Warped

After that intense battle had finished I sighed and thought of what I would be doing next.

The necklace spoke to me and said "Since the space around us has been disturbed to much I cant send you anywhere because it needs time to recover and fill in the holes we caused."

It spoke again and said "We will just have to float in space for a while until it recovers and I'm able to warp you somewhere else."

I replied and said "Ok' I'll just float around since I have nothing better to do." I didn't get a response after that and just enjoyed the feeling of being able to fly.

...

After about a while of floating around I got bored and asked the necklace a question "So just what are you and why are you helping me?"

The necklace replied with "The reason I'm helping you is a debt I had to pay back to you in the past, as for what I am...you wouldn't understand even if I told you."

I replied with "Ok...but are you really just a necklace? and do you have a gender? your voice sounds genderless."

The necklace replied with "I didn't notice that I sounded like that, I am a female... If you want I can temporarily change into my original form and show you what I look like."

Her response piqued my interest and I quickly replied with "yes."

Suddenly the necklace started to glow a really bright white and I had to cover my eyes or I probably would have went blind if I didn't.

After about 7 seconds of that I noticed the necklace around my neck disappeared. I shot my eyes to look in front of me and what greeted them was a majestic sight.

It was a mature women that had long silky black hair, her figure was slender and smooth and would pull the eyes of anyone who was even near her. Her eyes were were also light purple and had a hint of a shine in the middle. Her face structure looked really calm and a normal person would have thought she was a goddess.

...And I also noticed that... she was nude!? Even though I wanted to say something I couldn't take my eyes off of her figure.

After about 5 minutes after staring she said out loud "Are you going to keep staring or are you going to say something!?"

I finally snapped myself together after I was disrupted and said "so...sorry it was just... never mind."

I had to disrupt the awkwardness and said "So what's your name anyway, I never got to learn that."

She replied with "It's Lumire."

I nodded my head and said "It's nice, I like it." After I said that she almost had no reaction but I could have swore that for a second I saw her smile and almost blush a little...maybe it was just my imagination, I told myself.

She said "Thanks, I never found out you're name."

I hesitated before I said it then said "It's...014, well to be more precise, its code 014." She looked at me blankly and said "Are you joking with me? What is you're real name."

I replied with "I'm not joking, that is my name." Even after I said that she didn't believe me and said "And just who gave you that name?"

I replied with "Well in order for you to understand that I have to explain my backstory." she replied with "Ok."

...

After explaining my backstory I looked at her, but I couldn't see her face, It was darkened out so I couldn't tell what expression she had on her face."

Eventually she lifted her head up and it was the same expression she had on her face before.

But then I remembered something and said "Wait weren't you their too when I was at the facility, I always had the necklace on so surely you saw everything."

She looked at me and said 'Yes you are right, I was there with you, but I wasn't awake, in order for me to had awaken I needed arcane energy to be around me, but that lowly planet didn't have a single piece of any."

I then said "Oh, well I arrived on that previous planet and stayed there for a while, how come you didn't say anything then?"

She replied and said "It's because I needed you to figure out my existence first, If a necklace suddenly started talking to you, you wouldn't have known how to access the situation then."

I nodded and agreed and then said "Why cant you stay in this form forever, why is it temporary? To be honest I would love someone like you by my side all the time."

She replied with "...Well it's because I need a certain amount of arcane energy to form reconstruct my body, But don't worry I'm almost at the required amount to do so."

I then said "Did you just blu-"... No I didn't! Lumire said out loud before I could finish my sentence."

I said "Ok, if you say so." Then suddenly I noticed that the space rifts had closed and that meant I could get warped somewhere now.

Lumire noticed this too and transformed back into a necklace around my neck and said "I will open up a cut in space quickly and you go through it, Unfortuantely I can't choose which planet and universe we go to so it will all be random."

I nodded and said "Ok."

A rift in space then suddenly appeared and I walked through it and the familiar warpy feeling came upon me again.

After an unknown amount of time I felt that I landed on my head unexpectedly and unluckily for me I passed out...

Just before I lost consciousness I heard a voice yelling out *hey...hey 014 wake up please*

I recognized It was Lumire's voice but I couldn't do anything.
