"Why are they summoned?"

Ira asked Madam Rubi. The same question Sin also wanted to ask.

Madam Rubi then explained to them that, in a Shrine of the Vinland Empire they worship the goddess name Fortuna.

When the Vinland Empire got into trouble every time they prayed to them, she gave them solutions each time.

Once upon a time, the Empire got into trouble. So, Goddess Fortuna gave them a certain magic circuit. Using that circuit they summoned five humans.

They were not normal human beings. They were stronger than any other person in this world.

Back then Vinland was merely an Empire in name however with the strength of these five heroes they became one of the top nations of the world until recent few decades.

The main reason the hero was summoned was that they were too close to the border of the Devil region. Devils aren't mortal beings. Most of them are undead or semi-undead.

Back then they started to invade the human realm. That was when five heroes and three Great kingdoms including their nation Belphagor stopped them and sealed the border between humans and demons.

"Though I am not sure why they summoned them this time. However, I am sure it is related to those devils. Because only the Earth link has the power to defeat the devil. Because all of them got Divine magic that we never could inherit because people of our world aren't just able to gain that body condition."

It was a short explanation. But Sin already understood the common context.

He thought that they didn't exist in this world, however, it seems like no matter which world you got isekai, they have this common pattern of a villain.

"Well, if it is true that, devils are trying to invade again then, we have to be prepared well too. I will discuss this with Judge Abraham about this matter."

Madam Rubi said with a frown.

'She took it seriously. Which means nothing good is happening in the current era.'

Sin thought.

'Wait, why do I have to transmigrate at this particular time? Is there any goal or reason for it?'

He questioned himself.

Madam Rubi asked Sin if he will participate in the Spirite God Tournament.

Sin said he was not sure if he would participate there.

He thought in his mind one of the biggest reasons he let himself lose against Ira was because he doesn't want to reveal his Sharingan's full power before he becomes strong enough to protect himself.

Or he is sure that people will come running after him and gauge out his eyeballs.

Madam Rubi told him that if he participates there even if he cannot become the winner he will get great benefits from that tournament.

Tomorrow is the last date for the tournament registration, so if he wants he could join the tournament.

Sin thought, Ira patted his shoulder and said don't be shy, let's join the tournament.

She told him to be ready, she will take him to the registration booth.

Sin smiled. Madam Rubi nodded and told him that he can only participate twice so, he shouldn't miss the opportunity.

After their persuasion, Sin agreed to participate. Ira made a victory gesture.

She was happier than him. She is a really lovely and odd child. And Sin liked that kind of person.

Sin then returned to his room. He was thinking about when he should train with a spear to increase his affinity.

He was about to stand up for taking a bath, and that was the moment someone knocked on his door. It was another maidservant. He was seeing her for the first time. she had red hair and an eye patch on one eye.

She bowed to him elegantly and said,

"Hello, Master Sin. My name is Athena. I am the head maid of the Abraham household."

She introduced herself. Sin was stunned to hear her name. The head maid of this household is Viscount. She is known as one of the thirsty battled women in this world. She is not only her mother's right-hand woman, but she is also one of the strongest assets of this nation. And the fact is her level is above 80, which was one of the most terrifying things.

"Can I know for what purpose Lady Athena came here to meet me?"

Sin asked her.

"She sent me here to teach you Spear techniques. I heard that you take a liking to Spear recently. So, she requested that I teach you a few advanced steps that I know."

She replied. Sin didn't know that she uses a spear in battle. In fact, she doesn't even know much about her except for her name. And he knows recently that, the current head maid is one of the most famous people in this country.

Sin nodded to her and took his spear from the room. Sin noted a word from her sentence that she was 'requested' not 'ordered' which means she is not an easy person to get. As he will be happy to be taught by someone, so he didn't speak to her anymore and stood in front of her with the spear.

Seeing that she smiled and nodded. She told him to follow her. Then those two went inside the arena.

She asked Sin to swing the spear once. He showed her his swing. She became surprised to see his movement.

Her age is 38 this year. When she was only 8 years old her father gave her a spear which was also an expert on it. After all her father is the right-hand man of the Heaven Piercing Emperor.

So, that explains that the spear is in her blood. So, by seeing his swing once she can say that, he did that same move thousands of times.

"You are practicing with it regularly?"

She asked him.

"Yes, I have been doing that recently. But only just this move."

Sin told her.

"It does not matter how many days you have started to practice spear, but your dedication level is 100% this is the matter. Good."

She nodded with an approval face.
