Me and Hephaestus immediately dash over to where Yu-Won was fighting the ranker only to find both hunched over and bloody. Both were just about at death's door, the ranker was like that because of the Penalties of using his powers against a first-floor challenger.

Hephaestus wordlessly started to pick up Yu-Won carefully while I deliberated what to do about the weakened enemy that was in front of me. It took me a while to fully decide. I'm gonna leave him alive because all he wanted was a good fight, the real rotten person of the group is that guy in golden armor.

I went to catch up with Hephaestus and found him nursing Yu-Won back to health, before intruding I take a mental picture of the comedic sight. I decide to enter finally.

"How's he doin'?" I ask Hephaetus, he answers with a bit of annoyance in his voice.

"Not well, just about dead. He might be out for a week or 2."

"Can you tell me when he wakes up?" after I ask my second question he clicks his tongue and gives me his player kit so I can register it, I fumble with it a bit since it was my first time doing it, but I got the hang of it.

I left soon after that since Hephaestus was getting all mad that Yu-Won was still asleep. I decided to test out how good the upgrade to 'Absorb' is now. I've been meaning to increase my proficiency in 'True Awakened Giant Dragon Body' but don't really know how to. I go out into the outskirts of the 1st floor to try to find a good dungeon like last time, my search was fast

I enter the dungeon and was immediately greeted by a pack of wolves that were about two meters in height they started using their number to their advantage and they swarmed me. I was able to recover and I set up a barrier, this stopped any and all attempts from the wolves of trying to hit me. I then started routinely eliminating them one by one. They were way stronger than the previous spiders, but that's to be expected with a rank that two above them, they still weren't that hard for me to take down en masse.

After eliminating the first pack of many, I used 'Absorb. I was prompted with a system screen.

I picked 'True Awakened Giant Dragon Body' and immediately I saw some results I felt like everything in the room was going through my head, everything was so tangled in itself it felt. It took some time to get used to but after I recovered I could see why.

It went up by 2.5% almost! I look at my stats to see what happened with my Perception stat

My Perception went up by a whole 20 points no wonder I was overwhelmed, 20 points in one go at this high of stats is crazy, after that, I did see that I experienced huge changes in Arcane Power, Constitution and most importantly Draconic Power. 'Absorb' really is a cheat. It took a while before finding the next pack, this one was significantly smaller, I just used the same strategy to defeat it though. Barrier, slash, repeat the last step until everything is dead, and absorb Before I got to the Boss I ran into a wall with 'True Awakened Giant Dragon Body' It capped out at a max of 15.00% so I switched to 'Meditation' since with that I can upgrade 'Absorb' even more. I eventually made it to the boss.

This boss was weaker than the Fenrir I fought so I decided to get it over with quickly since I think that with how strong I am now even the weakened version of Fenrir wouldn't stand a chance against me. I had already set up a barrier so I felt safe so I coated my frozen sword in Sword Ki and cut off its head its ease, it was like cutting through butter I was rewarded with some precious level-ups.

This was my routine for the next week, I would raid any dungeon I came across, and at the end of the day, I would have a shower and sleep. Until my monotonous routine was halted by Hephaestus finally calling me with his player kit saying that Yu-Won was finally up.
