Chapter 42: Traveling

Honestly Owen did not want to leave as he could take this chance to hunt down every single kabane in the station as each kill will score him some points, but sadly he wanted to stay relevant to the story and so he would need to catch up.

"Hey ronin I wanted to ask if you have any equipment for scouting since your a scout class?" Owen asked as he sat in ronin who has been following the tracks for the last couple hours.

"Well sir, I have several systems, but they mostly for deccting my fellow machines" Ronin said causing Owen to to nod as he soon took out a blanket and played back in his seat while giving ronin the order to awaken him when a station into sight.

"Yout got it sir" With that Owen went to sleep around 9 - 10 at night only to awaken with a jump 4 hours later confused and nervous as a loud alarm was going off inside the titan.

"HEY RONIN WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!" Owens voice was panicked as he took out a shotgun from his inventory as he looked around frantically until a screen showing the outside of the titan popped as ronin spoke.

"Sorry sir, I had stopped for bit to recharge for bit and didn't notice the large amount of of kabane that had congested around me" Ronin said slightly confusing Owen ashe was sure ronin could deal with a couple kabane even if their were hundreds of them so he spoke and asked the question on his mind.

"Why not escape then." After asking this question another screen appeared inside the titan as it showed a more 360 view of the outside of the titan which was filled with kabane to the point where a complete cacoon of kabane was formed around the titan which seems dto restrict the machines movements as Owen saw it several times try to activate phase shift only to fail as a alert of it carrying to much weight went off.

"Okay I got this ronin just sit tight and I will solve this" owen a solution which he which he wished he did not to have to use.

Soon enough after the system message came dozens upon dozen of large ball shaped machines falling from the sky the tread on them soon reving as they began to move around towards kabane and blowing themselves up, which killed dozens of kabane each while also lessening the amount that surrounded ronin who soon found itself able to break free as it used its shotgun on its back to kill of any and all stray kabane groups while stopping on any kabane that was alone or to close.

"All kabane cleared sir" Ronin said causing Owen to sigh as he looked at the surrounding area noting how their was still few R.A.P.S left, which he threw into his inventory for later use.

"Aright let-" Before Owen could tell ronin to continue traveling received a alert that it had detected something large traveling on the tracks causing him to turn look over to find a pitch black train moving on the tracks.

"Ronin I'm going to summon you" Owen said before promptly putting away ronin as he went to stand near the tracks as the train soon came moving past but obviously the people on the train must have noticed him as the train came to swift stop not to far away as a group of people disembarked on it.

"HANDS UP AND STATE YOUR NAME" The leader of the group spoke as he pointed his gun towards Owen who only had his spear on his back.

"Hello, my name is Daisuke" Owen responded with not much care as he opted to study the group of people before him first starting with the person who first spoke to him as he noted thehis blue hair and the host of weapon strapped around his body.

"Follow us and don't try anything funny" The man said causing Owen nod silently ad he followed the group with the leader, the blue haired male trailing not to far behin owen as thry made their ways to the front of the train where a man with vibrant pink hair stood causing Owens eye to immeaditly sharpen as their was only one person in the entire anime with these features.

"Ahh if it isn't the heroic Biba?" Owen said sounding very sarcastic when the words hero left his mouth, but the pink haired man did not even seem to notice as he spoke.

"GLad you recognized me, now uryuu you may leave now" Biba said as he waved away the the people that had escorted owen over.

"Now how about you follow me and we have a chat?" With that Owen climbed onto the train while following Biba, to secluded part of it.

"A man like you who could travel these kabane infested lands could be useful how about working for me?" Biba did not beat around the bush as he asked Owen the essential question surprising Owen a bit but he did not show it as he responded.

"Nah, I like free choice so being in a group with a hierarchy like yours would kinda kill that" Owen voice was clear as he received a nod from Biba who simply waved his hands in helpless way as he spoke.

"Oh well worth a shot, let's go get you a sleeping spot in the mean time"

Hmmm. THOUGHTS? I personally feel it was kinda cheap to allow ronin to get caught lacking but ow well
