Return to Eden
A darkness had been unleashed along the trade routes of the Mediterranean Sea. The darkness which had become well acquainted with the borders of Sicily,lurked its sewers, and scurried its shoals. It was an unknown enemy. An enemy who stated it's case through the name it presented itself, "the black death".
During the time of 1347, Sicily had developed technological improvements. This new form of technology utilized the steam produced from heated coals to power engines that could relocate buildings and reconstruct mountains. Sicilians referred to this as" the gear lock era". A reign of power that surpassed the Renaissance of nearby nations.
So what is it that we seek from this ever changing land.
Power?
Love?
Immortality?
Magic?
Freedom?
Because...
Whether it be the passion that burns within our loins or the the sense of entitlement that drives us forward, we have to agree that it is a truth that we cannot deny, we are slaves to our desires.
As humans we can all agree that there is nothing wrong with quenching that flame, whether that flame had been kindled by circumstance or belief, we have to ask ourselves, where do we draw the line.
As we bear witness to our heroes' journey, we will see that the line is blurred, and that despite his sense of entitlement, he's noble at heart.
Despite his procrastinations and distractions, he wishes to change.
Despite her nature, she wishes for peace.
Yet, the characters don't know what to do with themselves.
