I'm sorry... I'm sorry..." she shouted and cried in confusion.

She didn't want to admit that she felt loved because of his words, all she wanted was to vent her anger and stop feeling such guilt.

At this point, Casmir was shaking, he felt like he was being rejected by her.

"I.. love you Elena.. I want you to be with me forever... I want you to have my children and I want to watch you play with them and teach them..." Casmir rambled on as he told her his purest dream.

It was a simple dream, it was a dream Elena shared with him.

Elena didn't know why but her anger started to lessen as she heard him and as they both vented their feelings at each other, the unpleasant atmosphere lessened until eventually....

"Ok!..." Elena cried out.

Casmir didn't understand, but as he looked at Elena's flushed and tearful face, he saw a smile.

Elena softly spoke to him, "... I-I'll do it... I'll stay with you... to have your children..."
