Chapter 79

I took in deep breathes to calm down before trying to drift to sleep. I woke up finding myself in an almost finished but dusty building and began to cough.

"Sorry about that, this was the only place I could be alone with you", a familiar voice spoke making me turn around to find who it was. Thankfully, it was Keenan. I smiled Wiley at him before realizing the situation I was in.

"What am I doing here?", I asked a question and from the look on his face, I could tell he was expecting it.

"I just told you I wanted us to be alone", he answered coldly with an unreadable expression.

"I don't remember coming here with you Keenan, did you kidnap me or something?", I need to find out how he got me there.

"Come on Ash, can you be real for once? How will I kidnap you and make you feel comfortable like this?", he asked and I thought he had a point.

"My bad. But can you tell me why you want us to be alone?", I couldn't stop my curiosity from taking over.

"You literally confessed your feelings to me and I just wanted to make something clearer to your vision ", he said and offered me a seat.

"I…am sorry about that day but I just had to let it out. I'm sorry if it was awkward", I apologized to him.

"I admit, it was a bit awkward but fun. I have never met a girl who was brave enough to do what you did so I'm very proud of you", I said making me smile.

"But…", he noted forcing my smile to fade away instantly.

"But what", I got nervous after my question.

"But you don't know me. I'm supposed to be your worst enemy ever", he said his expression looked like someone who was feeling remorseful.

"You don't have to push me away from you by saying such things. I used to be and androphobian (fear of boys) but not anymore. I feared falling in love with a guy but here I am, head over heels for you. So no matter what you say, I'm not moving away from you", I stated determined.

"Ash…"

"I'm not asking you to feel the same way towards me so just let me love you, that's all I'm asking for", I cut him off.

"What if I tell you I feel the same way towards you?", he said sitting beside me. I didn't see that coming.

"Yes Ash, I love you too but I don't deserve you", he said touching my face.

"That's for me to decide not you. Let me ask you a question ", I said and without getting any response, I proceeded to ask whatever was on my mind.

"Why do you keep repeating those same words? Like I'm your worst enemy, I'm a bad person, I don't deserve you and the rest. I'm very curious now", I asked nonstop.

"Because…"

"Ash…Ash, wake up. You will be late for school", I heard a voice piercing my ears. It was really annoying but why was she telling me to wake up whiles I was already awake?

'I'm I dreaming?', I thought to myself before forcing my eyes to open. It was indeed a dream but I didn't want to wake up from it yet. Keenan was about to explain his reason to me before Ana spoilt everything and I wanted to hate her for that.

"Ana can't you see I was enjoying my sleep?", I groaned.

"Sorry but you are almost late", she said pointing to my wall clock making me gasp.

"Shit. I need to take my bath", I rushed to the bathroom to avoid more lateness.

"I'd just pack your breakfast for you since you can't eat here", she said and I heard the creaking sound of the door .

"Better", I shouted and continued with my bath.
