7 Chapter 7

When Rei arrived at the cafeteria alongside Hana and Ai, the scarcely filled cafeteria was buzzing with activity.

"That guy, he can really eat."

"Is it his first time at the school? Why does it feel like I've never seen him before?"

"I do know the one sitting with him, it's Shao Jiang from Class Four."

"This is our classmate Baki. He took a three-year leave of absence and today is his first day back."

Three full plates of food were brought to the table by the three of them. Most of the students gathered around Baki were boys, with only a few girls, but it didn't hinder Rei and his friends from having a normal meal.

Even though basking in the sun could fill their stomachs, the satisfaction brought by eating was irreplaceable.

Kagami said with some disappointment, "Coach, it seems your judgment isn't quite accurate. Even if they combined their meals, they still can't match what this classmate Baki can eat. Right, Kuroko?"

Kagami patted in Kuroko's position, but his hand only hit empty air. He quickly turned his head to look, where's Kuroko? Where's the little Kuroko? Where did my buddy go!

Being stared at while eating, Rei felt a bit embarrassed.

If it were a cute girl, he could accept it.

"Why are you watching me eat?" Rei said helplessly.

"Because the coach said your appetite might be... ah, ah, ah." Before he could finish his sentence, Kagami covered his mouth and stopped him from saying anything further.

Riko also hurried over, apologizing to Rei for the fourth time today with her hands clasped together, "I'm sorry, Rei-kun, for disturbing your meal. I'll take this child away now."
