Raining Tears

Heaven's tears fall from the sky,

dripping onto your stone,

in which you slumber eternally,

under the Lord's throne.

I watched as the angels took you up,

away from this world's domain,

to the sanctuary in the skies,

where you would forever remain.

Times of sorrow soon reached me,

great grief and mourning all around,

but then I wondered if I should continue,

or see you again safe and sound.

Memories from past days,

come back to haunt me so,

until I realized that it wasn't good,

for me to stay in woe.

Instead I look up to the light,

hearing your precious song,

to always know that your there for me,

there for me all along.
