Chapter 42 - Space Travel

"Our pods were destroyed due to unforeseen circumstances. We have taken a spaceship from them after killing them and are now heading back to base." Vegeta was currently talking to through his scouter to someone in Frieza's spaceship.

"Understood, come back as quickly as possible for your next mission." The communication team responded with their drone-like response and hung up.

"Tsk" He took off the scouter and went to the cockpit of the ship. Bulma had modified the Scouters so that they are able to control certain aspects to have more privacy. Entering the cockpit, he saw everyone already gathered around Chichi the pilot.

"We were able to lock onto Frieza's spaceship thanks to your coordinates. They are currently moving but we should be able to catch up within a few weeks."

"Waah!? A few weeks? That's boring, I want to fight this guy now!" The incredibly serious situation intensity lowered a bit when everyone was reminded that Bulla was on the ship. Goku went up to his kids and pinched their cheeks simultaneously.

"Oh no, you won't be fighting. You will stay on the ship with your Mom." No matter how much the kids protested, Goku wouldn't budge an inch. They may be incredibly strong for their age, but one small mistake could lead to their death.

Goku turned to look at everyone else that was on the ship: Piccolo, Vegeta, and Raditz for use.

"Everyone has their own room with training equipment and a small gravity room. This ship functions as a normal house with all the appliances. Be nice to each other around here."

He 'dismissed' everyone with that last sentence but before Piccolo could go, Goku stopped him.

"Hey you don't use gravity as much lately, do you? I noticed that it does not work as effectively on you."

"Yes, my body is different than you Saiyans. I won't grow stronger just by pressuring my body. Lately, I have been meditating and other activities to grow my strength." Piccolo didn't know how Goku figured out that he hasn't been using gravity but he knew that he didn't ask for no reason.

"Perfect, that means you have a lot of free time. I need to ask someone thing of you." Run. That was the only thing that popped into his mind. Just before he could book it, Goku reached behind him and scoped the two kids and shoved them into Piccolo's arms.

"They can't really be left unsupervised, especially Bulla. If you can look after them and even train them a bit it will be greatly appreciated. Anyways, I will be going to my room, knock if you need anything."

Piccolo blinked in disbelief. However, when he did so, Goku was already nowhere in sight. He put down the kids and went straight to Goku's door and knocked rapidly. There was no response even though Goku encouraged him to knock.

*Crash*

Looking behind and where the noise was coming from, it was the room labeled Piccolo. The door was wide open for any wandering kid to go in.

"You bast*ards better not be doing anything!"

Back on Earth, Bulma was monitoring the spaceship's systems from inside her lab. She decided to take a break and went into the kitchen. She started to eat some leftovers when she heard a sound coming from the gravity room.

"Phew, no wonder Kakarrot got so much stronger than us, that gravity room is no joke!" Kale shyly nodded next to her for obvious reasons. Caulifla was wearing a sports bra and panties with no shame in showing around her body. Sweat was dripping accenting her abs and glistened her skin.

Kale was a little more modest wearing yoga-like pants and a sports crop top. Even with all the cover, the intense workout made her clothes stick closer to her skin creating her own charm.

Bulma whistled at the display appreciating the show that she was given. The Saiyans girls decided to crash with Bulma because they had nowhere else to go and there was amazing training equipment there. No other reason.

"So...Bulma." The girls decided to eat before they showered and sat down with Bulma. Bulma looked up from her phone and gave the Caulifla her attention.

"How long have you known Goku?" On the side, Kale rolled her eyes and pouted discreetly after hearing Caulifla antics. On the opposite side of the token, Bulma rolled her eyes in her mind. It was the Dragon's wish at work.

'Oh Goku, you pulled in another. You will be in for a surprise when you get back, I will prep her for you. After all your happiness is mine as well."

"We met when I was just a teenager..." Bulma told her life full of adventure and turmoil centered around one Saiyan kid. Before nightfall came, she started talking about recent events such as marriage and kids.

"So you and Chichi are both Goku's wives? That seems strange but normal." Caulifla fell into deep thought once she got into that issue. Pushing her a little more, she even started talking about her more intimate endeavors.

Jealousy flashed through Caulifla's eyes while disgust appeared on Kale's.

'Bulma, she is my enemy! She is helping that blasted Kakarrot steal my Senpai away from me!'

"That big? The only one is Vegeta's accidentally and let me tell you I thought all Saiyans guys were the same as his royal handler." They really started to kick off in their conversation. Although Bulma is no battle-hardened Veteran, she is no girly girl either.

They joked and laugh on various topics even making Kale join in on the fun loosening her unease. What they didn't know coming was a meteor-like objected headed to Earth only a few weeks due...

Time passed by quickly on the ship with no spectacular view on the outside. They only passed by some planets but left them in the dust with Capsule Corps' advanced spaceship.

"We are only a few days left until we arrive at Frieza's location. Took us around 2 weeks of travel until we caught up to him. Seems like he is heading to a small desolate planet. Apparently, according to Galaxy Wiki, rumor has it that someone who had crossed Frieza in the past was last seen there and he went to confirm it.

Looking at the planet through the display, Goku could not help but feel he recognized it. It was on the edge of his tongue but surely he has never seen a planet like this? Arrrrg, hate it when that happens!

The others didn't even bat an eye to the planet and continued to listen to Chichi's explanation.

"We should be able to reach him just as he reaches it. The plan is to pretend to on their side and board the main the ship. Then cause chaos from within, kill Frieza, then destroy the ship. I will stay back with the kids to pick you guys up before the ship will go up in the flames."

Like an experienced tactician, she laid out the plan while also leaving room knowing the Saiyan tendencies.

"Mom what can we do? Don't tell me we are going to stay on the ship while everyone else has all the fun."

Chichi rubbed Gohan's head and assured both the kids.

"Don't worry, I have a special role for you two..."

"Alright, we shall meet up here in a few days. Chichi will alert everyone through the intercom when we approach the ship."

Although Goku on the outside seemed calm and collected, on the inside he was a little worried. He has been pushing himself to the limit but his strength has been capped with just Gravity for now. He had been recently training Raditz and giving a few tips to Vegeta about the Primal Form in the past few days. Needless to say, with Vegeta's temperament, it will take quite a while for him to reach that form. He has also been keeping the kids' company when they annoy Piccolo too much.

They have been improving a lot, but as expected, Raditz has been lagging behind and struggling compared to Vegeta. They started out roughly the same with Vegeta's power a few thousand ahead of Raditz to tens of thousands ahead. Some people are just built differently.

Everyone left to do their own thing. Vegeta and Raditz went to train while Piccolo tried to meditate despite those nagging kids all around him. Goku turned to Chichi and put his hand on her shoulder.

"Have you been contacting Bulma with the device?"

"Yes, I have. So far, even with being this far away, her tech is able to still reach and we talk every day."

"That's good, do you remember the plan?"

"..."

"Chichi..."

"Do you really have to leave again?"

"Don't say it like that. I will be gone for less than a year. I just want to visit the planet and I will come back asap."

"If you say so..."

"You seem stressed my beautiful wife, let me relieve some it for you..."
