Definitely a Bad Slime!

(A/N: Sorry about the crappy last chap, I was only writing with my phone. AND, I know that this first world seem too fast and crappy, but I'd like everyone who reads this fic to remember that this is my first time with this kind of work, so there will be a few mishaps, loopholes in the story/plot, and many more. I will try my best tho and I'm trying to improve to make this fic better. That'll be all, ciao~!)

Jun and Majin had loads of fun the day before by touring around Alcanretia. Of course, they don't forget to try to erase their presence or just outright avoid the "devout" followers of the Axis Cult around the city. Jun doesn't really have any good faith in religion. He does respect the faith of those that believe in it, but he often questions the existence of "God" during his past life. And now that he'll be travelling in worlds that have actual gods in them, well...He still doesn't have any intention to join or overly believe in one. He may classify them as really strong beings, but that's it. For all he cares he has only faith in himself and those dear to him.

After touring around the city and getting to some digging for information around the locals and costumers, they found out that the hot springs quality is getting lower these past few months. The regulars say that the hot spring's effect to their bodies are not as potent anymore. The locals say that it may just be a temporary lapse in the minerals in the hot spring's source, but Jun knows better. The quality going low means that someone or something might've tampered with the source. So after a few hours of rest from their stroll around the city, they decide to sneak and check the hot spring's source. Jun was in the [Mobile Suit] that he had acquired from the last gacha that he rolled. With it being resistant to poisons to a certain degree, he would be able to fight toe-to-gunk with the evil slime. He was also reluctant with bringing Okita(Alter) with him, but he then remembered that the kuudere beauty by his side can shoot beams, literally. And so, they hiked all the way to the source of the spring, where they see a middle-aged looking guy putting his hand in the water with something violet and foul-looking being released from it. They approached the man and shouted at him to stop whatever he was doing.

Jun: Stop right there criminal scum!(A/N: Sorry couldn't help it)

???: Huh? Who're you?

Jun: Well, you can call us adventurers. And we got a hint that the hot spring's quality has been going down as of late, so we decided to check the source.

???: Ho? And now that you've found me, scram away. I need to finish this mission so that I can leave this crazy place!

Jun: Uhh...Did something happen to you?

???: HUH!? Did you not get surrounded every day by those Axis cultists? Every single day, they pester me, try to sell their products, and preach their o-so powerful goddess! And, I've been here for a few weeks already! Do you know the kind of torture that I had to go through!? Yes! Torture! Those cultists will torture your mind! Graaaahhhhh!!!

Jun & Okita(Alter): ....

???: ...

Jun: Uhm, well...For all it's worth...I'm sorry for the things you've gone through. But still! That doesn't mean that we'll let you destroy this place!

???: Uhhh, so annoying...Very well, I need to devour something anyway, you two will do just fine. Any who have seen my true form have begged for my mercy and surrendered. I am Hans, a general of the Demon King's Army. Hans the Deadly Poison Slime!

Jun: Humu, my name is Jun, an adventurer. And the beautiful woman slicing your neck right now is my lover, Majin Okita Souji.

Hans: Huh? What do you mea-

Before Hans could even finish what he was saying, Majin flashed to his back and swung her sword in a perfect arc, decapitating the poison slime that had a shocked look on his beheaded face. But before the two can relax, the head turned into a purple slime and once it fell to the earth, the land started to corrode and turn black and with it a miasmic cloud also started to appear around the slime. Hans' headless body then started to bulge all around, as if it cannot keep it's current form anymore. The body then disappeared in a blue-violet matter that grew in size, displayed huge and sharp teeth, and had a few red string line lines originating from two oval lights that may be the eyes, skirting around the huge body of the slime. Majin immediately came back to Jun's side to avoid the growing mass of grossness.

<Alpha>: Mission given!

Mission details: Defeat the Demon General Hans!

Mission Requirements: Defeat Hans <0/1>

Failure Condition: If Hans completely contaminates the hot spring's source!, Hans escapes

Reward: Demon God Manifestation: Demon's Extract (Negative Effects Removed)

Jun: Eww~ So gross...And~ Damn that reward! I'll be more powerful thanks to that Teigu if I defeat this guy!

