Chapter 8 – Her broken heart

Anna came to her senses when her phone vibrated. It was Sherin.

"Where are you? I came out for a late lunch. Did you eat anything?"

"I'm in the park. I'm not hungry."

"What? In the park? Are you out of your mind? Aren't you freezing? I'm in the restaurant opposite the park "

"O.K. I'll rush there."

Anna tried to stand up but her toes were numb due to the cold weather, she was almost lost in her memory, she forgot about the weather. She hurried to the restaurant rubbing her palms.On the way she started sneezing.

In the restaurant the heaters were on , so she felt much comfortable. Anna looked around and quickly found Sherin , she joined her. While biting a sandwich in a hurry Sherin asked Anna,

" what's the matter?"

"I'm going to marry soon."

Sherin almost choked the sandwich and coughed.

"What did you say?"

"You heard it correctly"

Anna explained everything to Sherin in brief.

Sherin advised Anna to tell about Ron to her future husband before marriage.

Sherin was in a hurry. She met Anna during her lunch break because she knew she will be late to leave the office in the evening as she had to complete some urgent documents. Before leaving Sherin hugged Anna and told,

"I'm there for you always, I'll see you this weekend. Then we will discuss it further."

It was 3.00 O'clock. But it was already dark. She was about to leave the restaurant when Ron entered. She was shocked to see Clare with him. He broke up with Clare and proposed Anna to be his girl.

The couple saw Anna who is watching them in disbelief. Clare grabbed Ron's hand and came towards Anna.

"So Anna, how are you doing? I never expected to see you here, I thought you are still hiding". She said sarcastically, while Ron stayed silent. Anna didn't even look at him as she didn't have the strength.

"Do you think we broke up because of you? It was a part of the drama. Did you really think that Ron fell for your charm? Have you looked at yourself in the mirror? HaH…." She started laughing aloud. All the people in the restaurant gazed on them.

Anna couldn't bear it, she stood up, took her handbag and ran out of the restaurant. She ran along the road and stopped near a lonely path. Her feet was unstable, she fell down. She closed her face from her palm and cried.

She thought Ron loved her and that night Ron lost his control and tried to make her his woman. Anna tried to contact Ron after she woke up next morning. She was not ready to listen to Sherin who told her that Ron deliberately wanted to seduce her and it was Sherin who saved Anna.

When they discovered the cctv recording has been released Anna thought it must be Clare who wanted to trap her. She was surprised why Ron didn't contact her for these months after the incident. Her heart was not ready to accept Ron was to be blamed. She suspected that Ron has been kept away by his parents. Ron Mount, the future heir of Mount's family should be protected. Anna thought after the things get settled Ron would contact her.

But now she knows the truth, it was Ron who framed her. Why did she believe a playboy like him? Even she was still pure, thanks to Sherin, who would believe it? She was an Ex of a rich playboy and the cctv recording gives clues. She was so weak but she gathered her strength and stood up to go home.
