War (End)

The bright sun of the day began to fade, giving way to a sinister shadow that spread across the village. Those who dared to look into the distance, towards the horizon, could see the ghostly outlines of the approaching enemy soldiers.

The distant sound of their boots sinking into the wet earth could be heard like distant thunder, causing the hearts of the village residents to race. Jacob was sitting atop a hill, watching every move of the enemy army. He knew that the time to act was near, but he was also aware that the impending battle would be quite dangerous.

Grace was standing by Jacob's side, with a worried look on her soft and delicate face. She held Jacob's hand firmly, giving him unconditional support. Although she knew that Jacob was the strongest among them, she was still concerned about the impending battle. Jacob, on the other hand, showed no fear. He knew he would have to deal with hundreds of enemies, but he planned to knock them all out and kill only the leader.

He knew that this mission could be risky, but he also knew that victory was possible if everyone worked together. Jacob looked at Grace's worried face and reassured her, saying that everything would be alright. Grace gave a weak smile, knowing that he was certainly confident and that she would support him in any circumstance.

Ryan, Ellie, and John watched the arrival of the enemy army with tense yet confident expressions on their faces. They knew that Jacob was leading the battle, but fighting against an entire army was still a daunting task.

Ryan, with his experience, knew that every move was crucial in this type of situation and was determined to help in any way he could. Ellie seemed eager but was prepared to use her brain rather than her heart in the battle. John, on the other hand, had no experience in large-scale battles but was willing to fight with all his might and help his allies however he could.

When Jacob and Grace approached them, they gathered into a group, ready to follow their lead for the sake of the village and everyone's safety.

Ryan, Ellie, and John turned to Jacob as he approached. "We're going to attack now!" said Jacob in a confident tone. "We don't have many choices, but we can do this. Ryan, I'd like you to lead the frontal attack with Ellie. John, I will need you to lead the defense of the village and keep everyone safe. Grace and I will lead the fight against the leader of the enemy army."

Ryan looked at Jacob with a determined look. "Let's show these guys who's boss," he said, but inside he was scared to be on the front lines. Ellie agreed, holding her gun firmly. "I'm ready," she said. John looked hesitant but knew it was necessary. "I will do whatever is necessary to protect the village and my family," he said.

Jacob looked at each of them, thanking them for their cooperation. "Together, we are stronger," he said. "We will fight as if our lives depended on it, but don't forget! Killing them would be nice, but I want everyone alive! Let's go!"

The hearts of the brave allied fighters beat as loudly as the sound of the drums. The wind ruffled their cloaks as they stood on the edge of the hill, looking steadfastly at the army of 300 men below.

With unwavering confidence, they leaped off the hillside, dropping down amidst the dust and the roar of the crowd.

With a triumphant entrance, they leaped off the slope, falling straight into the middle of the enemy army, taking them by surprise. Without waiting, Jacob and his allies began to attack with fury, fighting with vigor and determination, leaving no room for the soldiers to recover from the initial blow.

Jacob and Grace fought in perfect synchrony as if they were one. With fluid and coordinated movements, they advanced against their enemies, dodging blows and fighting with determination.

Their eyes were fixed on one point, and they seemed to know exactly what the other was thinking without needing to communicate. It was as if they were dancing together in a well-rehearsed but deadly choreography. The harmony between the two was impressive, and this was evident in the way they faced their enemies as if they were invincible.

With each accurate strike, Ellie and Ryan were knocking out one soldier after another. With skill and precision, they advanced against their enemies, making each strike accurate, but without taking life.

Meanwhile, John fought alone against seven soldiers, dodging blows and knocking out each one with speed and mastery, to neutralize and prevent preventing them from causing more damage. With tenacity and great courage, he fought with his mind focused on his mission, without ever losing confidence in his abilities.

Suddenly, Jacob spotted the leader of the enemy army, who was being protected by 50 heavily armed soldiers. Without hesitation, he advanced toward the group, like a war tank, leaving a trail of knockouts where he passed.

The soldiers tried with all their might to stop him, but they seemed no match for the ferocity and skill of the protagonist. He was focused on his objective, determined to end the battle once and for all and give victory to his allies.

As Jacob ruthlessly advanced toward the soldiers protecting the enemy leader, one of the soldiers tried to attack him from behind. But before he could make any move, Grace quickly emerged and knocked the soldier down with a precise sword strike.

The two exchanged a passionate look for a few moments, but then quickly returned to the focus of the battle, determined to accomplish their mission. The pause was brief but enough for Jacob and Grace to know that they could always count on each other, even in the most extreme situations. They continued to advance toward the enemy leader, with even more courage and strength.

So Jacob finally reached the enemy leader, who was surrounded by his most loyal soldiers. With his eyes fixed on the main enemy, he prepared for the final confrontation with his sword in hand. The enemies tried to stop him from approaching but were unable to contain his determination and skill.

With his precise movements, Jacob delivered the final blow against the enemy leader, who fell to the brink of death on the ground.

Jacob relaxed as he saw that the leader had been defeated, a smile of victory on his face. He shouted with all the strength in his lungs for everyone to hear: "Your leader is down! What are you waiting for? Stop fighting!"

The news dropped like a bomb on the soldiers, who were perplexed and angry at the same time. That defeat served as a motivation for them to keep fighting, but Jacob was not willing to keep fighting.

Anger seized him as he saw the soldiers' reaction and he shouted, releasing his full murderous aura, "Those who keep fighting will die! I have no mercy on those who oppose me!"

Suddenly, a cold feeling took over the battlefield. All the soldiers felt Jacob's murderous aura hovering over them and stood motionless, not knowing what to do.

Jacob approached the enemy leader, who had been defeated by him. He looked into the leader's eyes and said firmly, "Why have you come back? Why are you attacking our village?"

The enemy leader looked back at Jacob and replied with disdain, "What do you know about what is right or wrong? We are fighting for peace, just as you are fighting."

Jacob was furious at the enemy leader's response. He knew that he could not let the fight continue in this way. So he fixed his gaze on the enemy leader and said with conviction, "A war to achieve peace, that sounds funny." Without any hesitation, Jacob took his sword and drove it into the leader's chest.

Jacob watched the enemy leader collapse on the ground, mortally wounded in combat. As much as they had opposite ideas, Jacob couldn't help but feel a certain respect for his opponent. Their paths would never meet again, but he admired the leader's courage and strength, even if he was weak and pathetic.

Author's note:

Sorry for stopping at such a moment (*_*)

Anyway, I wanted to make a chapter that moves forward quickly. I feel that chapters with long fights are boring, after all, waiting 1 or 2 days to see the outcome is boring, right?

Thanks for reading (♡-♡)

"The philosophy of war and peace is a complex and profound issue that has been debated throughout human history. War is an example of how low humanity can descend and always results in terrible human losses and permanent psychological damage. On the other hand, peace is the ideal state to be achieved, promoting harmony, cooperation, and happiness for all people."
