Chapter 2

Sunrise shone on Silvia's face just as she was greeted by the grand gates of Liber City. Niya and Enti stopped the carriage just as they reached inside, and Silvia responded by hopping down and inspecting the pair of deer. Niya seemed to be fine, but Silvia noticed a minor scrape located on Enti's leg. "So that's why I felt that jolt," Silvia muttered to herself, before turning to the deer. "Stay here, you two." She said to them, giving them a light pat on their heads, followed by a high-pitched but soft-toned call. She then hopped back in the carriage, now clearly seeing the interior of the place.

She was greeted by a wide range of small to medium-sized creatures, from simple hummingbirds to rowdy pairs of goblins, and a team of magical fairies, one of which was Primrose. "Primrose?" Silvia called out, followed by her and her team darting towards her. "Can you pass me some energy potions?" She asked. The fairies were happy to oblige, and the next thing she saw was that they had already darted away to find what she was asking for. Silvia then took her time inspecting the other creatures present in the carriage. They seem to be elated, scrambling around to keep themselves busy or to check on other creatures.

As soon as the fairies presented her with a glass vial full of blue liquid labeled as "Energy Drink", Silvia gently took the vial off them and bowed as a sign of gratitude. She then took a quick swig of the drink but gagged due to the taste of bitter elements mixed in the drink. Other than that, she managed to pass it through her throat. Now, with energy flowing through her body for the day, Silvia hopped back down, noticing a new scene.

Niya and Enti were still there, but this time, a man was in front of them, scribbling something in what seemed to be his notepad. Thoughts started bombarding her mind, and assuming that the man was a royal guard of the city, she hurried down from her carriage to ask, "Hey, do you need anything?" She then noticed more details about the man now that she was up close to him. The man towers over her in height; his hair is as red as a garnet, and his eyes as shiny and bright as gold. His facial expressions tell that he seemed like a serious type of person.

The man finally noticed her when she walked up, but then his entire demeanor changed. "Ah, good morning, miss. Are these your Jinkas?" He asked rather eagerly. "Jinkas? I do not know what you mean." She replied. The man chuckled in response, leaning away from Niya to fully face the woman. "Jinkas, yes! These deer-like creatures are Jinkas. They look quite happy and healthy, too."

Silvia laughed sheepishly; It seems as if other places, such as Liber City, had different ways of addressing certain things. She approached Enti and she held her hand out to Enti's wounded leg. A wave of energy gently shone through her hand to the injured body part, and the injury was gone; it seemed as if it had never been there. "Well, I appreciate you saying that. I've been taking care of them for quite a while now. May I ask who you are, if I may?" She asked, realizing that the man had not introduced himself yet.

"Oh yes, where are my manners! My name is Tiago. It's nice to meet you, especially that you seem to be a new face." He replied. "My name is Silvia. Nice to meet you too. And yes, I am new here. I'm glad I am welcomed by someone." She stated, "Anyway, uh, is there a reason why you came to see me- Rather, my 'Jinkas'?"

Tiago blinked, as if he realized what he was about to do. "Ah, I was about to get to my destination- I need some important matters to attend. And oh dear- It seems I am late! I'll have to go, so have a great rest of your day, Miss Silvia." He answered, immediately, hurrying back to where he was supposed to head over. Silvia stood there, unable to say her farewells. He seemed to be a somewhat weird person, but she tried to shake him off her mind as she set herself on what was important now.

Hi people, It's been a month! I hope you enjoy reading this so far, and I'm glad I came around to finish two more chapters of this story! Of course, you may have read Chapter 2 here, But I decided to add some sort of folkltales or history about the world of Liber. I dunno, I did not think much about it until I was talking to my classmate and friend about writing my story (If you're seeing this, cheers AHHAHHA). So yeah, if I do find myself enjoying this, who knows? I might add some stories about how the world's setting came to be!
