Chapter 1. After death

" Get the car moving NOW! or I'll blow your fucking head off !"

The man dressed in all black pressed a metallic object against the back of the drivers head in an act of desparation to get him moving. His arm was bloodied and breathing haggard.

The driver didnt know what was going on and was frightened by the man in black that appeared in his vehicle with a gun to his head.

" S-sir please dont shoot me im just a driver, and dont have much money, please let me go"

" Just start the fucking engine man, shit i dont have much time. Start the car if you keep talking its lights out. Now hurry up!"

Starting the engine the driver drove frantically towards where the man in black was pointing. Sweating profusely, He asked himself if he has truly gotten himself in trouble this time.

" Damn, cant you move any fucking faster!"

" Im sorry sir this is the fastest this car can go, please dont shoot me "

Seeing that no one had caught up to them the man in black gave a set of directions to the driver that seemed to be scared out of his seat.

Looking at the buildings that seemed to be run down and the numerous looking unfriendly people cruising the streets the driver had a really bad omen.

After opening up the door they saw a group of gangsters in a room smoking and one of them came up striding frantically up to them.

" It was the fucking other side, they caught me lacking and this is the driver the brought me here "

Looking at the driver whom his friend had brought over he seemed to think something was wrong, but he couldnt quite put his finger on it.

The man left through the door and drove out the alleyway. While he was in his car he called a certain number.

" Hello. yes this is officer Shannon and i would like to speak to chief bradley, can you put me on his line please "

After a few second of waiting the call was through

" Chief Bradley, i would like to report a suspicious group of people in the 3rd house down to the left in an alley way on 35th street, be careful because they are also armed and i saw a couple bags of drugs. While he was driving in his taxi towards the police station two cars came to both his right and left side. The cars pulled the windows down and brought out to MK's and started letting off shots.

The last thing he heard was

" Yeah, we got him boss. He was the guy that drove blood-eye jay. What?! he was an officer? Well shit, we thought he was with them. Damn i dont want deal with no cops, aight boys lets get rolling. "

Shannon's heart was beating ever so slowly and in this moment his life started to flash before his eyes. All the pain and suffering he went through, the betrayals, the first time he got a girlfriend, entering the police force. Only in this moment did Alexander regret not following his dreams, and living a false life. His eyes slowly shut as he heard the loud sirens a couple seconds away.

He thought to himself ' If there is an after life i swear ill follow my dreams and travel the world. I just want to be...free'

Just like that the world lost one of the greatest officers to ever walk the earth. Many people mourned, others laughed gleefully, and some could not care less, but regardless Officer Shannon will always be remembered as a hero by many and more to come.

" Hello Mr. Shannon you have died and i brought your soul here because i noticed that you helped a lot of people in your time as a mortal, but you yourself never had anyone to rely on and could never find what you truly longed for, so how about it? i have a proposition for you. "

Shannon was bewildered looking around all he could see was an endless color of white and a strange angelic looking old man talking to him about a proposition.

looking around the room Shannon was still bewildered and tried to make sense of the situation. In the end, he gave up and decided to just accept the proposition, it wouldnt hurt anyway right?

After hearing what the old man said, something clicked inside of shannons mind. He remembered the numerous amount of webnovels that he read on earth and how common people would reincarnate in a different world with wishes.

He was ecstatic! Even though he couldnt make sense of the situation he was in he thought about how he woud get a chance to go to a different world and fight dangerous beasts, and also have a chance to get cool powers.

But still he needed time to think about what sort of wishes he would make.
