CHAPTER 14. YOU KNOW EACH OTHER.

Frank over to his father feeling happy that his father can na speak, meanwhile when Frank ran to he Mr Donald lifted his body up a little and gave Frank a light kiss on his forehead before laying down and started talking to him asking him if he missed he to which Frank replied with a nod and told his father that he's been pleading with his mother to take him along whenever she want to visit him.

Mr Donald laughed before saying "your mother refused to bring you along because you will miss your studies"

"I know if I went with mother I will not be able to attend some classes which is why I agreed to go then later when school closed for the day I can come and see you but she also refused" replied Frank while feeling sad.

"The reason why she also refused to let you come after closing from school was for you to have a time to rest and at the same time it's not safe for a kid like your age to go to places by yourself without anyone to take you there"said Mr Donald while rubbing Frank head.

"So how is John doing, I heard his father is willing to pay for your highschool requirement and other things until you are done with your highschool"asked Mr Donald.

"Yes father beside that I will also be living with John too"replied Frank while smiling and dressing his scattered hair.

"Hmm, his parents are taking care of you like you are their kid so you better treat them well especially John because he is the reason they are treating you as their own to make happy"said Mr Donald.

"I heard you father, beside John is my best friend so there is no way we are going to have a fight"replied Frank.

"You are best friend with him does not mean you guys are not going to have a fall out with each other, if it happens you better try to sort things out with him okay" this time it was Aunty Pat that replied Frank.

It was only then did Mr Donald knew his sister has been standing at the entrance to his room and he quickly called her in before saying. "Hey Patricia how is things in Paris".

Seeing his elder brother been bandage all over his body making him look like a mummy and she cried while holding his hand. Mr Donald seeing his pretty sister crying also had a change mood and he held her hand tightly before saying. " It okay Patricia,stop crying you are making me feel bad"said Mr Donald.

"How can I stop crying when you are laying in bed and not been able to walk again"replied Aunty Pat.

"Maybe it is the will of heaven"said Mr Donald.

"How can you call this the will of heaven when you will not be able to provide for your family"asked Aunty Pat.

"everything has its reasons"replied Mrs Donald while wiping the tears from her eyes.

Aunty Pat refused to believe that her elder brother been disabled has nothing to do with will of heaven and was just about to sit down when Mr Marcus suddenly said. "Hello Patricia, are you declining to greet an old friend which has been years since you last saw him" while walking to sit down with Aunty Pat.

Hearing a familiar voice in the room Aunty Pat only then did she remember her sister in-law, Frank and her elder brother were not the only ones in the room and are ex boyfriend was also there. "Sorry Marcus I did not notice you were there" said Aunty Pat.

"I know you were only thinking about your brother condition"replied Mr Marcus.

"My sister in-law told me all you have done for my brother, thank you for your assistance" said Aunty Pat.

"It's nothing so don't worry about it beside there's no way am going to watch my friend go through all the struggle while I can help out one way or another"replied Mr Marcus seeing how their conversation is getting awkward quickly change the topic. " So how are you enjoying life in Paris".

Seeing that Mr Marcus is asking about her life in Paris Aunty Pat became lively again and started recounting her exciting adventure in Paris and all the interesting friends she made there to Mr Marcus. Hearing that Aunty Pat was really enjoying life in Paris and not even talking about missing Hong Kong makes Mr Marcus feel like maybe there break up did not really affect her life.

But that was when Aunty Pat asked Mr Marcus "I heard that you are already married and even have kids that are now between the age of 3 and 5".

"You left without saying anything to me remember"asked Mr Marcus.

"I remember when you told me you are tired of our relationship and want to move on, so tell me am I supposed to wait for you to come back into my life and hurt me again huh" replied Aunty Pat who seems to be getting angry.

Hearing that Aunty Pat and Mr Marcus are arguing about something and it seem to be leading to a fight, Mr Donald asked. "Patricia are you friends with Mr Marcus".

"Brother Marcus was my ex back then when I was still in Hong Kong" replied Aunty Pat while looking at Mr Marcus.

"So you do know each other, why did you guys break up" asked Mr Donald.

"It's a long story back then I was not thinking straight and ended things with Patricia"replied Mr Marcus while looking down.

"You were not thinking straight you say, you left me for good"said Aunty Pat.

"Back then things were not going well with me and I have to end things with you since I will not be able to care for you"said Mr Marcus.

"Did you bother telling me what you were going through and who told you I will be trouble if you were not able to provide for my need. I loved you Marcus"replied Aunty Pat.
