CH.3. THE FAILED RESEARCH!

"THE JOINT RESEARCHER'S COLLABORATION FORMED TO TERMINATE THE PANDEMIC HAS BEEN DISASSEMBLED."

She reads the lines further below the heading.

"As the outbreak was expanding in many countries, a group of young biologists and researchers were eager to work on the new variations of the virus and they soon formed a large collaboration. What started as ten scientist's around a table jumped to 12 groups within a week then to 14 and more. Within a few months, the collaboration had published research papers that map out protein interaction and other features of the cov-2 outbreak. The collaboration has been spread out to different countries that agreed to come together for the well-being of the people. But unfortunately, it came to highlight that the success had a sudden downfall."

She stops in the middle of her read. *What downfall?*

"What is it, Na-Ri ah?!", He looks at the anticipated look on the girl's face.

She snaps out in the middle and looks at the old man's face.

" Ah...! Wait a minute, grandpa!".

She takes the paper from the old man's hand and starts reading further.

"As unfortunate news for us, the reason behind the downfall was kept behind closed doors for many months, and finally under principal investigation, the research institute came into a highlight. It has been more than a year since the collaboration has taken place when they went on to win people as well as the higher-up's hearts with the outstanding results they had been providing. But recently the uncovered news has come to light.

'The failure', is what they address it as.

The research Institute of California, where the research collaboration took place had been chaotic the last few weeks according to the investigation team from the last few months. Reason:- The new variant of vaccination samples was tested on a few laboratory animals, which was considered a success! But unfortunately, after a few days of the vaccination, the animals started showing side effects and caused chaos within the lab. The lab was shut down after that suppressing the details further."

"What is to fear is that the vaccination samples have been shipped to different locations and now some samples are already in use. Keeping the chaos in vision, the collaboration was terminated and the research center was shut down with a new group of researchers finding the cause of the downfall. The higher-ups are trying their best to reach through locations and take measures with the new vaccination. Right now 'hope' is all we can count upon!".

She sneers after reading the article, "What? Are they trying to cure us or destroy us".

She releases a heavy sigh and gives the paper back to the old man.

" What is it?", the grandpa asks in curiosity.

"Ah!!. it's nothing! just some updates about the disease".

" Ah....disease? It is almost gone now!", He nods his head.

" Then I will take my leave, grandpa", She smiles and turns to leave.

"Okay, okay!!", he coughs without turning back.

*Chaos! huh? Really? what are these researchers doing! Anyways hope it isn't bad!*

She reaches on the bicycle and smashes the empty cartoon and turns the bicycle towards the road to leave.

She hears a loud noise from inside the house!
