As memories foreign to him starts entering his brain, a feeling of pity and sadness enter him.

Usopp, as he would now be called, in his last life a teenage boy with an imaginative mind with a slight passion for mangas and animes.

He was far from being called an otaku as he has friends and hobbies outside of animes, but he sometimes wished to be reincarnated in a fictional world as the main character.

However, when he saw that he reincarnated as Usopp, he had the urges to cry, as Usopp is truly pitiful.

His father left him and his mother for piracy, after which his mother died of illness, traumatizing him to the point where his lies are his only way of feeling better.

Usopp thought to himself, I was just walking down the street and blank, I am here.

He thought injustice to himself as he didn't see an truck-kun or whatever-kun crashing on to him.

On second thought, he was glad the kuns didn't come, it would have been painful to say the least.
