Zenu was already urging them to go home because he had something important to tell her.

Brandon didn't know that vampires no longer drink or kill humans for their blood, in addition to the existence of the vampire neutralizer pill. This change began when Zenu became the official king after being voted in by the vampire race. This vote was held after the previous vampire king, Van Dern, was removed and banished from power due to his abuse of power. Zenu led a revolt against Van Dern, and while the vampire race initially wanted Van Dern and his family to be sentenced to death, Zenu felt compassion for Van Dern's family, particularly his children, and lowered the punishment to banishment on a lone island.

Zenu is the type of king who avoids using force and harassment, especially when it's not necessary, unless it's the vampire race that's at stake. For Zenu, the vampire race is above everything else, and he prioritizes their well-being.

At that time, it had only been a few years since Zenu became the vampire king, and one of the first things he focused on was the 12 orders, a set of laws that governed the vampire race. Almost all of these 12 orders had been changed by Van during his time as king, but Zenu restored them to their original state. However, Zenu did change one of the 12 orders, forbidding the killing of humans for their blood and instead encouraging the consumption of animal blood and ordinary human food. Zenu believed that the killings of humans for their blood corrupted the vampire race, and he was staunchly anti-violence. The vampires agreed to this change, as they trusted Zenu, especially after he had led the effort to remove Van from his position. One of the effects of this new order was that the immortality of the vampires was removed, and they began to age like ordinary humans. However, their vampire abilities remained intact, and many vampires embraced this change, as they could now focus more on how to better use their shorter lives, just like ordinary humans.

12 Orders By Zenu:

Do not love/marry other creatures aside from vampires.

Do not kill vampires unless they violate any of these orders.

Do not kill humans or other creatures for non-noble reasons.