Majin(A/N: You know what, I'll just call her Majin from now on): Agreed. What should we do now, Jun?

Jun: Hmm...Alpha, any good ideas?

<Alpha>: Calculating possible contingencies...Done. Jun can use the shield you have obtained from the gacha as it has [Anti-Evil] abilities. It may not be much, but as the enemy is an evil being, it will be slowly purified.

Jun: Alpha, might you be suggesting that I go man-to-slime against that thing and bash it with the [Lord Camelot] over and over again until it gets purified?

<Alpha>: ....Yes?

Jun: (sighs) Ok, gimme other ideas.

<Alpha: Jun can apply hit-and-run tactics with Majin and attack using magic. With Majin being the main firepower, her Noble Phantasm can blow away the enemy from existence, given she hits the enemy's core accurately.

Jun: Ehhh?That sounds like a lot of work...Alright let's do it. Majin, ready your Noble Phantasm. I'll be the one to distract him.

With a solid plan formed. Jun acted right away and ran to the slime's left side. He then jumped into the air and did a backflip, all the while gathering magic energy to his left foot.

Jun: HmmmmRaghh! [Sky Dragon's Claw]!

Jun fires off a wind blade from his foot, which then hit the huge slime. The attack hit right on target only, it caused the slime to fire off into different directions, even flying off into the hot spring's source. This only served to pollute the water more.

Jun: Tch! I can't do moves that cause it's slime to fly off! Majin! Are you done yet!?

Majin: Not yet Jun! A few more breaths and I'll be ready! Please hold on until then!

Jun: Mkay! (Now I just need to keep its attention on me.) Hey Hans! Slimes are the weakest! Period!

Hans: GRRRROOOOOOOHHHH!!!

The huge slime was enraged at Jun's provocation. It produced a few tentacles made of slime and shot them at Jun.

Jun: Shit!

Jun barely got the shield that he acquired from the gacha and protected himself from the tentacles that were headed his way. The shield glowed a faint white light and repelled the incoming tentacles.

Jun: Whew...Close one, that was.

Majin: Jun! I'm ready!

Jun: Perfect! Now for my part! Ha!

Jun keeps the shield in his storage space, then gets near a doable distance from the slime so that he can cast a magic spell. He takes a stance to channel his magic, Waiting for the right moment when Hans gets close enough. After Hans get's close enough for his comfort, Jun fires off his dragon slayer magic.

Jun: Let's take this up in the air Hans! [Sky Dragon's Wing Attack]!

Jun strikes out his arms in a diagonal X-swing, which then summons a tornado around the huge slime. Slowly, the slime was lifted from the ground together with the debris around it. And no matter how hard it tried, it cannot move away from the vortex of the tornado as Jun keeps on channeling magic to keep the spell going. A few moments later...

Majin: Here I go! "I will pierce the infinite world...I will sever the thread of destiny with this boundless light!

Majin takes a stance with her sword near her face and her left hand outwards, as if preparing to thrust the long red katana out. The blade of the katana shone with a black light surrounding it, black lightning sparks erupting around the blade.

Majin: Zekken, MUKYUSANDAN!

As she thrust out with the katana in her hand, a black beam with a yellow-gold outline burst out from the hilt of the sword. It then traced a straight line leading to none other than a trapped in the air general poison slime in the tornado.

Hans: GRRRRWWWOOOOOOHHHH!!!

After a few more breaths, the beam and the tornado stopped at the same time, with Hans no longer visible, slime and all.

<Alpha>: Mission details: Defeat the demon general Hans!

Status: Completed!

Reward has been sent to Jun's [Storage]

Majin: We did it Jun!

Jun: (sighs) That we did. Well, we should at least report this to the officials in the city. At least they will be aware that the demon lord's army won't just stay passive and not attack the cities far from the front lines.

The two decided to return to the city, not planning to head into the hot springs anytime soon since the water has been contaminated with Hans' "gunk".
