78 Grind

"What happened Gotoh, I was in the middle of something important."Gotoh turned to Leon, "You have several emails from various leaders around the country. The report from last night's strike team has come back."

Leon paused, "Let me see the reports from yesterday's strike, then we can get into politics." Gotoh nodded, "There were three casualties, but all ten dons have been eliminated, and in a rather spectacular manner, Uvogin live streamed him executing all of them."

"Damn well, at least the rest of the world knows we know business, so what did we gain from the strike." Gotoh flipped to another page, "A few billion in jenny, we also were able to upload most of their information on various figureheads around the world, so we have a lot of leverage. Besides, that there is nothing else to make a note of."

Leon smiled, "Is any of that information on the government leaders that have contacted us." Gotoh smiled as well, "Several of them have made it clear that they don't understand our power."

Leon shook his head, "Why are there always idiots wherever I go. Fine, start light with the blackmail, and if they don't roll over, hit them over the head with it until they understand."

Gotoh nodded, "I'll have it done by the end of today. What about the countries wanting to cooperate." Leon scratched his cheek, "Ask them if they would like to send emissaries to negotiate peace treaties and trade deals.

Also, start sending teams to meteor city, and start paying people to become the first citizens of our great country."

"I will have it all arranged." Leon smiled at Gotoh and hugged the man, "I want you to know that you have been a crucial part in all of this. After this is all done, you're going to take some time off for a month."

Gotoh blinked before he smiled, "Thank you, sir, and before you go, I would like to inform you that your parents are on their way here with your three brothers, and lady Kikyo is pregnant again."

Leon stopped. I assume Killua is still missing." Gotoh sighed, "Netero says that Killua has found a friend, and they are currently on Greed Island. And it pleases me to say the Master Killua has learned Nen."

"Well, send someone to go check in on him. I don't want him to become a target." Gotoh pushed up his glasses, "May I request to retrieve Master Killua myself."

Sighing, Leon shook his head, "Sorry, but your too valuable to lose right now, but I'll make a deal. If we can get everything sorted in a week, both of us can take a vacation to go find Killua."

"Thank you, Leon."

Leon's day truly began after signing off on several building permits for housing plumbing and a new power plant. They were currently using one of the stones Ziggy collected to power all the city, but if they wanted more power, they would have to upgrade the batteries and wires to handle the extra voltage.

The others weren't as important, more housing farms and expansions. By the time Leon was done reading over all the fine print, Gotoh had started to blackmail the more hostile government officials.

Leon saw on the report that five of them were marked for death, and Leon approved the order to assassinate them and release any dirt they had on that person.

He didn't expect Gotoh to move so fast, "I guess he does see Killiua as his son." Shaking his head Leon focused back on the task at hand.

By noon Leon's hands started to cramp, which he thought was impossible. Gotoh was practically burying him with reports and orders he had to look over and sign.

The butler had already arranged for several emissaries to arrive in a month and had drawn up several contracts.

Leon looked up as Gotoh entered his office for the umpteenth time, "Please no more, I can't take it anymore."

"Fear not, Sir. You can breathe easy for now, but I feel as if it is important to notify the biologists had a breakthrough." Leon sighed, "And they need more resources, don't they."

Gotoh placed another packet on Leon's desk, "This is the last one for a while, sir, but I must say you brought this on yourself."

Leon sighed as he flipped through the request for stuff he didn't even know the names for, "Yes, I suppose I did." That night Leon retired to his bed, but Machi didn't let him sleep for long.

It was a long week of paperwork and reading, but Leon woke up with nothing on his plate for once. Getting dressed in his casual attire Leon gound Gotoh waiting for him outside his door.

"As I promised, everything is taken care of. All that is left is to visit Killua." Leon sighed, "Do we even have a copy of greed island?"

Gotoh smiled, "When we raided the mafia it turns out they had several memory cards to the game. I had one of the squads go in ahead of us to start collecting cards."

"Of course you did, well let's go."

Leon looked around the large open field he spawned in with a single building, "Hmph, it looks like we've been transported. This isn't a game."

Gotoh nodded, "The nen hear is much weaker than it is back in the capital."
