MEETING A NEW FAMILY FINAL PART:

So after reading my favourite book in the library for sometime I went to bed but I couldn't sleep due to the nightmare I had so I decided to go out for some walk it was midnight by that time the moon was full and it looked really beautiful and it's light made the night even more prettier and the weather was really good but I was alone at night nit that I was scared of the dark I was just wondering here and there and didn't realize that I had reached Grandpa's house I stood there for sometime when suddenly the lights of the house turned on I was about to leave but then the front door opened and Grandpa came outside .

Ohh my child what are you doing here at this late hour he asked while coming towards me .

I couldn't sleep because of that nightmare so I decided to walk and didn't realize when I reached here sorry for disturbing you I'm going now I replied while turning around to leave .

Are you upset my son he asked while holding my hand and I don't know what happened but suddenly I started to cry again.

I don't know grandpa that dream never lets me sleep I don't know why and I was feeling really lonely so I decided to walk and maybe I wanted to talk to you so I came here I don't know what has happened to me but I feel comfortable with you guys I replied with teary eyes .

He hugged me tight and said that I could sleep with them today he took me inside to his room and he held my hand the whole night while I slept near him and for the first time I was able to sleep well .

The next day I woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside the window followed by the rustling of the leaves due to the breeze that blew here and there .

So I got up from bed and saw some clothes were placed on the bed with a note saying that these were for me so I quickly freshed up and went downstairs for breakfast and there I saw that at the dinning table everyone was sitting and talking with each other just like a happy family which melted me heart .

When grandpa saw me he called me and asked me to sit next to him I happily nodded and sat next to him and after sometime grandma and Ellie brought the breakfast from the kitchen one by one and it was really good and it felt like I was at home again when dad was alive and it felt just like the times we used to visit relatives .

Then the bell rang Luca went to see and came back with mom and she looked happy to see me there .

So grandma asked her to join and she happily agreed then after breakfast we went to the hospital to rebandage my wounds and in the afternoon mom decided to take me out for sometime and I agreed .

She took me to a peaceful park and after walking for sometime we sat at a bench .

I know its hard for you Max but you know that I love you and I care about you that's why I didn't tell you but can we put that aside and start again she said while holding my hand .

Yeah I like the sound of that mom I said while smiling .

And we talked alot about her new job about my college and our lives and our hobbies and for the first time I felt her love for me then after sometime we left for home it was evening already when we reached home and I went to my room to rest for sometime .

When I went downstairs for dinner I was pleased to see that mom had invited grandpa and all his family for dinner and the feast was great Mr Han had made many dishes that left everyone in amazement .

During diiner everyone chatted and ate like a family and even Andrew was there but he was quit throughout the dinner .

Then after dinner I was going back to my room when suddenly I saw Andrew follow me behind .

Can we have a talk he said while placing his hand on my shoulder .

so I agreed and we both went outside and we walked silently fro sometime when finally he broke the silence .

Hey man I wanted to say sorry for what happened to you he said while looking in my eyes .

But it wasn't your fault and it's okay I'm feeling better now I replied while smiling .

But it was me who told your mom I'm sorry man I was jealous of all the attention you were getting and everyone loved you and cared for you and it made me feel left out I'm sorry it might sound childish but grandpa is not my real guardian he adopted me and Luca few years ago and although he loved us alot but it was difficult for me to fit in and I always let my insecurities shove their love away and I saw you fitting in so quickly and I saw love in his eyes for you and I thought I would be invisible forever but I never wanted you to get hurt I'm sorry man when I heard your story I understood that you were facing the same problem like me and it made me feel even worse can you ever forgive me he said with teary eyes .

And for the first time I saw tears in his eyes and his words melted my heart and it made it all clear for his behavior so I hugged him tight as tears fell off my eyes .

And we both cried together and then after sometime we wiped our tears and he forwarded his hand and I shook hands with him and that day our friendship began .

Then we both went inside the house with a smile on ur faces and everyone seemed pleased with our friendship then at night they all went back to their home and I went to my room to sleep but couldn't sleep so I went to mom's room and asked if I could sleep with her and she happily agreed .

The whole night I slept peacefully like there was no danger her warmth made me calm and I slept without any nightmare .
