The car passed by where Tim was waiting. The young teenager hopped on. Reinhart refused to stay in his car and just let his driver drive his car and follow them. 

The car become crowded with another adult's presence but nevertheless, the children did not mind. They were quite happy that they were going home early today.

In the past, they were forced to stay in the family reunion. The three children had no choice but to endure their cousin's mocking and the pity yet schadenfreude gazes of the adults. Every moment they spend there was suffocating. But right now, with their mother by their side, they don't have to endure anymore.

It turned out they could leave the party early!

While the children were secretly happy that they don't have to force themselves every year with their mother around, Liam's mind was still on the fact that she had just cut the family's ties. She wondered how the children would react when they learned her impulsive decision.
