Sex Life

"Call me when you arrive!" Edward says before he put his phone back in his pants pocket. He forgot to drink the coffee that turned cold so he just left it there and did not drink it. He got up and walked straight to the stairs going to the second floor where their room was located.

Once he arrived in the room he straightaway goes to the bathroom to take a bath and to remove the smell of alcohol and cigarettes from his body. After that, he goes to his closet and changes into his pajamas. her closet and opens it. All the clothes are neatly arranged, some are missing but only a few so he closed them gently. He moved to the drawer where all her jewellery and important things have been placed. Except for the watch that her mother gave to her when she's young all the jewellery has been placed neatly but Edward wonders why her engagement and wedding rings are also there.

"Thump...thump...! His heart beats faster as he looks around the room and a folder caught his eyes that are placed on the side table.

He slowly walked over to it and reached for it. Edward's strength was exhausted when he saw its contents, "Divorce paper!"

"Ivy!" The man shouted as he saw Ivy going out to the airport. He is her childhood friend who moved out in County A after they graduated from college.

"Peter!" She called him cheerfully as they hugged each other.

"How are you?" He inquired as he retrieved her luggage.

"Do you still need to ask?" She remarked sarcastically.

"Okay fine, I would not ask! Let us go, there's my car." He said as he dragged her where his vehicle was parked.

"Did you get rid of it?" She asked as she fastened on her seat belt.

"Yes, I erased everything and they will not find any trace of you so do not worry, you can live here peacefully!"

"Many thanks!" She responded, and it felt as if a thorn had been pulled from her chest.

The day passed, then a month, then a year and you would never guess that Ivy has lived quietly and alone in Country A for two years without a family and no relatives but at least she have a friend.

"Good Morning!" Leslie yelled.

"Your hot choco and the report that you're asking for." She put on Ivy's desk simultaneously. Leslie is also from country P who married a man from country A. She has been with me since the beginning of the company, and in the two years we have been together, she has learned all Ivy's likes and dislikes, as well as her moods and trips.

"Has Peter shown up?" She inquired, as She sipped her hot choco.

"He isn't here yet Madam but he is on his way and before eight he will be here."

"All right, so what is my schedule?"

"Your scheduled meeting is with Sir Peter at eight o clock and nothing else, so you are free. You can have some fun and possibly go on a date." Leslie teases her. She recalled that they had just completed a project. She decided to have a break.

It was unavoidable that someone would express their feelings for her during her time here in Country A, but she was not in the mood to accept such date proposals, but sometimes she wonders, why not? Perhaps that is the key for her to forget the name of that person that she doesn't want to mention.

"Knock, knock, knock..." the sound of the knock-on her office door. She let Leslie out earlier when she started teasing her about blind-dating her husband's boss again. She recalls the conversation they had before she kicked her out.

"Do you want me to accept George's invitation because you are free today?"

"Try it! so that you don't have work tomorrow?" She threatened her while she continued to drink her hot choco.

"What is the matter with George? He runs a successful business. He is also kind and handsome!"

"Why do you end the relationship with your husband and go on a date with him if you think he's stable, kind, and handsome?" As she raised her eyebrows.

"Ivy you should have some spies on your life. Don't be like that always working and I am just concerned with your sex life!" Leslie answered with a sad expression.

"What sex life?" She wondered.

"Remember, It is winter right now and it is lovely to have a human bear at your side." She winked at her

"It is also nice to cuddle my pillow and comforter so I do not need a man." She looked at her with a bored expression regarding the topic she is discussing.

"How can you compare a comforter and a pillow to a man when they can even make you moan like oh ... oh ... oh...!" Leslie express while twinkling her eyes with a lewd expression.

"Get out of there!" As she lifted her cup and planned to throw it at her.

Her head hurts when she sees Leslie acting like a bitch who knows nothing but sex and condemns her living without a man and commonly says "Man is heaven especially when he is on your top naked!"

She just sighed while checking the report Leslie has given to her. It is the company's monthly sales. If Leslie does not work with efficiency and a better secretary she would already terminate her.

"Come in!" She shouted when she remembered someone was knocking on the door.

"Why did you take so long to let me in?" Peter complained while sitting in front of her table.

"Your late!" She complained and did not bother to answer his question.

"Hello, our meeting is at eight in the morning! It is not my fault if you get here early!" Peter answered as he opened his laptop to be ready for their meeting.

"Never mind! Let us proceed to the meeting so you can have your date." Peter said.

"I don't have a date so do not make it an issue. By the way, did you do what I asked you?"

"I have done the initial but I can not get the right formula. Look!" Concurrently, he handed her his laptop.

She looked at the problem he was saying and just a few minutes later she returned the laptop to him and struck him with his nape.

"Ouch! It hurts! What is that for?!" He complained while caressing the part she hit.

"When your mother says that you must study in numbers, you do nothing but look at the legs of the cheering squads!" she complained.

"So are you! When your Grandfather said that you study Literature you did nothing but follow Edward," Peter said but then he realized what he said and instantly covered his mouth.

"Ehem!" She said as she tried to recover from the awkwardness. For two years they have been together in country A. She asks him not to mention that name because she does not want to hear it anymore.

"I'm sorry!" Peter said.

"Forget about it and this is the formula!" as she extended her hand for him to give the notepad.
